My only question is how long will a dripping atty last? I have no way to estimate that.
forever unless sumpthin goes wrong, stripped screw, or what I think happened to my odin is that the insulator cracked or something. Not sure really. But yeah no way of knowing how long til something does go wrong, but typically they're easy fixes I think if you have the parts and know how. (which I don't of course) Not sure about the stripped screws though.

I just can't quite yet wrap my head around what I need to buy to feel safe if the worst parts of these regulations hold up. I know Nic is a biggie, but I'm not sure how much I need. And, a litre of 100mg nic at Nude Nic is $105. That hurts.
well it's been covered about the nic, so I'll just say, don't panic, we'll get you there.

Woohoo. Thanks for that. They only have white and rose gold, but for five bucks, who cares about color?

Also, 101 Vapes is having a sale on LG HG2 batteries. Just $12 for a pair.

LG Brown HG2 INR18650 3000mah 18650 Battery (pair) - 101 Vape
Just an FYI with the emergence of fake hg2's Mooch is now recommending Samsung 30Q's. He says they're just about the same as the hg 2's in performance and safety. However, some have recently bought from 101 and the hg's do have the textured white ring rather than glossy, but he said the only way to really tell is to run them over 50 watts, and if they perform really badly, they're fakes. I've never run anything over 50 watts, so I'll hope that mine from orbtronic that I just got are real since they have the textured insulator ring

Yup. Nicotine first. Hardware second. Get your .... moving!
that was the plan, it just didn't happen that way. Jup wish I could get my .... moving! $400.00 stands between me and vaping the rest of my life. I'm working on it, it's just slowwwwwwww going.

OK now I see its 65 in glass 50 in plastic.
Jup but you can buy a glass 1 liter bottle for 5.00 and transfer it to glass.

I bought for $37.63 shipped last night.
Inquiring minds wanna know how ya did dat please!

Just in case worse comes to worse
HOW TO: Build the NicoStick

A long time ago when I heard about potential deeming I stocked up on 510 connectors and pulled them off old dead ego batteries since.

I would hate having to do it but I could probably manage this build.

It is toppers I have never really worked out beyond I know how to turn a cigalike carto into a dripper but it is not a happy place to be.
You know mpre than I do.

Kenna I heard about the potential deeming one week after I started vaping and hit the panic button immediately. Once I calmed down I started a systematic process of getting myself ready for it. It was a conscious decision on my part.

I have spent the better part of the last 3 years hunting down information on how to DIY hardware and Liquid and stockpiling what I hope are devices that will last.

There is a ton of info out there on DIY liquid and even DIY mods. Dang near nothing on making an atty from scratch. What I found was an obscure video on how to take apart a Blu cartridge and make a dripper out of it. I tried it. It works. Not happily but it does work.

I have taken a considerable amount of crap from people on ECF over the years for being a vapocalypse prepper. That has mostly driven me to stick to the porches rather than venture into other areas of the site much. As a consequence I may be behind on what info is out there now.

Myrany, I was one of the naive folks who thought this wouldn't happen. In truth, I still can't wrap my head around it; believing that our government would rather I die is a bit hard to accept. Anyway, it was folks like you and many other wonderful Porchers who convinced me to prepare. I am so very grateful.

Random thought to start my day.
I wish I was more surprised about the fact that in the past 24 hours, there have been more posts to the CASAA facebook page than in the past 2 years.

It seems that no one was aware that the deeming regulations were going to happen?

I think it was more like what LittleBird said. Many people just honestly did not believe the government would do this.

It may not have looked like it, by my plan is nearly completed. Economically, with similar equipment throughout so parts are interchangeable. I may even keep my Orchid bases. Nic ordered close to the cut-off date, since if I miss that date, I can always go back to 0mg.

Yep having a plan is everything.

I am at the spare parts and extra backups stage myself. I could probably make it on what I have now. I just keep thinking I am only 51 if everything goes completely wrong I could conceivably have to make what I have last 30-40 years. How do you prep for that long a time.

You done good Myrany. Janet and I have been prepping for close to 2 years. First we concentrated on nic, then the h/w. I feel pretty well set although more nic could never hurt.

About the only think on my current 'may get list' is 2 more Kabuki's. We're both trying them out currently and if we like them enough then maybe 2 more. They only hold about 2 mls which is OK by us as we both think the Nauty's are 'big' an don't use ours much at all. Mainly looking at the Kabuki's if'n a time comes and we can't rebuilt for whatever reason. Have a large stash of Nauty heads and looking to get some more in a pending co-op.

Random thought to start my day.

I 'think' we 'think' most vapers are aware because of hanging here at ECF so much. But there are a lot of vapers that don't follow vaping as closely as we do. My barber is one of them, been vaping for almost a year but had not idea what just came down. He has a decent setup that works for him and vaping is more like smoking w/ respect to get some juice, get some coil heads, go about is normal life and not follow the vaping scene itself.

Mike you bring up a good point. Probably a huge segment of vapers buy their vape pens and juice at walgreens (or some similar place)and are happily vaping away in oblivious bliss. Never dreaming that the government is about to destroy the industry.

Thought I'd stick my nose in and see how you all are doing. I did my annual stock up last week, ironically just a few days before the announcement. Couple gallons of pg/vg, an extra liter of 100, flavoring, new provari classic, fresh batteries and another charger. I inventoried my mod and topper boxes and feel I could last longer than my nic.

Been talking to other vapers, few of them seem to know what happened and they are reliant on stores for coils and juice. Thanks to this site I have been DIY for juice and coils for over 2 years.

Good to see you guys too. Just chugging along, no drama. Been peeking in from time to time just haven't been posting much. Funny thing is the last purchase was just a resupply run. If I decide to 'stock up' it will probably get ridiculous ... lol.

Likewise. Been building my stash for nearly that long as well.

Regarding hardware, while knowing the Pthingys are solid, I never liked the one button interface. (Yes, the Radius addresses that - but too late for me!) So, after finding other devices that I liked, I've laid in multiples of them.

About 2 dozen KFs, various models....

In both cases, the drive for 10KWatt has produced some wonderful sale prices that made it (relatively) easy!

Being a tootle-puffer, I don't go through a lot of liquid, and have 5 liters of 100 on ice.

But the head in the sand syndrome IS rampant. While we did beat back State regs (again) here in WA due to mobilization, even after that there are many who don't have a clue...

I think many of us knew deeming was coming, but didn't expect so draconian an outcome. I'm now prepared for the worst - or nearly so - but will continue to fight for changes to these horrific regs. Just this one time, I'm hoping you *can* fix stupid. o_O

As I said in the other porch

Pthingys are the cadillac and my REOs are the Bicycle...both will get you there but long term the bicycle is easier to get fixed.

Everyone has to find what works for THEM. What that is, is far less important than that it works for you and is sustainable.

I did the same thing. I've stock piled Kayfuns & parts, I have about 5 drippers, even tho I hate dripping. I have a few usb charging mods that I only use for out & about so I need to get more of those, & I have my Hex Ohm mods which have lifetime warranties & can converted to mechs if have to. I already diy, & have nic stored. I'm just going to continue gathering until forced to stop.
