Jup. I hate it, but I can't bring myself to vote for either of them. The only thing I'm not sure of yet, is that I think a lotta folks feel that way, and I'm not sure what would happen with low voter turn out. As much as I can't stand Trump, I think I can't stand Hillary a bit more
That's how I feel. But I will vote to keep her the hell out. That goes for Burn, too.

I will never not vote. That is nothing less than surrender. I will vote, even if it's just for the lesser of 2 bad choices.
we've been doing that for decades! At least a couple. But this is the worst it's been in deciding who is the lesser! She edges it, but just barely

I don't understand what you mean here. How was this done with tobacco?
Some of "us" discovered on line stores and being as EVERYTHING has to get shipped to Alaska, once the state saw a pattern of package deliveries through the regular US mail or the other carriers (tell me how they knew that) they would allow the delivery of say half a dozen shipments and then send you a nice letter informing you that they had recorded "X" amount of cartons being received by you and you could either pay the back taxes (that you avoided by shopping on line) or be fined and jailed! NICE, huh???

+++ THIS! ^ ^ ^ ^ ^
VV I sure hope you are wrong...
Semi, you have no idea how much I hope I am too! My guts are literally in knots this morning over all of the things that have happened over the past few days. A month ago, I had some hope that "things" were changing for the better and SOME people were becoming enlightened. Now I'm not so sure...........

Holy crap! :-x

Around the major holidays a lot of PA folks will drive to New Jersey or Delaware to buy wine and spirits cheaper. In PA you can only buy wine & spirits from PA run/controlled shops w/ a ton of taxes piled on. The PA Police will have 'watchers' at the stores just across the border. Then relay car descriptions and tag numbers to the police sitting in side the PA border. Yep, pull 'em over and fine them and confiscate to booze for illegally transporting contraband into the state.

I suppose I can't really blame em, but dadgum. you'd think they'd have more to worry about and better uses for the PD

he, he ... this new 40% tax is part of a package that includes money for more training sessions to hire/train more police. Perhaps they're wanting more officers to track down nic bootleggers.

Actually Chinese Chinese food is not what you eat in the US... Same with Mexican food - it has been Americanized... o_O

Well I'm hungry & the wife is out of town for a week.

Sockeye Salmon steak is in the oven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (and I'm gonna eat it all, all by myself)

Can I say Libertarian party this time around?!?

Think it's time that we had an "Independent Party".

Might have to burry a vault in the back yard ...... I could tell them it's a BBQ pit.

I know I watch Anthony Bourdain A Lot. They really have flavors there. Spicy Salty Sweet and lots of Herbs, Garlic. Looks yummy.

I hear ya. The Libertarian candidate seems like an OK guy. Saw him on Bill Maher only needs a little more support to get him on the Ballot. Like me can't remember his name. He has to have a certain % on the polls to get on the ticket and have a chance to be in the debate. He is picking up a lot of people that don't like the other 2. Did you guys get your addendum to the vaping questionaire?

I retired in March after my company folded, but I had to apply for jobs to get unemployment benefit. I tried very hard not to get a job, then despite my efforts I was offered a 24 hour a week job for really good money so I took it. Started this week.

Thing is, I had got used to being able to vape whenever I wanted all day. Now I'm working in a place where I can't vape. I get two 10 minute breaks and a half hour lunch in an 8 hour day.

It wasn't as bad as I expected. I get a little edgy after a few hours but it's bearable, don't even think about it if I'm busy. I take my breaks in a service and delivery area underneath the building. It's too far to walk to get to the outside and still have any time to do my thing. Being stuck indoors 3 days a week is a bigger pain than not being able to vape.
