I don't think I will want to cobble together any more, but it does what it is meant to do. Once I add clove to the mix, it will be my go-to for sore throat all the time!
Be careful with clove I have a vague memory of it being a tank cracker.

I'm glad you could figure out what would work for you!

If anyone is interested in getting a deal the SXmini ML class is $199.95 go to vapedojo.com and enter the code sxmini and it is $100 off $99.95 free shipping. Several people have already got them so there ya go. And they have been delivered fast I don't know now because they have 7 stores in Maryland but the deal is still going. YiHi is going to honor the warranty because this place is way overstocked.

it makes you grow hair on your toes!
I had a neighbor that smoked clove cigs, you ain't kidding.

I skipped the cloves & ordered some sour & some sweet & tart from TFA. I didn't know you basically have to have sweetener, because my raspberry & blueberry taste like a slightly sweetened cake batter. Yech.

What did you use it for?
That was in my early days of mixing, when I thought the standard was one ml flavor per ten ml of base. I used those mixes for lubrication of the plumbing system. I PIFéd to someone who knew a bit more than me.

I'll skip the cloves, too!

Yep, some kind of sweetener can be good to have on hand, for some flavors, but best to start low :)

heh - regular mouthpieces but with a condom on top. softer in the mouth and makes the piece taller for a better vape IMO.
:)

I should have known that. :( Are they silicone or something else, hard to tell with the pictures, not to mention my vision.
AFC= air flow controller. Makes a big difference for 5 bucks extra.
Yeah, should have known that also, sorry. Thank you for the clarification. Acronyms are driving me crazy these days, everybody uses them (news, etc..) and expects everyone to know what they are talking about. We use them a lot in vaping, which is fine by me, but I think my brain has gone on revolt with the rest of the world using them as lazing shorthand and expecting us us to remember them. Mini rant over.
Discount Vapors has some air flow control clearos, buy 2 they are $1.99 each. I tried and experiment and put one of the air flow bases on a mini Davide. Works great! And for $1.99 instead of the $5.29 I paid for "official" ones. When I get home tonight I will try to remember to post a link.
I'd like to play with those, I think.
Always nice to get an ack for the effort. Hey, if we're all here participating in our success, practicing our conviction and best of all enjoying the benefits of it, particularly as regards our health, it matters. Our numbers are significant. If we can bear in mind how those who preceded us made this possible, their trials and struggles, we make a commitment of gratitude to promote the preservation of our rights…We then leverage and multiply the beneficial impact of our predecessors contributions. Believe we should all strive for the latter, as much as we may, to pass on what we know so others may join us. We get our vape and walk away; well then, it's just a commodity to us. We need to reach those vapers.

As for keepin' up with all the hardware; bro, that's the bain of our existence…resisting that, lol. Ironically, that is what we're trying to defend — the value of imagination, the divers evolution of this technology and potential for the quality of life to folks just like us. Can't blame peeps for havin' a good time as we do that, can we? I'll grant you, it's not easy keepin' up with this many mods, lol. But we try!

:D Good luck.
LOL, sis, not bro. Common mistake, just letting you know, no harm done. At least you didn't call me Flaming. Old joke, no offense intended. :)
Just charged up my new MVP pro.
It's calling for up to 2 feet of snow here.
I should be good for at least 5 days.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
This is what you guys get for complaining about a mild winter. We'll be happy to send you our drought for your 3' of snow. Seriously, I hope you all do well with your windfall, sounds like many are having a tough time.
Yes! That's them! Thank you Robert. You do have to buy 2 for that price, and 2 of the same color. But they work pretty well and the AFC bases work on my mini Davides and Protanks. They come with the enclosed dual bottom coil assemblies, but I use single coil Kangers with no problems. For me, the AFC for $2 is worth it even if I don't use the tank part itself.
Cool. Is there one that works on the regular Davide that you know of?
Hah! I timed it and it takes LESS than 20 SECONDS to refill a 3ml tank. And I do it a few times a day. Unscrew top, fill, replace top. Done. Sorry but I am the essence of laziness. And a chain vaper. :D
Jup, I'm with you on that. About 20 seconds and I don't need something the size of a rocket booster on top of my mod. :)
Well yeah, that's generally the reaction by public and advocacy groups. Seen it all my life. We try to avoid adjudication. But if the favorable quorum can't be found in the legislature we'll have to find it in the courtroom. Vape community's going to have to be watchful and all of us try to sort out where the important battles are and join 'em. Didn't think it would come here to FL but I'm setting time aside for this as it don't smell right. So I'm with you on the blindside impression. Folks need to leave their political affiliations at the door on vaping. Parties take turns being on the wrong side of things when it comes to the public. We shouldn't lose out because of that. Case in point, the "shall" or "may" question regarding public rec's access in FL's "sunshine" law. I'm for preservation of public right. You see [political] parties on both sides of similar questions all over the country. We don't need that kind of no sense. So in that context in states without the means for attorney's to recover costs to file access suits, it's all over for them if they get code like Indiana. Attorney's won't step up to help and the public as a stakeholder is outta luck. You have to fight the battles when they can be won. Watch FL please folks. This is an opportunity on various levels.

Good luck.

:)

p.s. Had to add this…vaping really is a human rights issue.
It's late and I've lost the quote. Our internet has been horrific for the past three days. The quote had something to do with being blindsided by the FDA and/or state governments. It seems more and more that that's what they are trying to do, sneak it through. Porchers, at least front porchers, are very receptive to requests for help. I'm damned (and sincerely) proud of them for that. Please feel free to post any news you may have here because some don't venture far from the porch threads but they do care very much about what is going on.

I've been so frustrated lately with my gear.

I just pulled out a 306 to put on my REO. I'm about ready to pack away all tanks (carto-tanks, Kayfuns, clearos, everything) and just drip!
Sorry you're so frustrated sweetie. What did you normally use on the REO? I tell ya what, derringer clone on my REO and I'm happy as a clam. You couldn't pay me to go back to tanks and regulated! Not to mention being set for vapocalypse. Well, soon as I get a couple more derringer clones. lol It's just super simple, and nuttin breaks!

It vents up thru the atty so you know from the taste if it is venting?
that's unnerving.

...
silicone... also from slowtech.
FastTech - Gadgets and Electronics
they have all kinds of variety. I like the taller ones. more room for the vapor to expand, then a small hole to enhance flavor.
