I'd edit and remove part of my last post if I were you. A thief could find out your pin.

unfortunately, with this crazy world today, I must agree.@Janet H

Jup I was lucky I didn't need that, 24mg did the trick, but unfortunately many do to finally quit or cut way down on smokes. But best not to try it if one doesn't need it.On WTA. Not tried it and getting along fine without it so will not try it. Not needing another monkey on my back![]()
that happens quite a lot!I think that once Stella saw and spent some time with Amelia, she felt free to depart this life. It seems others felt more or less the same.
Great point, but am hoping she meant that was an old pin right after they got married that's not used anymore.@Janet H

Well I hope so too, but there weren't no such animal as pins when they got married.Great point, but am hoping she meant that was an old pin right after they got married that's not used anymore.
woops....another excellent point lolWell I hope so too, but there weren't no such animal as pins when they got married.
That was supposed to be aperitif. You know desert sipper kind of thing, until damn autocorrect got to it.I'd give it a try. Might do the trick or you could also try upping the flavor.
What's alerting?
The deeming seem to be worse than most anybody thought. It's unnerving watching those that have been in the fight for so long be so pessimistic. Those that will be hurt the most are the ones who can't afford to prepare and those that haven't started vaping or haven't heard. Those that have turned a deaf ear, and even ridiculed others for preparing, have little sympathy from many of us. I never used WTAs but know its meant the difference of quitting or not quitting smoking for many folks. I have to agree with the term desk murderers, it'a appropriate. Please don't tell me WTA on da 'table' also. Although I've never had to rely on it, it sure would shut out da folk that need it! Ask Mike...
Nearly all my mail gets sent to my box at the PO. On mondays, packages don't get delivered. They do that so they can deliver all the small pieces from the weekend faster. A nuisance, but I can understand it.
Bells, very sorry for your loss. Good on you for being a guiding light for vaping despite your grief.Regarding Postmasters: the only way they'll take action on improper delivery procedures is if they know you'll go over their head. That's because they encourage the improper delivery procedures because it makes their numbers look better.
Today I went to a funeral, then hung out for a good many hours with the family of the deceased, all people who I know well and used to spend a lot of time with. It was good to be there and be with them. If one of Stella's granddaughters hadn't messaged me a few days ago I wouldn't have known so I'm really glad she did. I fielded quite a few vaping questions on the "smoking porch" from someone who had a fixed-voltage Ego device but neither liked nor used it, from two smokers who said they're considering trying vaping, and from a non-smoking, non-vaping cynic who thinks she knows it all.
Taking up an equally large part of my day was messing with a quadcopter that I don't want to send back but will if I can't get it working right. Got it working right but it's been raining all day so I can't go outside to test.Does your wife think you have aqua on the brain?
Autocorrect is a blessing and a curse. I've seen people complaining about their raping experiences. Just about flew off the handle. I was livid until I saw how mortified they were about the autocorrections of their thread titles. Autocorrect (auto-correct, auto correct?) has done me in more times than I care to recollect. That was supposed to be aperitif. You know desert sipper kind of thing, until damn autocorrect got to it.
It doesn't make it worse for them, only for you. That's why they need to know you're ready to take it higher. Carriers who take shortcuts (like not going to the house for a signature delivery or because the package is too big for the box) are local management heroes because they finish faster and use fewer hours. Local managers who use fewer hours get attaboys up the wazoo, so they gladly turn a blind eye to carriers who take shortcuts. In turning that blind eye, they endorse and encourage the improper procedures.Of course, your mail is only as reliable as those directly responsible for it. There are a number of lemons out there and not holding them responsible only makes the problem worse.
Me too but, it has gotten to the point where I can barely type without at least the autocomplete feature. I turned it off the other day because I was really sick of having to go back and correct the autocorrect stuff. Turned it right back on because I hadn't realized how much it actually got right or how bad my typing on the onscreen keyboards was.Autocorrect is a blessing and a curse. I believe you, it's just that we're had a PO Box for the past (almost) 25 years and they've done a fantastic job--at least after the first few years. You learn the darnedest things on ECF. Now I would go above our local PO if I didn't get good service. Before ECF, I wouldn't have known what to do.It doesn't make it worse for them, only for you. Higher up managers are more or less indifferent to local kissing-up, and are therefore more interested in adherence to REAL delivery protocols as opposed to magic on paper.
Sometimes ya gotta keep going above the immediate superior. When the conspiracy goes all the way to the top brass in the District, which it frequently does, your US Congressperson can be a fire-breathing ally.
That I can relate to 100%. Now if it could just detect the words I (or my dying keyboard) fails to insert. I think a lot of my problem is also the stokes (not to mention utter failure on proofreading) but sometimes I just scratch my head. What I wrote and saw is not what gets posted. It's amazing to me how many time recently I've heard of local delivery folks throwing whole bags of mail away rather than deliver it. I know that it's just one bad apple making the whole bunch look bad but damn! Two cases recently around here come to mind. One was a delivery woman over in Norfolk who was throwing whole bags in amongst the illegally dumped trash in a vacant lot. Only got caught when a local resident shot video of her doing it. They found over 30 bags of nondelivered mail going back almost a year. The other was a guy here in Hampton that had been going home in the early afternoon to have a beer or two and was throwing bags of mail that he should have delivered during that time up into his attic. Not sure how they caught him (they said,I just can't remember), lastly they caught a bunch of baggage handlers over in Norfolk that were sorting out the checks and small packages in the bags that came in via air. They got caught trying to cash folks social security checks. Just horrible how long they had gotten away with it. Don't know how they got around the sealed bag issue. It doesn't make it worse for them, only for you. That's why they need to know you're ready to take it higher. Yep. Our PO went way downhill starting at the first of this year. By May I'd had it, d started going to the counter everytime there was a problem. Or calling the help # to open an investigation. I always sign up for text notifications & that # they give you is great. Especially when I see I have a package that's been floating around California for a week, or is sitting in North Houston when it should have been on the truck before last. The deeming seem to be worse than most anybody thought. I don't, I'm sorry, it's their job. They are withholding mail because it's a busy day? Imagine if I said that when I worked in fire or when my husband was an EMT. I didn't even say that when I was a sales clerk. Doing my job was what I got paid for.
Bells, very sorry for your loss. Good on you for being a guiding light for vaping despite your grief.Hope you can get that puppy in the air tomorrow!
BTW, when we've had problems with a delivery, we've gone to the PO in person and inquired. They get to the bottom of it pretty quickly. They have far more data then what you get with tracking. Can you imagine how many complaints they get for a package being a day late? Who wants to deal with the whiners? Of course, your mail is only as reliable as those directly responsible for it. There are a number of lemons out there and not holding them responsible only makes the problem worse.
Very much so. I find myself going back to edit and correct posts all the time in an effort not to look like and uneducated boob. Apparently doesn't work all that well! That I can relate to 100%. Yep, we've had one about that long. Ours used to be great, but the entire staff turned over late last year & it started getting nutso in January. I could see the look of horror on their faces when when I'd walk in once I got fed up with it.I believe you, it's just that we're had a PO Box for the past (almost) 25 years and they've done a fantastic job--at least after the first few years.
