Yes it should. Anywhere and everywhere.
I've been PMing Legs about the Wismec
reuleaux dna 200 that I got 2 hours ago; might as well go public!
I'm enjoying the heck out of it. It hits my inner geek! I imagine it might frustrate a lot of people, though, because things don't work the way they're sposta until you upload the particulars to the device. On the plus side, it was much easier to start programming my Reuleaux than it was to program my quad copters, and the software hasn't yet thrown anything at me that I couldn't figure out.
Currently very much enjoying using my SS 304 coil in TC mode, with the proper parameters for the particular coil uploaded into the Reuleaux.
The Reuleaux CAN be used without connecting to Escribe and to Steam Engine, but then it only works the way my other devices have worked with the same coil: at a false temperature setting.
But, with the proper resistance change coefficient uploaded to the device, I'm using 450 degrees F and 20 watts, and getting a really nice vape.
In power mode there would be no need to do any programming, by the way.
I'm guessing that the Wismec Reuleaux RA 200 that should be here tomorrow, and which was $56 instead of the approximately $130 that I paid for the Wismec Reuleaux
dna 200, will be just as good, perhaps even a little better if it has wire profiles already installed.
Nevertheless, the mad scientist in me is thrilled and I have no regrets.
Yes, I know there are those who will think "what's the point?". As I've said many times, the concept of temperature control appeals to me completely and I'm willing to deal with it being a little more complicated. The software does function really well and hasn't yet shown any glitchiness. Idiosyncracies, yes, but glitchiness, no.
Comparing to building a single coil and wick, which isn't all that hard any more, dealing with the computer connectivity and software is easier, but your mileage may vary, or rather, I know some of you prefer to leave the car in the garage and exercise your legs instead.
