Didn't care for the cheeks. Man on my trip to Kodiak we went down to visit a guy on his boat and went out to his halibut lines and grabbed a young one and went back in and he cooked them up with eggs for breakfast. Man that was eating for me. Loved it.
It is at 3 am in the middle of january and yer walkin.
Been there done that. Caught some extra duty in Jan and ended up hitchhiking home from the base to Delta Jct. Luckily the Army had given us good cold weather gear it was about 30 below and walked through one place with Bison on both sides of the road. Just put my head down and walked quietly quickly but quietly. True story. The fur on my hood was all iced up.

Well, it's hard to say how much actually came off my 100-105lb. and 25lb. halibuts, but it was a huge amount of the total weight caught. The 3 of us caught the fish on the right of the red line in the first photo below (my 25lb halibut is hanging behind my big one, and is barely visible). All of what we caught was divided up evenly by the processor into (3) 50lb. boxes (including the box and styrafoam cooler weight). So each has approx. 48lbs. of fish in it. Plus I have another smaller box with about 10-12lbs. of just halibut in it.

Here's pics below. First is of all fish the 5 on the trip caught, with what the 3 of us caught being on the right of the red line. Second one is me with my hand on my big one!
Awesome! So much fun (& work) right there!

Have you ever rebuilt a regular Aspire BVC (the non-nautilus BVC)?

I have a Billet Box and Billet Bridge. So, it would be nice if the non-nautilus BVCs might happen to be halfway easy to rebuild.

I picked up an Aspire tank (ETS I think) with some of the small BVC heads somewhere. I took one apart and I don't think it could be rebuilt, st least not by me. Just not enough room. I've done regular Nauti coils and they are quite hard. The small ones would be off the wall hard. I searched on youtube and elsewhere and didn't see where anyone had tried it.

Got a few older heads with the tank too, horizontal coil type. Might be possible to do them like people do with old Nauti coils, with a single coil.

Saw a comment somewhere, not on ECF, that there was a way of using Protank coils in those Aspire tanks. Haven't tried it yet. They do screw into the base OK. And I think it required using more than one of the silicone cups that go over the chimney.

I'm going to give it a shot when the coils I got with the tank run out.

This KF V5 I would recommend to anyone who likes a slightly airy flavorful vape. I love it, it's definately not one I would sell. It vapes so well and has such a good flavor it is amazing. Perfect for the way I like to vape and with a SS coil shouldn't have to rebuild for at least 2 months. It is just what I was hoping for a happy medium between the STM and the new atty's out there with the big air and big coil. Like an STM on steroids. For me best KF ever.

Oh and keep a bottle of juice handy because it really goes through it. Also I forgot how this SS is seems like it takes about 5 or 6 tanks with a higher power but now it is vaping at a normal range hitting temp very quickly. I am a SS convert at least until I have to start using my JT mods. Think I've decided on 1 more Q class not for the power but for the battery life plus I have heard it is the smallest dual 18650 there is. Fantastic combo with the KF. Going to order a Blue one. If this deeming ever becomes a reality just hope they last a long time. But if I have to last on my list of spares are my Provari's and Kanthal. Which will be better then trying to quit. Still a good vape. Actually though SS works fine on a Provari or a JT in Power mode and has a better flavor then Kanthal but with the Provari would have to build a 1+ ohm coil which could be a pain.

Please post your results! I have a LOT of Protank coils that I would love to be able to use with other tanks. And I shop the clearance sections where Aspire tanks show up on occasion.

I think it's time to cut your nic level down. :D
Aww just the words of my hero Donald John Trump. I wonder if he said that the way he said it to sound like Honest John Trump. What a laugh. Don't know if you saw that speech. It was how Hillary wanted to take away your 2nd Amendment rights but Donald John Trump will fight for them. Yuk Yuk. And he emphasized John.

A Billion Lives is now on IMDB with a 9.5 out of 10 rating!

If you love it, please give us a 10. Hollywood is watching & the haters are coming...

I saw a vid of someone rebuilding these long time ago. I'd never try it. Even if I used em, which I don't anymore. might still have a box or two, but they might just be naughty boxes, not sure. The hardest part of rebuilding it was getting it apart, and putting the ceramic wrap back around it. And of course you had to reuse that, cuz I've seen a lot of folks searching for it, but have never seen anyone come up with the right stuff. But getting it in there was really a pain.

Here's pics below. First is of all fish the 5 on the trip caught, with what the 3 of us caught being on the right of the red line. Second one is me with my hand on my big one!
Great pics!! never had fish cheeks, but have heard that at least with some fish, it's the best part. Halibut has always been my favorite fish! my dad used to get it sometimes when I was a kid.
