@Myrany Make sure your vtc has at least v3.0 firmware 3.01 is better because it allows you to go up or down on the wattage when in temp mode and they are really easy to update. 3.0 gives you Ni Ti SS316 and manual TCR. 3.01 gives you the other ability plus the mode to use a ceramic atty I think. It is worthless to me but it is really nice to be able to go up or down on the wattage instead of having to round robin because the accelerator is so fast it is easy to miss the target then you have to go all the way around again.

Not 100% sure I understand how to set anything on this gadget. She sent some Ni premade coils with it for the subtank so I stuck one of those in there. Somehow I have it set at 460F and 40 watts. Not really sure how I got it set since I just kinda poked at buttons until I got it right.

Will be ordering some TEMCO Ti asap. I don't like being dependent on premade coils.

yeah that's the coil master 521 about 50.00 from Cm but cheaper elsewhere. Still a lot though. But so often I've wished I could pulse after metering before attaching to the atty

Cool gadget ... I looked at the specs and 'speed-viewed' the review vid of it. The spec's said:

• Resistance rate: As low to 0.2 ohm

What does that mean? I though maybe the lowest it would fire, but in the review vid I watched he was firing a .14Ω dual coil setup.

Well according to "vaping god" Busardo the Burning Tab is better. I don't know I just use my SX reads to the thousandth of an ohm. Whether it is accurate don't know. I just don't worry about it you don't need to with TC except with nickel some mods won't go below .1 ohm which is really high for nickel when I was using it I usually built about .08 but the SX is good down to .05. Nickel is a PITA.

@Myrany when you build your coil use your Kuro coiler seems like I remember you saying you have that or the coilmaster is better and if you are going to use an STM make your first coil 5 wraps once you get used to that then go to 6, wrap a contact coil and stretch it on the coiler then squish it back together. I take it you are going to use 26 guage. When you place it make sure the legs aren't touching the coil. 5 is easier to place then 6 but once you get used to that go to 6 better vape. Let it set before you put it on your VTC, it's amazing how much the resistance changes just from the heat of your hands. I usually put it on the mod before I wick it and just hit it a couple times at 25w 440F a little wisp of smoke will come off then let it cool and wick it and fill it up. It might just keep the resistance it sets when you pre heat it but if it says new coil up same coil down push new coil. That's the one thing I don't like about the Jtech but don't lock your resistance and when you fill it again use same coil. You'll get the hang of it after a tank or 2 I usually start out about 450 when it is new and work my way up and don't pay any attention to the temp protect thats just the way it adjusts the temp.

Yes it had a little book with it. Just found it really difficult to read and most of it seemed to be on setup and not so much on use. Print in that thing is horrible small.

Thanks legs that makes sense. Yeah seeing that temp protect coming up all the time was worrying me. I think I have the coilmaster gizmo. one handle, 6 rods, three top pieces

I agree! Some of these manuals are so hard to read with itty bitty print. Hope the downloadable one helps!

Yep I just promised the lady that sent me the stuff that I would give TC a fair shot. Shes gone out of her comfort zone while I was teaching her the inns and outs of vaping in general many times. Only fair I do the same now shes the teacher.

What I am finding at least with this premade coil/head there is ZERO TH. I am saying that as someone that vapes very low MG nic. Running 3 times my usual amount of nic and getting nothing. That will take some getting used to. I am hoping building my own coils for it I can find something more satisfying.

dunno. I do remember that being mentioned in a video I watched a long time ago, but don't recall what they said. It mighta been this one, but I'm not sure
