I've been in and out, up and down and back and forth for a long time and I've been thinking I should thank you all for the hours and hours of entertainment.:)
Welcome to the Old Folks Porches! Now it's your turn to share!
Strangest thing happened today with Vape Mail. I received a Hana Mod v3 Mini (Dna30) and it came with the batteries not installed??? And I'm not talking about 18350 or somethingo_O These are small strange looking batteries that you have to connect leads and stuff inside. I've never gotten a Mod that you had to install the internal batteries. Has anyone else experienced this?
I also D/L the Instruction Manual that made no mention of this. I was able to do it but just found it strange to send out a Brand New Device seemingly incomplete:confused::shock::blink:
Works fine I must add once the Batteries were installed
Surely, it must have been a mistake. No?

I prefer that type also since when the Battery goes bad you have to send it back to get replacements. Hope it works well for Ya. LOL well they send me several spares at least :blink:
yeah I never liked mods where you couldn't remove the battery. Thanks for the good wishes with it, but I haven't used it since I got my first REO. Other than trying one I won a couple times, I have used any other mod since I got my REO. I just love em.

I would hope and it's not my first, but you would of thought QA would have caught or questioned all of the Batteries piled up in the storage case they sent with:cry:
Not the type thing you would want to repeat; for company rep.
But it does now work:)

Kaezziel, I'm very sorry sorry to hear about your wife, can't imagine how tough it's been.
I really need to know how to do that. I really do.

The vibrator would make me have to pee.

At some point, that fine print has got to be illegal. If you can't read it, even under a light and with magnifying glass, then it's just there as a technicality and not meant to be read.

What's bizarre is medications (or other really important information) that uses tiny, fine print. That can't be legal!

I don't remember that happening when we were using the old software. But, now I frequently start seeing quotes of things I haven't read.

So, quote often people! That way we'll notice what we missed!
LOL about the chair making you have to pee.

Agree with the teeny type 100%. In most cases, if they reduced the size of their logos you'd be able to read it. Chinese instruction, if there are any, have bigger type but it's usually a mystery what they are talking about.
It was almost a full 4 oz. of FW Capuccino, it just didn't smell right. I needed the bottle. ;)

I am finding I just am not big on cream or custard vapes.

Mine tend to be fruit mixes and all fruit.

I desperately want to mimic the NJoys Blood Orange. Unfortunately I can't just buy the juice anymore as 10 mg is just to freaking strong anymore.
NJOY doesn't sell 0mg? Seems like a poor marketing strategy since so many people vape at less than 10mg. Just looked and they sell 10mg and 15mg. That's just sad.
I understand. Fruits can be tough. Let me study some. I think I should slow it down some in here, I'm new and it looks like I'm running in (out) here and trying to do all the posting. Don't want to wear out my welcome.
You're doing great, don't stop now! :)

Really hope that's a one-off problem. Sorry you got stuck with it.

Wow, you have been a chatty bunch overnight! I had an interesting night, but gonna post it on the Back Porch since it's not vape related....

I've been in and out, up and down and back and forth for a long time and I've been thinking I should thank you all for the hours and hours of entertainment.:)

Welcome kmk! Jump on it! We are a friendly bunch, with lots of knowledge and experience.

I converted another smoker last week.

That's an error on their part, Sub. I have one & the battery was in place. I'd call them & ask about it. At least they'll have a heads up for their QC. I buy their blems. Have 3 now. The DNA 30 Mini, & 2 DNA 40 4s. I love them. I also have a DNA 30 that I killed (moment of silence, please)....with a reversed battery a couple of months after it was pif'd to me. It was my first removeable battery mod & came with a KFL+V2 which is how I came to learn coil wrapping.
Speaking of pif's I have a Prometey clone, fluff & all, waiting for me at the PO. Whoop! It got to my PO on Monday at 9am & sat until Tuesday when it made it to my box. I guess it was because of the holiday on Monday.

The pineapple & peach sound great. I love real fruits. And the juices always smell great. But my tastebuds might like them or a half a tank, then that's it. They just don't taste good after that. I did a blueberry cream that was great till the third tank. It tasted the same, my mouth just shut down on me & it just wasn't ringing the bell anymore. I can't vape anything apple, banana or strawberry at all.
Fruits have kind of the same effect on me. Maybe you should think of somehow just using fruits as background flavors, just hints maybe. Wish I had something brilliant for ya but at the moment the light bulb is kinda dim.

Yes usually it slows down in the evenings. Yeah I agree Deb; went to charge it and it wasn't taking the charge and couldn't vape on it while plugged in. SO I decided to open it up and take a look. I also wondered what the little sticks were in the small case they sent with it. Strange. I swear that Company (Hana Modz) is getting a little strange. If I didn't know better I would say that they have fell on hard times. Some other funny occurrences during my most recent purchase through them which kind of lend itself to that thought. Not know what their Inventory had, making up a Shipping label and waiting a week to tell me after a follow up that the model that I purchased wasn't available and offered me colors that on their site said that they were''t available?? Just strange.
So with that said buyer beware if you are thinking about purchasing a Hana Mod.;)
That is way weird. They are only offering 6 month warrenties now, too, I saw. I' still buy a couple of more 4s. I like the form factor of those. I'll probably be learning to work on them myself anyway.

