Yep I been to the new vapers forum a couple of times and I try to explain what a good system to start out on and there is always someone there who is saying oh no your wrong he needs to get a Mech and a subohm double coil dripper. I gave up.

I used to hang out in the new person threads and try to help. Then something happened there I never quite put my finger on and it seemed like those that were actually trying to help got ROFLStomped and sent packing. What was left was not a very welcoming place for the new. Now I rarely venture in there.
As someone who Subohms a dual coil dripper on a REO even I think that is a bad place for the new to start.

glad you've found us. Unfortunately, some areas on ECF do deserve that reputation, but here on the porches we've got nice friendly patient people!
ok had a happy DIY accident. I was trying to make a bottle of my Forrest Fruit that is usually one of my all day vapes (that's a Flavor Art flavor). Somehow or other I ended up MIXING the Forrest Fruit that was left in the bottle with the pomegranate flavor (also FA) that I grabbed by accident. OMG this is actually pretty good. Which is wonderful because that pomegranate flavoring I REALLY did not like at all stand alone. I may actually end up using that pomegranate instead of pitching it like I was thinking of.

I picked up the flavor to try and duplicate the NJoy pomegranate that I actually like that is both too strong and too expensive. In actual taste though it is not even close.
I think the trick to the Flavor Art Pomegranate flavor might be that it really needs mixed with something else. Alone I am not really sure what it tastes like but it is not Pomegranate, mixed it becomes more fruity and less medicinal(for lack of a better word).
I am moving more fruits into my lineup. I recently introduced TFA pom alone, and am happy with it. Might mix it with something later, but at this point haven't decided what.
Have you ever had watermelon that tasted like or close to the real thing? I've seen one called snake oil, claims watermelon and mint. Or do all the fruits test like confectionary flavours? Just have a yen...
Never tried watermelon. Pomegranate, Green apple, nectarine, strawberry, pineapple, mango, blueberry. I might buy some cranberry next time around. Mixing, I get spiced cider, yogurt and cream mixes, pina colada, and strawberry absinthe. The strawberry has too much sweetener, and turns into a coil crudder, thinking of using another fruit with the absinthe.
I think that confectionary quality comes from the fact that most of the flavor we use in eliquids are food flavorings. Some are more like the real fruit than others but at the end of the day it IS the same stuff they use to flavor confections.
I myself find MOST of the flavor Art brand flavorings to be a bit closer to the real fruit. Big BUT taste is a very individual thing and unfortunately that means it is darn difficult for any of us to recommend anything beyond "I like _____"
I know what you mean what I got upset about was he said everyone and that is not true I follow two threads on here everyday and really enjoy reading them check in two or three times a day. Really just wanted everyone on here to know how grateful I am.

Jup. The porches contain strange peeplez! The only place where there is rarely a difference of opinion. Simply because it's one of the few places that folks realize everyone is different. What works for one, won't work for another. And itz all good.
I can't remember which of the guys does temp control and knows about the sx350j board, but there's a guy here that needs some ideas on how to get his mod out of temp control, Sx 350j stuck in temp mode
