You know this state is supposed to be the Apple capital of the world and you can't get a decent apple anywhere. They ship them out. $4.99 a pound for Honey Crisp. Gimme a break. But the cost of living hasn't gone up as far as retirement checks. If we went to Wenatchee you can buy them at the cold storage places cheap. But not here.I agree Debadoo, how the simple things are the most rewarding in life. Comfort Foods, Fruit off the Vine, a stroll on the Beach or Grass between your toes, Pups jumping all around you; when you come back from the Mailbox. COOL Stuff

I hear ya EH!!I live a couple hours northeast of you and we have apples, cherries and peaches growing in our valley. It really sucks that we pay 2.49 a pound for what I consider culls at the grocery stores. We ate up our supply of honeycrisp (30 lbs) about a month ago and not going to spend that kinda money on mealy grocery store apples. The honeycrisp apples we were eating were the size of softballs and rock hard we got from a local orchard. We have lived here for 20 years and this is the first year we have had honeycrisp apples and they kick the crap out of Spartans for taste and texture.
I don't blame them. Not in areas where new unreleased products are. I wonder if this new tank is going to be like that ceramic tank that kid developed.Thought I'd share this with you I guess they wouldn't let Busardo in on his China trip.

It's like they are determined to keep our standard of living at poverty level. We can afford gas now, but it doesn't free up any $$ because rent & food keep going up. Increases in the cost of food are blamed on fuel prices, but when fuel prices go down, food keeps going up.You know this state is supposed to be the Apple capital of the world and you can't get a decent apple anywhere. Thanks for trying. The mangy beagle doesn't love us anymore?I tried to snap a pic but the wily devil was too quick for me. those sightings are becoming more rare!!
Same here. I've pretty much settled on the side of wishing they hadn't changed, but the fact that junk food tastes terrible now keeps me from crashing on that side of the fence. My taste buds did change, I can't do any sorta sour candies without the major eye squints, my kids just howl when I eat them. Its my sense of smell that changed the most and I can now smell especially minute things in the air and its good in a way but having a dog phart waft by and ewwwww I almost gag now. My cooking skills have gone up with being able to taste what I'm making rather than assuming that I've been doing over the years.
Between the pellet stove and vaping its nice to clean the walls and not have a pail of yellow water from the cigs and soot that has to be changed all the time. My wife's fav is that our house doesn't smell like a motel room, she always said that when she walked into the house.
Are you having any problems with the vitamin D3? Doctor told me to take it and it took a while to figure out it was making me feel like I was having a caffeine OD, shakes and the whole nine yards. Bones are strong, and want to keep them that way, but blood test showed I was low in D.I bought some vitamin D3 yesterday. Others recommend it, and doctor a few years ago recommended it. Feeling a lot better today. It was a combination of a bunch of things. Among them, not enough exercise, except for an occasional marathon. Major trigger for fibro flare. I reformulated most of my juices, and developed the ADV in response to it, but branching out a lot now.
Looking forward to Cali and legal meds.
Going to get dressed and get some WD. Good exercise, too. With 5 PV's, I'm not in bad shape.
Mod saved!!!They are now unmixed.

Glad you got it unstuck! Freezer did the trick?YAY!!!!!
My vamo still has one section stuck but I reached the realization that I just do not care enough to fight with it anymore. It is still usable just with a more limited battery selection.![]()
Yep, it's a crime. Prices bad enough in central California, but when we go to Oregon it's severe sticker shock. My parents had a bunch of pear, apple, etc. trees in Oregon. The apples from one tree were to die for, not a term I use lightly. They gave us a bunch to take home but when we crossed into Calif the AG guys said we couldn't take them through. We sat in the parking lot and ate all of them, 6-8, and gave them the cores to prove we didn't have anymore.I live a couple hours northeast of you and we have apples, cherries and peaches growing in our valley. Latex gloves work well too.Glad you got it unstuck! Freezer did the trick?
I've gotten a few bases/tanks stuck and finally used one of those floppy rubber things to get a good grip on them.
