Probably wicking. 99% of the time its wicking. The other 1% is it needs better orings.
Edit: Take the rebuild deck off. Clean and totally dry the base inside and out. REwick it with more wicking in front of the side holes. Put it all back together and see if it restarts the airhole seep dance. If it does it probably needs orings.
The new Desert Rain is a really good flavor that we make. It is a prickly pear juice. We also have Lemon Meringue pie which is also another great flavor.

There is a lot of good information in the first several posts. JeremyR pretty much just pulled everything together that we had learned in the first thread. Myrany is right, it's likely a wicking issue. I tend to pack the coil pretty tight, cut out about 75% of the tail density, and then lay the rest of the tails right in the juice channels on my builds. I don't have an STM, but it seems to me that most tanks are pretty similar as far as wicking goes. If that doesn't help, you can post some pics and I can help you from there... or just post in the rayon thread. They are SUPER helpful and friendly over there. JeremyR (and the rest of the Rayonati) keeps a pretty close eye on it.
Thanks everyone! I suspected wicking or orings. I am not home right now to be able to really take it apart but as soon as I get home next week I will. I will also check the rayon thread. I have read a little there but not for a long time. Better go do some reading! I use rayon in my Kayfuns and never have a leaking issue but this being my first STM, thought I would ask. Great advice! Including the coil too low, @Kenna !

The reason I ask if it's the new type with the holes in the sides there is supposed to be a tiny little Oring that the chimney fits over when it is all the way down. The other thing is if the rayon is filling up the holes in the sides. I have never had a problem with an STM leaking except one I chipped the glass on. Mine are all Kanger but still made in China. The other thing I have done is to forget to put the top cap on the chimney but you would know that right away. That Oring is hard to see it is really tiny and on mine clear. There also is supposed to be a tiny Oring in the top cap of the chimney. Not even sure if that is changable.
The RBA base does have holes in the sides. I will check for orings. You have all, once again, helped me understand what to look for. I will report back next week when I can work on this. I have plenty of other toppers with me so not using this one for now is not a problem.
It's a milestone for sure. Never in my wildest hallucinations did I picture me either not smoking or certainly not without the biggest, baddest PV on the market at any given time. I have a whole room dedicated to ecig maintaining, rebuilding and general care with a dining room table covered with coilers, a flavor tackle box, PG & VG bottles, syringes, ohm testers, spools of wire, a torch, battery chargers you name it......it's there. With all of this equipment available what do I do?????? Buy juice and replacement coils. Makes no sense.
Yep ... it does sort of make sense ... at least to me. I used to spend quite a bit of time fiddling and trying this and that. Now-a-days I try to keep it as simple as possible. Same tanks and builds for both Janet and me. Re-wick every couple weeks ... recoil every few months. If I found a non-rebuildable that satisfied me I'd likely be buying replacement heads and even stop rebuilding.
Yep ... the Radius is our go to PV's. We both have 2 of 'em. Janet uses KFL-Lites. She likes the tighter draw. I use KFLV4's. I like the looser draw. Our collection of tube Provari's get little use. We each have iStick 50's and 40's. These are backups when we travel ... then we don't have to carry spare batts because everything is USB chargable. I have an Anker charging brick w/ 6 slots. It will charge our phones, tablets, and PV's.
I tried Classy's Kabuki at the Odyssey. It vapes nice, maybe not a quantum difference from a Nauty. But I sure do like the looks of it better than a Nauty. And on a tube Provari, it doesn't add that much to the overall length. If I had one, I'd use it on a tube Provari. I don't mind that it only holds 2ml of juice. But yikes, $90 for that tank is a bunch of money.
I know about the prices Busardo's favorite right now is the Hurricane and I know an authentic is over $100
A few Nautilus hints & tips, not usually covered in reviews. Hope this helps present and future Naughty users...
Prime the coil with a couple/several joose drops inside to saturate the wick. I also dab the four coil intake ports to accelerate saturation. Wait a couple of minutes prior to vaping.
Note, the coil is secured within the base. And then the tank/hardware is screwed onto the coil top.
Install the coil into the base finger tight (not snug, see next). Mount the tank/hardware snug (not tight) on the base. This will prevent the coil from being removed with the tank when refilling. The base 'flex gasket' is to prevent leakage. No need to torque the tank down hard. As long as there is no leakage/spillage, you're good to go.
Ensure thread alignment for both the coil-in-base and tank-on-coil to prevent 'cross threading'!
Ensure the threaded glass tank top is secure within the tank cap. I've yet to find a need to remove the tank from the cap; ergo no tank in diagram.
Any time the tank needs to be removed from the base (tank refill, coil replacement, cleansing), invert assembly prior to disassembly. Be sure grasp the knurled base ring while turning the tank, not cap, CCW.
Cleaning (as indicated in diagram), I use Q-Tips; others have used pipe cleaners or paper towels/napkins. IMHO, not as effective.
This all may sound complicated/convoluted. But once you have the unit in your hands, hopefully my 'mud' will become your enjoyable/reliable vape.
Please, if anyone has questions or additional tips, don't hesitate to ask or contribute!
