I understand what you are saying about the world market. But the U.S. market is huge. We are the 3rd most populated country in the world and have the highest per capita income of any of the top ten most populated countries; and that income of the others who are in the the top ten is not even close to ours. Them losing our market would be very similar to them losing all of Europe!

I think we will still see good vaping equipment but it will be with very limited amounts and very expensive compared to today’s prices. Just my opinion but I think there is to many millions to be made in the U.S. for all these companies to just ignore it.
That is assuming that the FDA will approve the current vaping hardware if the company applies for approval.
I suspect that they will not approve high wattage devices and perhaps not even open juice tanks. Under the current regulations proposals.

As I understand it, when/if it's implemented, manufacturers will have 2 years to comply. That may or may not mean stuff can stay on the market until either compliance allows them to stay or non-compliance shuts them down.

But if the deeming goes through, I think States, counties and cities will immediately jump on the band wagon and act more quickly.

The County Health Department where I live just, by fiat, effectively eliminated tasting bars. (By imposing fees and ventilation requirements beyond a small vape shops budget....) Order issued last month, effective Jan 1.

As I probably misunderstand it. 1st quarter of next year with a 2 year grace period for manufacturers to get their stuff approved or not.
So currently manufactured and sold products can be sold for two years pending approval?

I agree and think many current vapers would be willing to try DIY. But the potential new vapers who want to try and switch will be turned off by all the hassle and expense.
Or if they do try DIY, they'll head to wally world and pick up some flavors that could be DEADLY!

Very little doubt in my mind that at least some manufacturers will be looking to find a friendly judge. So who knows.
I can see that. A judicial order preventing the implementation of the new regulations until the judicial system reviews them. Take it to the Supremes.

The flavorings we use are food and drink flavorings so they will not be banned. Just not sold as vaping flavorings.

Bull City Vapors will likely become Bull City Flavorings or somesuch and not mention vape on their site.

Facebook and such will ban all DIY vape related stuff on their sites.

Parts for vape equipment may still be available.

Mod kits may still be available.

And with or without regulations the vaping industry will eventually consolidate to a few big company's be they BT or not.
It is the American way.

And Wizard Labs will continue to be Wizard Labs but possibly taking Nic Solution off their shelves.

I need to buy another litre of nic. With that I should have enough to last till I die.

Just need a few parts for Subtank mini's and I am good for years.

Has anyone tried the clone V2 Subtank mini replacements from FT?
Going to order some glass a base or two and a few rba's and gaskets from FT.

But when will the new rules kick in?
I don't think they'll give it 2 years. Since their argument is how dangerous it is, they'll go for immediately. But things have sat unresolved in the OMB for years with nothing done. Since this is now political d all about $$, they robably won't wait.

Nope. Well, yes and no. There are some flavorings that should never be inhaled. Safe to eat or drink, not to breathe. That's why you go to a reputable vaping place to get safe flavors. Perfumers apprentice, for instance, has two sections. One for flavor, one for ecigs. Picking up flavors at a local drug store or wherever is a really bad idea.

I am going to keep my gallon stashed and use up my 400ml that I received last week. I will continue to buy normally and not pop the top on the gallon until the prices change.

We just get the same stuff we bought before just as food/drink flavorings.

Thanks.
Please identify which ones, there appears to be 2 different sets of V2 clones on there.
