That I can relate to 100%. Now if it could just detect the words I (or my dying keyboard) fails to insert. I think a lot of my problem is also the stokes (not to mention utter failure on proofreading) but sometimes I just scratch my head. What I wrote and saw is not what gets posted. It's embarrassing.
The same thing happens to me. I proof read, post, & it's suddenly wrong. Except all the odd d's, & the x's at the end of a sentence when I'm on my phone. Those are all me.

As you can tell because I'm here, got a little sleeping problem tonight. Went to bed around 8:30pm and Doree woke me accidently when she came to bed. Been up ever since. Might have gone into the hangout for a visit cept I'm in my bathrobe and don't have my teef in. :)
I'm just now winding down enough for the med's to kick in. I'm back on steroids for the second week now, which is why I'm not on the H/O. My No button has been over ridden.

Putting the Accidental Wedding story on the back porch for those interested (give me a bit to type it).

Still vaping the Subtank Mini with the .6 coil in it. It still kicks like a mule but I am thinking splitting the difference between my normal 1.2ish coil and the .6 in there now might just be the ticket. SO when I redo the coil I am going to try something in the .8-.9 range.

I don't use autocorrect, and I'm almost obsessive about proofreading and editing after the fact. I do use the portion of the software that shows me a squiggly red line under any of my typed entries that the software does not recognize as proper words, but I'm free to post those alleged non-words anyway. Usually I look them over, if not before posting, then afterwards. If I'm able to edit within 5 minutes, the post does not show as "edited", but if it's over 5 minutes, then the post will show that I've edited it.

I don't understand why people use a separate post to make a correction rather than simply editing the original post, unless someone has already quoted the errant text. The same bewilderment on my part applies to Facebook posts too.
Where is that software adjustment located? Is it on the forum?

No, I don't think it's on the Forum. I believe it's an option I can play with in my browser (I use Chrome mostly), but don't know for sure. It's harder to get rid of it if you're using an Apple device, but there's a way to do it there as well.

Husband has a problem with his phront teeph. Can hardly understand a word he says without them. Damned immigrants.
Yep, we've had one about that long. Ours used to be great, but the entire staff turned over late last year & it started getting nutso in January. I could see the look of horror on their faces when when I'd walk in once I got fed up with it.
That's where I'm afraid ours is going. Only one person left that I completely trust. So far, so good though. Sometimes small towns rock. Hope I didn't just jinx it.

I'll look tomorrow, as Kenna said, (blessed sleeping) drug kicking in. :)

Damned you, you have me intrigued about that tank. :(

Don't mean to get down on others. I'm blessed with exceptionally good spelling and writing abilities, and if I insisted that everyone be as good I'd be spending even more time talking to no one but myself. Additionally, I know from experience that, as much as I'd like it to be, spelling ability is not directly related to intelligence.

Geez, Matt, even if you're an uneducated boob (which I know you're not), you're OUR uneducated boob. :)
I too edit my posts rather than make a new one most of the time. Sometimes however the mistake is so egregious that I have to point it out and allow others to have a good laugh. MOst of my posts are made either using my cell phone or tablet. It's rare when I get the chance to sit down at the desktop and post.

OK, Matt, so why does your autocorrect let you misspell "definitely" as "definately" with such regularity? Does it get confused between definitely and defiantly?

Moving right along, I was amazed.. no, astonished! when I went to improve upon the 0.40 ohm titanium coil that I've already used for a full month (I think... not keeping exact records) for TC vaping. The rayon wick came completely clean in the sink with cold water. Then I ran the wick back and forth, like a cleaning rag, through the crusted coil. Then I added joose and vaped it again without even waiting for it to dry.. it's like new! Friggin amazing!

Boden I suspect that your wife is correct but the coiling looks good to me.
I would not have claptonized it though.
I was trying to make the smallest Clapton possible. I made a 32/38 Clapton but it was too springy. The 30/38 was better.

On WTA. Not tried it and getting along fine without it so will not try it. Not needing another monkey on my back;)

No need to use it unless you're having trouble getting off the cigarettes. Mike found that it did the trick for him. I used it a bit as well, but didn't notice a huge difference, but evidently I didn't need it like he did. Once he switched over to vaping it was easy for him to just taper off and leave it behind. Besides, it's an expensive additive to the juice.

Regarding Postmasters: the only way they'll take action on improper delivery procedures is if they know you'll go over their head. That's because they encourage the improper delivery procedures because it makes their numbers look better.

Today I went to a funeral, then hung out for a good many hours with the family of the deceased, all people who I know well and used to spend a lot of time with. It was good to be there and be with them. If one of Stella's granddaughters hadn't messaged me a few days ago I wouldn't have known so I'm really glad she did. I fielded quite a few vaping questions on the "smoking porch" from someone who had a fixed-voltage Ego device but neither liked nor used it, from two smokers who said they're considering trying vaping, and from a non-smoking, non-vaping cynic who thinks she knows it all.

Taking up an equally large part of my day was messing with a quadcopter that I don't want to send back but will if I can't get it working right. Got it working right but it's been raining all day so I can't go outside to test.Does your wife think you have aqua on the brain?

Sorry you had to go to the funeral of your friend. Unfortunately funerals and weddings are occasions to get together with family and friends we haven't seen for ages. Sad but true. It's good though that you were able to field some vaping questions. We seem to be running into more and more people everywhere who either are happy to see another vaper or have questions about it. The cynics who think they know it all will never be convinced.

@Janet H
I'd edit and remove part of my last post if I were you. A thief could find out your pin.

Thanks for pointing that out. It would be pretty hard to use it without other pertinent info, and really wouldn't be worth the effort, at least in our case, but the deviousness of more and more people can't be underestimated. I believe all our info is out there anyway if you know where to look, but no point in making it easier for them.

I believe you, it's just that we're had a PO Box for the past (almost) 25 years and they've done a fantastic job--at least after the first few years. You learn the darnedest things on ECF. Now I would go above our local PO if I didn't get good service. Before ECF, I wouldn't have known what to do.

We had to use a PO box for many years in our small town. The postmaster there was just awful. He just shoved mail into the boxes without reading who it was addressed to and sometimes just bundled mail and told us about it every couple of weeks. Complaining to him only caused him to scream at me that it was a mess in the back! The whole town was upset. I filled out the form to the Postmaster General and finally made some phone calls. Then an official postal car was seen at our PO for a whole day and immediately after that our guy was replaced. It's been fine ever since. I hate complaining and certainly don't want to get anybody fired, but this had gone way too far.
