It was so quiet last last night when he was stoned out of his puny little mind from getting x-rays I vaped very little. Aggravating as he is, I'm vaping normally and breathing better tonight, not to mention Earth is steadily rotating on its axis again.
I knew there was something off with the Earth's rotation, I could feel it! So glad it was neither of those things, but so sorry he's got bad hips. One day we really need a pic of El Whacko!

slipped and fell down them last summer and took quite a knock to the head (I didn't drop my vape, though!) which caused quite a lot of bleeding and bruising. A horse fell on me once, and I don't think it hurt me worse than that tumble down the stairs did. I hate those stairs. I still have a knot on my forehead, 7 months later.
Well, til I ready hubby's post about the cage, I was gonna say it was time to kick the chicken outta her room and move da puters upstairs. My Aunt fell down basement stairs like that when she was 80, broke 14 bones, had a stroke a month later, then lived about 3 more years, but was in a hospital side of a nursing home.

I put together a order from Vapor Bank, it was a few goodies and driptips then got bummed at the checkout.
Might wanna call em just to see if there is anything they can do to help you with it. They're very nice! Even if they can't, you'll at least bring the issue to their attention.

My sister just found out that her Golden, Sara, has cancer, so we are preparing for that.
(((((((((Kenna)))))))))) I'm so sorry sweetie!!!!

My Finlee is 10 months old (chocolate labradoodle) and Jake is the brown 4 1/2 month old doodle. They have the same father but different mothers. We also have a 6 year old pom(Abbygale)
They're adorable! Sorry to hear about Abbygale though.

and she said, in a loud voice, "Eeep! Eeep!" So that's what I have been calling her ever since. Lannie still calls her Chicklet.
y'all could call her chickleep!!

The little one in back was BooBoo she was the Boss.
No snow on the ground, temps gotta be well above 3 degrees, and your wife is wearing jeans and a jacket!! 10 feet of snow, and she's out there huggin an icicle bigger than her in shorts and a T-shirt!! o_O:lol:

Well, ya'll did it to me, again. Yeap, helping me spend my money. I just placed an order with Vapor Bank. I looked at the clearance area and found a few of the Mech Mods that I liked and also a couple of the pipe style kits that looked interesting. Their clearance section had good prices and with all of the vaping crackdowns that are going on, I don't think a person can have too many Mech Mods or RDAs. For now, I think when I get this order, I won't have to worry about the decisions that will be made by those that think they know what is better for us.

Me too. I couldn't resist going back to maybe pick up another 99 cent mod. Of course, they were gone (the 99 cent ones were anyway).

So, instead I bought a couple of bricks of cartomizers and a bunch of Joyetech brand batteries. They have them for $2.99 for 650 mah Twists and $2.79 for 650 mah eGo C. And a bunch of driptips and other miscellaneous little things.

How could I resist that?!

What meds did they put him on? We lost one of our girls who also had bad hips and they put her on a med that helped but it is also really har on their liver, can't remember the name but it's pretty common that they use found the name call Rimadyl. It works and does make the dogs life much better but eventually it has some bad side effects. It did make her life much better for almost a year but she eventually had liver failure. But for an older dog is sure makes a difference and she was able to do things she used to which was great. I'm not trying to alarm you but it works. A friend of ours spent $10000 on his dog and in the end it didn't make any difference having the surgery. It's a sad thing We know our Sadie was one of 2 sisters we had half German Shorthair half Weinmaraner and she was the one who always loved to chase the ball and run. I don't know if that is what made her have the hip problems her sister was alway the mellow one she would chase the ball once and that was enough for her. That was Sally she outlived Sadie by 3 years, just letting you know if that is what they put him on.
I know this is the wrong porch so I will make this quick. I had a Golden Retriever with bad hips. For several years I got him regular acupuncture treatments and they really helped. i also gave him glucosamine/chondroitin supplements and chinese herbs (scheffler root extract, also known as Quinellian or something like that). He lived to just before his 14th birthday, when cancer took him. Watch the Rimadyl. It does destroy the liver. But Riker lived a long, happy life.

