I have a feeling that that thought is in the back of quite a few heads...

PA being crazy and extremely greedy. it makes bootleg/black market look feasible. it makes road trips out of nearest state more appealing. and i think it will in the end flop,, how funny would it be that the PA govt got nearly nothing in vape taxes because they over taxed and chased consumers underground/out of state. looks like everyone in office now,, is on their last term........gotta be a lot of corruption and pork belly spending in PA.

Sweet! According to this new law I can go to jail or pay hefty fine for gear and nic I bought before the law went into effect. I must be able to furnish proof I bought 'it' from a licensed PA vendor who paid the 'wholesale' tax. If I can't I'm guilty.

And if I buy on-line or go across a state line an purchase from a B&M and bring it into PA - I'm breaking the law and can be subject to fines and/or jail time.

receipts have 'value' too,,,,,,,,look for the avg 'i dont care' consumer coming out of the vape stores and ask to have their receipt,, or offer to buy it. (trust me this works..i knew some people who did this prior to getting on their international flights.. tax back)

I tried Lucky Shot as a stand alone when I got it a month ago & wasn't impressed. Itvs been sitting gor a month so, taking a chance on steeping, I just added it to the last of the Lotta Latte in a tank. The LS smells better than it did. Gonna try it.

I add a little whip cream or salted caramel to the lucky shot, I mix it at 6% LS and 2% whip cream or salted caramel, I also add whip cream to the strawberry milk. Almost all of my mixes are one or two flavor combinations, never have mastered the more complex mixes and got tired of throwing it away.

In fact, I mixed an green apple pie recipe da udder day. Whoa! Finally determined dat I was using Vaping Zone Gourmet (.5-1.5%) flavs instead of their normal VZ Concentrate (2-5%). Patooie, patooie, spit, spit...

Diluting wid base (nic/PG/VG) made it tolerable.

I put up a new BD post today. You've gotten three out me this year for one BD.

Back is fine, it's all the bruises everywhere else that are killing me from the crash/burns. Thinking of just getting a hamster next time.

I think the biggest issue with litter boxes and chemo is largely due to the bacteria that collects there. The chemo lowers one's immune system, so exposure to that level of bacteria can cause someone with a compromised immune system to get dangerously ill. Then it becomes very difficult to get rid of the illness.

That makes sense. I forgot that about chemo.

- That said, people are still buying stuff that they need, want, or that is shiny.
- They're also buying nic. Still. But not synthetic. Although there's been some conversation about it. But peeps aren't sure...

- Mike and Janet just left to see daughter and son in law, and to be there for the birth of their new grand baby. This is the best news!

the Pico is a little shorter (well, the battery cap makes it about the same height), but it is wider and heavier. I do love mine, though!

i mixed the strawberry milk at 15%,, and added a tad of Cap sugar cookie.. it was ok,, nothing bad,, nothing awesome.

It's insane. If what they are saying, well, really, I can't say that on here. Can you imaging getting pulled over and the officer asks to see your receipt for you mod? I feel terrible for you guys.

@MikeE3, I think they can't retro the tax. The proper tax was paid as due on purchase. Crazy as this may sound, perhaps inventory your stuff on paper, sign & date the inventory, and have it notarized. Worst case scenario, you have the list as proof of purchase prior to the effective date of the new bullhooey regs. Just a thought...

Well, we're at a point where PV's and atty's have been purchased and stockpiled for the FDA Damning. And we have enough nic for 9+ years in the freezer. So we're not personally in a bind but I feel bad for others, those that just started, and mostly for those that won't have a chance to start. And I'm angry as hell with our governor and state reps and senators. They've signed a death knoll for not only the vape shops but for real honest to goodness 'people'. People who won't get the chance to get of the cigs. That's what I'm really angry about. For what 13 million dollars (which they won't get when all the shops close down). 13 mill is pocket change in the grand scheme of the budget. They could reclaim it easy, if they cut the fat from the budget.

Might not be a bad idea. It really sucks that the vape shops have to pay 'immediately' the 40% tax on their current inventory. WTFs with that. That sounds like a 'retro' tax to this layman.

DH is in San Antonio working a dog show. He texted me this sign in the men's room this afternoon.

wish you were there with him and y'all had time for a side trip. Also wish I could get up there and see the show! The pain clinic I went to yesterday had exactly the same sign!

Trying to kill off at least 25 bottles of premixed. All different kinds of e-liquid. Tonight, I'm going through all the samplers in two Five Pawn Sampler "kits." They're 4oz ea, 12mg/ml and I'm just knocking them off.

Then I have a 20ml bottle of Pink Lemonade, Element E-liquid that I initially bought as part of a 120ml flask(3mg/ml), added Nude Nicotine to it to bring it up to 12/mg/ml.

Mixing it up!

Want to get rid of all my premixed before I embark on 100% DIY.

Just a thought.....but you might wanna keep some of your premixed that you really like until you get well settled into DIY. Kinda depends on how picky your tastey buds are. Mine aren't that picky, so I did well with DIY. 1.5 yrs into and I've only made 3 things I really didn't like, and 2 of those involved chocolate. Love to eat it, but apparently don't like to vape it. It could take you a bit to settle into what you like, and if that happens, at least you'd still have good juice to vape. I think I welcomed you to the porch before, but just wanna make sure.........welcome!!! Think I saw ya on the BP also, but if not, hope you'll head over there too.

ditto,,,i am also a bit confused on what to mix with the flavors,,(raspberry slush (??),, cinnabon roll (?) and something else ??) i tried them at 10% they were ok,, but need an accent note of something. i was actually planning on mixing with them this weekend,, i have a lot of FA flavors- they are hit and miss and seem 'flat',, i really like Cap, TFA and IW

Everyone seems to have the same flavorings......where did all these come from? I didn't catch up from the week I was gone, so if it was talked about then, I missed it.

Then Janet told me she started getting it at home the day before we left. I'm going to will myself healthy ... ain't putting up w/ this.

Yeah, through the air. Can you imagine everyone walking around with their hair always standing up on end. Vitalis would have been the company to buy stock in if it had taken off...

Holy Crap ... Flamingotutu was right and I was wrong. Pennsylvania vape shops are doomed. Our Democratic gubner is tax happy. He already raised gasoline tax using the justification that oil prices had come down. Now included in the new budget package he got this included.

"ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES: Imposes a 40 percent tax on the wholesale price of electronic cigarettes, including vapor producing devices and liquid cartridges, to generate $13 million."

I'm not sure yet if it includes Vape Shops having to pay the 40% tax on existing inventory. It might.
