Sally ate the ears three days before. Daughter thought she had won this year. Not to be.
Can't read it! All blurry!

$36.64 Authentic Cloupor Mini Plus 50W TC Temperature Control VW Variable Wattage APV Box Mod - 0.5-7V / 1-50W / 1*18650 / stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
I've had this Cloupor now for over 3 months and it uses 18650's BTW. It's been flawless. Haven't been interested enough to try TC yet, though. The only crab I've had is since it is has a small form factor it is more prone to falling over. Other than that been a good $37 mod. BTW, I chain vape so it has gotten a workout in my 3 months using it.
It that a springloaded 510? The link Gary gave for the 30w shows adjustable. I rather have springloaded.

@Semiretired, if your heart isn't set on a box, perhaps look at the ProVari P2.5 blems. At $29.95, you can't beat it! I've dropped them while driving a golf cart, from a counter top, from my purse ... You name it and my ProVaris have experienced it. Never a problem. The one caveat is I'm a tootle puffer. The 2.5 doesn't do sub ohm.

That's an excellent idea! Semi doesn't sub ohm either and those would likely be much more rugged than many others

But it's only about $13. $12.95? Might be perfect for him. At those prices he could gat 2! LOL (I did not get one. Saving for Geordi's 2 yr health clearance tests.)

Speaking of Geordi, tomorrow is a special day! But I think I am in the wrong porch..

Great suggestion LB ... they're dang near indestructible.

Well the full size will take an 18490. And I think that's a better overall size for the tube. An 18650 Provari is pretty long tube.

I like the size of the 18350 Mini's but the batt life sucks. Only use them around the house.

Where did you get those holders?

I contacted Amanda at J-Wraps and asked if they could make a dual Radius holder. She said, no problem. Cost was same as for one of the standard Radius holders w/ 1 radius and 1 or 2 tubes. Only took a week to get them. I wonder if they've listed the dual Radius now that they made a couple for me.

Yabutt I think hee sez he likes the 18650 for longevity and not being able to charge the box mods that well.
But yeah, not a provari fan but they are built like a tank. Since he doesn't change V often should werk for him. My problem is I change quite often and they have a PITA menu system. YMMV

The P3 and Radius have a much improved system for changes volts/watts. Just a button click away ... if and only if you're willing and able to pay the premium.

I'm not. :) Most other mods today do the same thing. Only got the provari since I heard so much good tings about em. And got two in the classies and one of those $25 specials. Color me... not impressed. :)

P3 and Radius will use flat tops. OK I'll shut up now before I'm labeled a Provari Fanboy. Yes ... I like them ... but yes there's other really good mods too. And a lot cost a lot less.
