I don't watch them. Just doesn't hit me right.My sincerest apologies. I was not targeting you. Many do not care for Rip trippers style, it is pretty much a joke among many vapers.
I like Phil, bores the heck outta me sometimes but, you can't say it wasn't thorough!I learned to wrap a coil from his coil wrapping 101 video, & a lot of other things from he & Phil & like them both! Must be a guy issue.
Like many times.I like Phil, bores the heck outta me sometimes but, you can't say it wasn't thorough!
If and when I find it, I'll post it. I read a lot of articles on electronic cigarettes at the CDC website and skimmed through a lot more, concentrating on articles published within the past 2 years. The only thing I found that even remotely resembled the spirit of the things that Motley Fool said were said by the CDC was a fairly recent Dr Faralinos letter advising against reactionary prohibitions of vaping paraphernalia. Nowhere did I find anything positive published by the CDC itself.@bigbells, were you able to find the report from the CDC to which Motley Fool referred? I was unsuccessful ... If you do/did, will you please post a link? TY!
Good morning, Porchers! I hope everyone slept well and is poised for another blessed day -- as we all are, having been able to give up stinkies, by vaping!

@Rotowoman, lucky you, that you aren't a bit nervous about coil wrapping! I was a wreck! The few tools I use are a coil winder, itty screwdrivers (for tightening down), ceramic tweezers ('cuz I fiddle with the coil while pulsing), and a little wire cutter thingy or nail clippers. And a magnifying glass, cuz I can't see what I'm doing. I test my coil on a regulated mod, so even though I have an ohm meter, I don't use it. Oh, wait. Not entirely true. I use it as a stand
@Kenna, thanks again. Order in
My almost 82 year old Dad arrives, this morning, for Thanksgiving. He's got energy enough for the next 10 people! I'll be lurking more than anything else. Didn't want folks to think I'd gone missing, again!
What an uplifting post!! Hope you have a wonderful thanksgiving with your dad!!!Good morning, Porchers! I hope everyone slept well and is poised for another blessed day -- as we all are, having been able to give up stinkies, by vaping!
I know I get like this...
For those of you who are new to the Subtank mini, you might like to try the Aspire "Replacement" BVC (non Nautilus) coils OR the ProTank 2 coils. Both fit without modding.
Can you explain the difference. I just got my subtanks recently so I might well have the V2.Have any of you used the Kanger subtank mini V2 rba deck and could you give me suggestions and thoughts on them. I was perfectly happy with the old ones once I learned how to use them and had no problems whatsoever. Just wondering about the large holes on the sides now and how you go about wicking so you don't get any flooding.
I do this also. Great explanation! Also strumming the coil like you mentioned, or using rod you built on to run back and forth on the inside......ques em up great for duals especially!On most of them seems best to do one more wrap than needed then pull the coil off and put it back on grab one end with some pliers or similar and pull a wrap off. I pull from the end where the wrapping started as the first wrap can be not as good as the following ones.

Welcome to the porch Herb! I'm just the opposite, I love the videos. Shows me exactly what to do, and a verbal explanation for anything I might misunderstand from pics. and I'm really good at misunderstanding! But with you, just tell me, don't care for all the showboating!I am not a You Tube lover at all , i really hate watching videos and much prefer to figure things out with a pic tutorial . I like Phil because he's actual "normal" , being normal is a good thing imo , very rare these days though .
