Putting the Accidental Wedding story on the back porch for those interested (give me a bit to type it).

Still vaping the Subtank Mini with the .6 coil in it. It still kicks like a mule but I am thinking splitting the difference between my normal 1.2ish coil and the .6 in there now might just be the ticket. SO when I redo the coil I am going to try something in the .8-.9 range.

And no reason not to go higher, Myrany.

My preferred vape is about 1.8, so that's how I rebuild my STMs. (And Kayfuns and all the rest...)

Yep and at 1.8 you can use them on a Zmax or provari, etc...

Quite so! Most regulated mods have a low end, so building somewhere over that lets you use the topper on any mod you have.

No, I don't think it's on the Forum. I believe it's an option I can play with in my browser (I use Chrome mostly), but don't know for sure. It's harder to get rid of it if you're using an Apple device, but there's a way to do it there as well.

I want to activate it. I use Chrome.

The board has a spell checker built in to the reply box, but not auto-correct. (At least, not that I've found.)

Many tablets have both auto correct and auto complete, and accessing those will depend on the OS, i.e. Mac, Android or Windoze.

I'm usually at 1.3-1.5. I'm trying to recall how low a Kayfun can go. And can they use titanium? Wondering what it would do flavor wise. Are titanium coils spaced or contact?

Can't speak to titanium, but I'm sure someone will.

But I suppose you can build a KF to anything you want. The question is more how low is the low ohm cutoff on your power source. While the topper won't care, if the mod sees it as a short (i.e. too low a resistance), it just won't fire.

Of course, a low Ω coil without enough air flow can make for a really harsh vape... and that might be a factor with a KF, since you're not going to get massive airflow with those.

I am at 1.5 to 1.7 Using my Nemmys unkicked ATM. Orchids, hole blocked on unused side.

With Ti you can go either way but I prefer spaced. I get a great vape with Ti at 5 wraps 3mm spaced 26awg. Comes out between .26 and .28 ohms and vapes well on the SX at about 400F in Ti mode. If you are using nickel mode run it about 100F less I liked 290F Ni mode before YiHi fixed the Ti mode. Now it is right on. The microcoils with Ti to me didn't have the flavor and I occasionally got Dry Coil warning. That is the build I have in 7 STM's. But it depends on what mod you are using the SX will go down to .05 ohms actually lower.

Airflow on the kfl-lites is the limited factor. They'll support a sub-ohm coil, if the vape is Ok for you. I've used nickel coils at .16Ωs and got a nice vape with 'em. Can't speak about titanium. Went back to Kanthal after trying nickel and TC mods.

I am actually liking the flavor and vapor of the .6 ohm coil it just really creates a heavy heavy throat hit with the 10 mg juice I have in it right now.

No doubt I will be playing around with this thing for the next few weeks to work out where I want to be with it. Right now my big limiting point is I have got to order some higher continuous amp batterys. I only have 1 that is above 10 Amp atm and it is fairly old. So when I am up to it I will be recoiling this thing a bit higher.

I too edit my posts rather than make a new one most of the time. Sometimes however the mistake is so egregious that I have to point it out and allow others to have a good laugh. MOst of my posts are made either using my cell phone or tablet. It's rare when I get the chance to sit down at the desktop and post.

No need to use it unless you're having trouble getting off the cigarettes. Mike found that it did the trick for him. I used it a bit as well, but didn't notice a huge difference, but evidently I didn't need it like he did. Once he switched over to vaping it was easy for him to just taper off and leave it behind. Besides, it's an expensive additive to the juice.

Sorry you had to go to the funeral of your friend. Unfortunately funerals and weddings are occasions to get together with family and friends we haven't seen for ages. Sad but true. It's good though that you were able to field some vaping questions. We seem to be running into more and more people everywhere who either are happy to see another vaper or have questions about it. The cynics who think they know it all will never be convinced.

Thanks for pointing that out. It would be pretty hard to use it without other pertinent info, and really wouldn't be worth the effort, at least in our case, but the deviousness of more and more people can't be underestimated. I believe all our info is out there anyway if you know where to look, but no point in making it easier for them.

We had to use a PO box for many years in our small town. The postmaster there was just awful. He just shoved mail into the boxes without reading who it was addressed to and sometimes just bundled mail and told us about it every couple of weeks. Complaining to him only caused him to scream at me that it was a mess in the back! The whole town was upset. I filled out the form to the Postmaster General and finally made some phone calls. Then an official postal car was seen at our PO for a whole day and immediately after that our guy was replaced. It's been fine ever since. I hate complaining and certainly don't want to get anybody fired, but this had gone way too far.

The only way for some people to quit smoking is to use WTAs. No one should be penalized for quitting smoking either by the government or health insurance companies.

I don't like to see someone lose their job but sometimes they have to. Being rude and obnoxious on their part sure helps take the guilt off your shoulders.

I used to like 1.5Ωs, then suddenly didn't. Been using the 1.8s (and they are factory so bounce around a bit) for about two years. Have a nice stash of 1.5s to rebuild when the FDA meltdown happens.

IN my non TC coils that is the value I aim for as well. Seems to work best on just about any device. Now that most of my devices will handle a lower resistance I am thinking about dropping to a .9 - 1.1 ohm coil. They seem to work better at slightly higher wattage and give me a warmer vape that I prefer. That's one of the things that I am not liking about TC. I can't seem to get a warm enough vape out of it.

well I was going to make a post asking if anyone has found a battery case that will hold about a dozen batteries with the lil elastic strips.....but......I think I may have found a great idea, but wanna see if y'all think this would work well...and also to share it if it will in case others might need the same thing. Not sure how loose/tight these straps would be for holding batts. I need to hold 18650, 18490 and 16340 ones.

May not get this exact one, and may need to contact the company to see, but am wondering if I can put a 16340 under an 18650. But even if I needed to use both upper and lower spaces for the 5 18650's, I should at least be able to double up with the 18490's and 16340's.

I'm the same way with my posts. Generally don't see the mistakes until it's way too late and they've been up for a couple of days. As far as small errors in spelling (Bells) it's usually with words that aren't easy to sound out and are very common for misspelling. I don't know why they don't show up in the spell checker unless I accidently allowed them through a few times and the spell checker thought that they were correct because I told it to.
As far as ohmage of my coils I really haven't noticed much difference between 1.4 - 1.6 or 1.8 ohm coils. I normally adjust my wattage until the vape feels and tastes the way I like it and don't even concern myself with the numbers. In the temp control world I wish someone would post a table giving the scorch points of the various wicking materials. That way I could kind of threat it like I do the non-TC coils and just remember the upper limit and then adjust as i want as long as I stay below the scorch point. Does that make sense?

That might work. It tripped me into looking at this as a travel case for those that like to experiment with arious flavors and are going out of town for a longer trip.