To make this vape related, the deck center pin I need for my KF4 that I ordered yesterday (along with a few other goodies for free shipping) said 7 business days to shipping. It shipped today!!!!!! so maybe in a month or so I will receive it. :)

She knows when we call her either name. She's not old enough yet to lay eggs. Potty trained? Yeah, she potties whenever and wherever she likes (if Lannie or I does not clean it up quickly, the Doberman will). Lannie is talking about making her a diaper. Typically, she sits on Lannie's arm during her early morning news/coffee time, then on the back of one of the kitchen table chairs while we're sucking [more] coffee in the morning, spends most of her day in the cage, then after evening chores and dinner is done, we spend about an hour in front of the boob tube and Eeep sits on my knee to watch TV, then back in her cage for the night. The five cats and two dogs who also live in the house do not bother her at all.
My sister in CO had chickens for several years until recently. There was one named Beth, then became The Widder Beth after her mate got killed by the other rooster. She was a small breed & she hung out in the "front" yard by herself. Then suddenly she decided that she was welcome in the house. Coming in several times when someone would come out & leave the door open. They'd come in & there was Beth, checking things out. Then she started pecking the door to be let in late in the afternoon or evening, or to go out in the mornings. She appropriated one of the small dog crates for her nest. The cats d dogs cleaned up after her & left her alone. I guess they worked out a trade off.

Received an email from CASAA to sign a German petition. I registered and signed. I think I can copy and paste it:

CASAA is “rebroadcasting” this call to action from Vapers.Org.UK.

You can see the original post here.

uPHvC3kaIlOiFsYCgPtBRdGINothN9Im73UlTOrtUZqj5DTUtmVLMt6_0X0M1CEfVbfhHRwO-_XTfVDnVQYX-jZpII96rqki5FCd-ZyX8497-cST0_ul3YGe0Sllhbcl6_5-vqSE

Petition the German Parliament: “Don’t implement ART 20 TPD!”

We should preface this by making it clear that this is not your run-of-the-mill petition (Petition 61453). In the context of the German Parliament, this is part of the legislative process. As such, there are detailed instructions for signing this petition on the original post. Rather than rewrite the entire post -- which is thorough and you should plan to take about 15 minutes to sit down with it -- we will simply take this opportunity to explain why your participation is vital.

  1. German vapers (or “steamers,” as the literal translation goes) have written this petition to demand that their government reject implementing Article 20 of the EU’s Tobacco Products Directive (TPD). For a detailed look at Article 20 of the TPD and why it should be vehemently opposed, please see analysis provided by Clive Bates here.

  1. This petition needs 50,000 signatures in order to be presented to the German Parliament. Fortunately, those signatures can come from anywhere. In fact, it may be very beneficial if a large portion of them come from outside of Germany.

  1. The deadline for reaching the threshold is Wednesday, January 20th, 2016. (It is absolutely vital that you provide accurate information when registering to participate in the German petition system. False or inaccurate personal info may jeopardize consideration of this petition.

Please follow the detailed walkthrough provided by German Vapers and register with the German Parliament website so you can Sign This Petition. (We recommend viewing the site as translated by Google for easier navigation -- unless, of course, you read/speak German)

Please take action TODAY and sign this petition!

Please share these posts on social media:

Thank you,

CASAA Legislative Team

I know it's the front porch (where the sloth hammock still sits lonely and the dog water slides are in heavy use) but thank you for the replies. It's nice to know other people care. You don't feel so alone in it all.
Whoa! EW was sick? No wonder you weren't here! I'm sorry his hips are hurting him- poor pup, but glad it's not cancer. My sister just found out that her Golden, Sara, has cancer, so we are preparing for that. It's going to be really hard to loose Sara. She's been my therapy snuggle for about 10 years now.
Kenna, I'm so very sorry to hear about Sara. Really, I'm very sorry. :firefox:
Sorry to hear about your puppy's. I can't imagine having something happen to my babies, they are quite the pair of dogs. My Finlee is 10 months old (chocolate labradoodle) and Jake is the brown 4 1/2 month old doodle. They have the same father but different mothers. We also have a 6 year old pom(Abbygale) that Finlee wore out quickly(Abby has a collapsed trachea) and isn't very active or she begins to hack badly. We were devastated when she was diagnosed so were trying to give Abby a easier life with getting Jake to keep Finlee active to not stress Abby out too much.
I have given Finlee a haircut since this pic. At 80 bucks for the groomer for her first cut I almost had a heart attack. I watched a bunch of vids, bit the bullet and did her myself and surprised at how easy it is when you have a GREAT dog that stands on the table and lets you cut her...the little one is going to be more of a challenge since he's is a trouble making little turd but still has a couple months left to have Finlee teach him some manners.

