Been offline all day, let's see if I can do thisquoted this one to remember all our new unlurkers. Welcome!

I think the correct response is JUP. And proud of it!

minus that one tooth, looks kinda like me now. Was talking with hubby about trick or treaters. I said if anyone dares trespass my property with the nasty barking dogs and me sticking my head out, shotgun in hand, with new denture out, saying "git off my property!" they deserve one of my Lindor Truffle stash. No one challenged me.. Well, on my phone can't seem to edit right, get 2 copies of quotes. My sincere apologies to Matt and everyone.. Been a long day
:facepalm::lol:
Damn handsome fella, ain't he?:lol::lol:

Hiya Harley, good to see ya! Welcome Bozzlite and crap, who's the other one, starts with a B too I think. All I'm comin up with is Beach and that don't sound right. I'm sorry....especially if you're the Texan, but welcome to ya!!

I realized what was most important to me about smoking, what relieved the stress/tension, was the sensation of inhaling the smoke and exhaling it.
Wasn't the most important thing, but yeah was a biggie, that deep breath and exhale....so relaxing.

First pack was 45 cents I was six years old.
You must be younger than me then, (i'm 52), cuz when I was 12 they were .45 cents a pack and the drugstore. either that or they were wayyyyy more expensive in your neck of the woods!!

I'm looking for spare parts for my Kayfuns just in case. So far, I've found this and this. They also have grub screws (like this, this, and this) and phillips head screws (like this and this).

Any place else I should be checking?

my kayfun v4 leaks when i fill it what am i doing wrong ?
If ti leaks while you are filling it, you are either hitting the air pipe, or forgot to close it. If it gurgles and leaks after you fill it, then you filled it too full - just fill to the top of the window, not all the way to the top.

Hi, Debadoo!!! I can't believe it myself, but it will be five years since I quit next April 13th, 2016. We were thinking of doing something outrageous, but I refuse to jump naked out of a plane!!! We are just about to turn ourselves into pumpkins for the night! It's nice to have that extra hour to be silly from being overtired!

My husband was smart and never got hooked on cigs. He didn't know you were supposed to inhale!!! Being that kind of oblivious person has its advantages!!! I wish I had known not to inhale!!!! Hope you had a good Halloween in TX!!!

Sure go ahead and ask me. My neighbor was an orthodontist and he paid fer da tree house lumber. Matt covered my neighbor's cost da first time he fell outta da tree!

Dat's why ya see Matt wearing dat sealbelt...
icon_wink.gif

I just know that I'm going to laugh in my sleep after reading this!!! It's just too goshdarn FUNNEE!!! And I spent the first four years of my life in MN, so when I read dat accent, it reminds me of my relatives who were dairy farmers and talked like Ole and Lena and were straight outta da set of Fargo!!! My husband spent the first eight years of his life in MN, too! We met in entirely different states, but there is just something contagiously funny about midwest humor that always grabs me!

We have lived in so many states now that when people ask us where we are from, we just say "America!!!" Even when we lived in parts of Canada, no one could tell we were not from around there! I guess it was from watching too many Red Green shows ... hey! He-he!!!

I smoked a pack and half a day (more on weekends) for 40 years. Wow, it was getting expensive. I went through a carton every 5 days or so. It was close to $60 a carton. $360 a month, up in smoke, literally. It was over 5 years ago when I started hearing about these new fangled electronic cigarettes. Did a bunch of online research and ordered an EGO kit and some juice.

I remember the day it arrived. July 22, 2010. Two 600Ma batteries, a few atomizers and tips. Charged them up, added juice, and started vaping. That was my last day on cigarettes. Haven't had one since. Of course, I have upgraded to 1100Ma batteries, and progressed to DCT tanks and 1.7 ohm prepunched cartos, but I'm still using the EGO style batteries. Tried a few of the early mods, like the Rough Stack and the Bolt, but the switches always failed.

Seems like now, the government is trying to get me to switch back to cigarettes by banning online sales and taxing and regulating e-cig products and juice.
Sigh, what am I going to do with my Uncle Sam. He should be in a rest home, LOL. He's not thinking straight. Alzheimer's or something.

Just one more old geezer lurkin' on the thread. Was a smoker for 56 years,I started at the ripe old age of 8, been vaping for 4 . So howdy from the Texas panhandle, my name is Butch.:vapor:

Welcome to the porches! Always glad to have new peeps drop by!

The first two look fine, don't think you'll need the last 3. :)

Kayfuns seem to always need parts....
Are they made by Jeep?

Hmmm... 11 KFs in rotation for over 2 years. I've replaced 1 o-ring (when that one was brand new, pinched from factory assembly) and one terminal screw that I messed up the slots. Have a couple of the first 2 DH linked, but haven't needed them, since everything I needed was included with each KF.

Unless you're talking about wire and wick??

Good luck with that. When anyone here gets over $10 in spare change, we spend it for them. :D

Speaking of which, MFS has some stuff dirt cheap. Probably cleaning out the basement. https://www.myfreedomsmokes.com/hot-deals-coupon-codes/clearance.html

Ok, I asked someone who has used it on copper paint on here, but they must not be online the last couple days.

If I had a mod door that was a solid sheet of 99.9% pure copper, raw other than a thin application of wax dunno what kinda wax.... it does have holographic grooves cut in it...... could I use a clear coat sealer of some sort to seal it and keep it looking like bright shiny copper do y'all think??? I know folks have successfully used this type of product to seal a door that has copper vein paint on it that has real copper in it. Just dunno bout an entire door, if it would stick to the copper itself. And no, it's not a reo door

One problem with coating copper comes when the coating material starts to wear off. You then need to remove ALL of it prior to recoating, or it will never look good.

And any coating is likely to "fill in" your holographic grooves, maybe radically altering the look.

I'd just polish it out really well with NevrDull, which will also leave a "protective" film to slow the patina growth. (Many auto parts stores carry it.)
