Thanks, 3mg. I really don't want to limit power to 5 amps. I'm running dual coils that ohm out at .49. My batteries are rated for a good bit more. I have one, though, and will try it to see whether a 5mm addition is too much or just right.

Thanks, Gary. I vaguely recall someone talking about using a thin magnet. Have you heard of that?
Not advised since it interferes with protections.

I suppose they're just trying to make the limited stock available to more peeps. Do you know for sure if they have a 'ton' of 'em?
Oh I understand the reasoning, don't know if they have a ton but anyone who was going to order them would have done so in the last week. They are out of stock on the glass, they are servicing their European vendors first. Which also doesn't seem right. They are getting a lot more parts for the V3. I'd actually like to see a good type of plastic tank come out. Too much glass on these V5's would like to see some retro fitted parts come out. Something like half SS half glass on the bottom. These SS tanks are ugly IMO.

Got it. No magnet! The negative side on this mod doesn't have a spring, either. The battery just drops into the tube opening, and rests on a fairly flat surface. I thought about dropping in a REO gold spring ... Yes? No?
I would say... no. But don't really know what the inside of that mod looks like.

It's a mech, Gary. It looks like two side by side empty tubes: one for the battery; the other for the juice bottle. The end cap is fastened down with set screws. Atty is over the squonk bottle and fire button is over the battery. The mod itself is made of 6068 billet aluminum. I can't post a photo of the inside. Tom (TBev) asked us not to, as his design is proprietary, and I want to respect that.

Newp! I'm a confirmed dog person!

:( ...... I have a dog, even though it is a young pup and a pain in the a*s ( Labrador )..... I like most animals, but then again, I am just an overgrown sap ...... I have eight cats as well ......... Yes, cats are way different from dogs and it takes lots to understand them......... But I love my cats and my dog.... I will continue to work on you (and pray for you) in hopes you will give cats a try :w00t:

The more I find out about Svoe Mesto the less I would want to buy another authentic. Seems like a manufacturer would take care of the places buying the most but that is not the case in this situation.
The owner of Creme de Vape (UK) has posted several times in the authentics thread. She said that SVM released the actual atty in Europe first, to beat their deeming equivalent date. They then released elsewhere. She also said that SVM is working all out to manufacture and ship component parts - but they are having difficulty keeping up with demand, all over the world.

While I think they should've instructed their authorized dealers to give a MTL kit to purchasers (as they did, with the faulty K3 mini insulators), they didn't do that. But, it isn't SVM's fault that dealers are limiting customer purchases. That's the dealers' decision.

Not a problem. The dogs love cats. Especially as a snack between meals.

lol .... depends upon the type of dog but yes, usually the cat gets used as a snack.... I have however seen a time or two where a cat thrashes a small dog..... I assume though that you are referring to a larger type dog, such as what is in your avatar which would spell disaster for most cats...err domesticated cats...... On the other hand, a dog would not be much of a match for a cat such as a mountain lion..... I love cats even the ones that are not domesticated.....yes, I am weird I know :)

Yuk. I just got to complain to someone. I went out today on a trip that involved 2 hours driving. Only took one mod, with a new battery and a full tank. Trouble was I had messed up the wick. It started spitting hot juice on my tongue almost as soon as I left home and did it nonstop the whole trip. By the end it felt like having hot needles jabbed into the end of my tongue.

I did try not vaping for a while. But after a bit of experimentation I came to the conclusion that hot needles in the tongue was a little less bad than not vaping. Normally I could handle taking a break, but when I'm driving I'm a vaping maniac.

It was a good lesson though. Always take 2 setups when you go out.

yuck, sorry that happened. I am bad about just grabbing one as well and going wherever I need to go. Luckily my Reos have never let me down, but one day it'll likely bite me in the hiney. Glad you're home and have something good to vape