Nice looking dogs! I spy mischief in their eyes. :)
Kinda surprised Lannie didn't answer this, because she named her Chicklet when we found her. We were going out to do evening chores and heard this peeping, so went to investigate. This newly hatched chick was on the horse corral side of the chicken run, crying for help. We looked for her nest but found no other chicks (seldom does one hatch all by itself) so we assumed that either they died or a predator chased the hen off and ate the babies - except this one. We could not just leave her there or she would have died. We found no hen who was willing to claim her. We could not just put her in the coop because if no hen is protecting her, the other chickens would kill her. So Lannie took her in the house and made her a cardboard box, etc., while I did the chores. Next day I made her a cage and we kept her in the house. We can't put her back with the other chickens now because she thinks she is a people and they wouldn't accept her in the flock without a fight anyway. Anyway, back to the name. I got tired of calling her Chicklet (which is more a description of what she was instead of a real name), so one day while she was eating her toast on the kitchen table, I asked her what her real name was. She stopped and looked at me, raised her head as high as possible and looked me straight in the eye (I had glasses protecting me from sudden pecks) and she said, in a loud voice, "Eeep! Eeep!" So that's what I have been calling her ever since. Lannie still calls her Chicklet.

You know, I have been trying to figure that one out for years and years and I had always thought it was merely the passage of some strange concept called "time." I am so happy to finally know what it is that is making me older.
Chicklet/Eeep runs the house. Wait until she wants her own mod.
What meds did they put him on? He is on Rimadyl for two weeks to reduce the inflammation and pain, then just the joint care stuff after that. We are familiar with Rimadyl and it's problems, thank you. It can be a rude surprise for some people. Our last dog was on it for an extended period of time at the end of his life but his blood work monitored for problems. Surgery is still a year or two off but when he is still young enough for him to handle it and recuperate. Plus we have to save for it. Good thing I have most of my vape stash laid in, we can concentrate on that.
This was them.

That's odd. As I remember the Davide had groves on the bottom of the tank. So even if it screws down and makes contact w/ the rim of the Provari there should be a 'air flow' groove.

What air grooves are you talking about. The top rim of the P 2.5's don't have grooves?

How does it work (or not) if you just screw the Davide on enough to make contact w/ the center pin?

The Davide's has a 'deeper' air flow groove than the old Vivi Nova's. So I liked them (Davide's) better on a Provari then the Vivi Nova as to air flow and draw.

I wouldn't think the pin being too high would be the problem. If the pin were too high, then the Davide wouldn't even screw down as far on it.

If I'm not mistaken the kanger airflow adapter will fit the davides. The adapter fit the Sigelei puritanks we were using till they all broke (thanks wifey) and the davides have the same threading as the protanks so you can fit the bases on each other. I didn't own a davide but have read enough that I'm almost fer sure they are interchangeable with the puritank and protanks since they all can use the same heads.

Mike, thank you for responding. Apparently the mod was listening and now it works. I tried three tanks on it and none worked, like sucking a thick milkshake through a straw. Now it's fine. I just had to open my mouth.

Maybe you have the older 2.5? Mine all have four grooves in the outer and inner "rings." This one only seems to have inner grooves.

provari_510.jpg

Only pic I could find, sorry. The Davides have grooves also, as does the bottom of the coil. That's why it didn't makes sense. Maybe something stuck on the pin? I don't know but at least it's functioning. Thank you again. :)

That would have been an excellent fix! Glad I didn't think of it. ;)