I liked them also and have had another 30 and a v4 Single that I still have but the little door latch broke and they didn't want to fix it even for a fee; which should have told me not to purchase another. I suspect that they lost large on those v4 Singles due to those Door Latches and on this occasion I noticed several signs that were just straight wrong signs. Lack of Inventory accountability. Shipping label being created for five work days without actual shipping; then discovering they didn't have the model that I purchased. No link on Shipping confirmation to Shipment, finally attempting to cancel order no response from Hana Modz and shockingly getting an incomplete item from them the same day on a totally different Tracking number.
Thank goodness I'm mechanically inclined so fixing the issue with the necessary parts wasn't a big problem. But that isn't what you paid for a DIY Project for one; two If that is how you start a purchase you have to know that they aren't prepared to stand behind the sale. So they state a 6 month Warranty but is there really one at all.
Signs of a Business going South IMHO.;)
In hindsight I made a better purchase in my Sigelei Mini (40W/TC) small size and simple interchangeable batteries and $34 not $59. Jus sayin:w00t:

WOW! This thread got BUSY after I left! Lemme try and catch up with evr'body! *takes deeeeeep breath*

That's quite the story! I'm very sorry about your wife.

Thank ya, DH. Much appreciated. Not sure how interesting of a story it is, but... that's my life. For better or for worse, right? It's been quite the struggle, but somehow I feel that it is making me a better person and a better husband. Only way I can reconcile is to try to find some kind of good in it.

good to see ya on BOTH porches! Uhmmm......is today your birthday?????

It sounds really good, I am missing all but 1 or 2 of those  and none of mine are TFA.

don't know ya well, but gonna hug ya anyhow (((((((((((kaezz))))))))))) I'm so sorry to hear that!! You'll find a lot of support and prayers here too.

Thanks Deb! Yep, 3mg Meniere is a sweetheart... she pointed me in this direction so I figured I oughta drop by, then she pointed out the Back Porch, so I wandered over there too! And yeah, yesterday was my B-day... finally turned the corner and woke up 40 years old... really don't feel much different though... ;)

Yeah, the VX10 is a decent juice. I don't think it's my best work, but I'm liking the change-up. TFA is really the only concentrates I use. I tried Totally Wicked's concentrates yeaaaarrs ago with very little success. Then I found the TFA thread and have been quite pleased with most of the results. I'm sure you could find acceptable substitutes in other manufacturers though.

Awwww... {{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}} Thank ya! I'm an equal opportunity hugger... I've never been very shy about hugging people that I don't even know. Get some strange reactions at the grocery store from time to time... We're hanging in there and getting through it together. I have to admit that she is absolutely the strongest person I have ever known in my life... I don't think I could go through the things she's gone through in her life. There is definitely a reason that I love her so much!

Hey Kaezziel! I've seen you on another forum or 2. Welcome to The Porches! I'm late with a greeting, I know. Started seeing quotes I didn't recognize & knew I'd missed some posts. Like 3 pages worth!

Heya Luv! Yeah, I know you're in the TFA thread quite a bit... a few others I've been in as well. Thanks for the welcome! LOL, and yeah, tell me about it. I came in this morning and went through about 7 pages before I finally caught back up to the end!

Have you tried it yet, or letting it age?

The VX10? Shake and Vape... I'm sure it would probably benefit from a good aging, but I'm liking it pretty well as it is. I'll have to mix up a larger batch soon and let some of it age for a bit... I'll prolly update on that in the TFA thread once I do.

Your wife has my full sympathy. I had a colon disaster 5 years ago. Wasn't cancer but was enough to know anything related is zero fun & takes some getting over. Hugs to ((((wifey))))!

Thank you! Ugh, I know exactly what you mean. Pretty much anything having to do with the colon is just very difficult to deal with. She ended up having to have a large portion removed and ended up with a permanent colostomy. She handled that MUCH better than I think I would have. That was one BRUTAL surgery. She was on the operating table for about 13 hours, and they cut her from the Solar Plexus to well below the belly button. And she ended up with a wound that we had to take care of for over a year. Then a dual lung thorascopic surgery to remove a tumor from each lung. Now the tumors are back in the right lung and she's on chemo again. All because the colon cancer metastasized and spread to her lungs... she never smoked a day in her life. She's in good spirits, but I'm pretty sure that I'd be completely angry at the world if I were in her shoes! Thanks for the love and sympathy! I'll pass on the hugs to her for ya! :)

Kaezziel, I'm very sorry sorry to hear about your wife, can't imagine how tough it's been.

Thank ya, FT! I'm sure that you can tell from the other stuff I've written that it's been a pretty rough road, but she still amazes me every day in how she handles it. She truly walks this path with a grace that completely astounds me. I could only hope to weather it half as well as she has. :)

Truer words were never spoken, brother! Thank you for that wonderful reminder of how great life can be. We should be in the 70s here today as well, and currently have bright blue skies with just a wispy hint of clouds blowing across... definitely a beautiful day to be enjoyed and appreciated!

Will do Kenna, I will definitely be sending them off a email with pictures to show what they sent me. I'd hate to see them go away because there Mod form is quite nice and great for a Stealth Mod.
