I know it :)

But with that coil in a subtank mini I get a huge amount of vapor and just enough TH for me.
I vape about the same wattage when using a 0.6 ohm Kanthal coil in a Subtank.... sometimes a little less even. Still, it doesn't put out enough voltage to SHOCK me. (Or maybe you grokked my deliberate misinterpretation the first time around.... dunno.)

That's ok, Bells. I got it!

Guys I just want to give my very undetailed personal opinion type review of the Kanger Subox Mini Starter Kit the hubby surprised me with.

The tank is a painted to match subtank mini and really does not differ in any way from the standard subtank Minis. I like this tank. One of the easiest tanks to do a build on, never leaks, very nice flavor and airflow control, you do NOT have to build it subohm.

The Subox. Guys I really like this thing. it is smaller than a REO and has rounded edges so it is very easy on arthritic hands. The button has just enough click to let you know you pushed it but not enough to make it difficult to push. The batterys are super easy to get to and change out. I believe it is a 40 watt device so plenty of power for most moderate users.

At less than $60 for the kit this is not a bad setup for someone wanting to step up from an ego. Not bad at all. You are not even forced to buy a charger since you can charge the 18650 while its in hte device via USB. You can buy premade coils so you don't even have to go RBA.

If any of you know someone looking to step up this is a good one.

For me it is going to be my beater for around town. I can drive with it and it is cheap enough I wouldn't get too upset if I lost or broke it.
Sounds great! But, is it suitable for MTL vaping? RM2-like, not Lancia-like?
Venting. Found out at 7:30 tonight that the family Thanksgiving was today at my sister's. She told Mom, who promptly forgot, & neither of them had told me. All I was told was to bring the broccoli & rice casserole & Mom was to bring 2 pies. I, of course, assumed Thanksgiving Day. Making it worse is that one of her stepdaughter's invited a friend with 2 small children. So glad she was included. We were sent leftovers which we will microwave & eat on Thursday.
So, not happy with the sister now for waiting till 7:30 to see why we weren't there.
The whole point of Thanksgiving is FAMILY. To only send one message through an unreliable method is not acceptable. Calling ahead to invite and talk about the festivities is part of the family-oriented festivities!

That's just plain un-American. :grr:
Wanted to share this link from another thread here on LCF....rather encouraging!

probably the meds but MTL is not making sense to me.

The Tank atty can easily be setup for a single microcoil cotton wicked at whatever ohm level you prefer. You do not wrap wires around screws you simply put them in a grove between the screw and the block then tighten the screw. Easiest setup I have seen yet. Tank holds about 2.5-3mL.

Or you can just buy replacement heads for it if you do not want to wind a coil.

Hopefully I answered you if not then please define MTL.

Mouth to Lung as opposed to direct lung inhale. IOW how is the airflow? Is it like the Lancia? Or, is it more like an RM2 or KFL?

People that lung inhale often talk about how you can cut the airflow way down. But, on the Lancia I could cut it down to almost nothing. But, it was still too airy for MTL.

Ah ok it has 3 airflow settings. the small one hole is perfect for MTL, I do MTL on the next airier one but I like an airy draw, the wide open you want to lung hit. On the lowest airflow it is about like PT2 for draw.

My Kayfun clone was a ton airier than the subtank mini but please remember mine was apparently a really bad clone.

Like a PT2? That'll do! Thanks.

FlamingoTutu, just wondering why you don't visit us o the back porch. Don't have to say if you don't want to of course. I get to talk with you here. :) I really enjoy the back porch. I have noticed that some of us are back porchers others, not so much. To each his own I guess. :)
I can't keep up with both. :( Every other Blue Moon I do sneak over there to see what's going on. I do feel bad I don't participate over there.
Little B... remember, anything you add will dilute the original flavor. And as far as your custard flavor... careful. I wouldn't trust anything from anywhere except a company that says it's safe to vape. While it may be perfectly safe and approved for the stomach (eating), it could be deadly for the lungs (inhaling).
Yes! Xs 1,000 this! Pretty sure everyone on this thread knows that but I've read some scary stuff on ECF about what people think is okay to inhale.
I got a plastic, lidded, 500ml beaker from Amazon. It's a footed cone shape. I'm too fumbly to light weight glass thingies. I'd be ordering a new one every month. There are some silicone ones now that show 500 mls, too. Plus you can squeeze them to make a spout to make it easy to pour from. Have those one my wish list. I like the idea of those because my little mixer thing will fit & won't clank around inside.

[/QUOTE="FlamingoTutu, post: 16918966,

@Ken_A. Would you please post your castle here for Tutu? She's stalking around, flapping her wings & leaves & dust are flying everywhere!

don't have them in photobucket, but my page with the pictures is

That's cool! Thank's for posting that. :) Did you see where that other printer could print a house out of mud? Who knew that was possible?

Myrany, thanks for posting about the Subtank Mini. Considering it for the stash box when that day comes and there is no more vape mail available. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst, stash some hidden goodies in there for the dark days.

Kenna, I'm sorry you missed Thanksgiving dinner with your family. I'd be pretty POed too. At least your sister didn't get any pie. She'll probably be more careful next year.

I seem to have missed a whole page too! Kenna, this is just awful! Hope you enjoy your leftovers, but that is just not right.

As for cold... it was brutal out there last night. 62!!!!
Cold front came through yesterday. Was 41 degrees when I got up around 7am, 7:30 it was 39! Finally winter has arrived, although it is supposed to be back in the 80s for Thanksgiving. Night still cool though (50s and 60s), so the air conditioning is officially off for the year! Dogs are out in the doggie yard running around like silly puppies (Well, Geordi IS a silly puppy, almosst 9 yr old Tasha keeps up just fine!).

Robert, hope you can do something for Thanksgiving. A Turkey pizza delivery? J/K

Poor Herb! Naps are a cure for many things. BTW, you still have a chance at Thanksgiving on Thursday. No, I will not share my leftovers.

My thoughts on the Kanger Subtank Mini (and maxi?) (STM) and mouth to lung (MTL)....

Don't care for their heads as they ship, but are easily rebuildable.

The RDA deck is easier to build than my Kayfuns.

For me, the air intake on its smallest setting (or half that!) brings it to a point about equal to my KFs, so OK for MTL. IF I use a different drip tip with a smaller bore. Since it accepts standard 510 tips and since I don't like metal tips anyway, not a problem for me.

The vertical coils are easy to rebuild?
Mine came with a vertical 1.2 and .5 and a rebuildable deck of course.
