Here's a link to the report in Nature, by Dr. Farsalinos.
Abstract:
That said, I agree completely that working with higher-nic eliquid is dangerous, particularly if you ingest it, or get it on your skin and leave it there. The reason it's less dangerous when you vape it is that most of it is exhaled from your body in the vapor, instead of absorbed into your blood stream. But, you should also always be on the watch for signs of nicotine overdose (this is true for normal vaping as well). If you start feel dizzy, nauseous, get a headache, or get hiccups, those are all common symptoms of overdoing it. Stop at that point, and give your body a chance to catch up. But, from what I read, unless you drink the eliquid (and even very small quantities like 10ml can be fatal), you shouldn't have any long-term consequences.
Good job explaining Papa. You know you are one of the few people I don't have to argue with about some aspects of vaping. You seem to get it right the first time.
Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!
