I have 4 ProVari too and love them. Just got tired of changing batteries,18650s, 2-3 times a day and then having to take at least 2 light sabers with me when ever I go anywhere!

I use the 18490s and am pretty tired of switching batteries all the time and having to do one or two charge cycles a day. Then I remember I could still be smoking. It's a hassle but worth it.

I've been having equipment issues today. Damnable tanks....blah, blah, blah. BUT, now I'm SO excited. I think I've found my hero. I was SO disappointed in my Kanger Aerotank after I first got it. It wasn't doing diddly. I could barely get a pull on it. I played with the air holes. It just wouldn't act right. Tonight, I pulled it out again, and this time put it on my MVP. Dead as a doornail....... I changed the coil in it, and OMG, this has been my best vape yet!!! OMG! This leads me to think the coil that was already installed in it wasn't worth a poop to begin with.

So glad you figured it out. Been there, done that and it's so frustrating. The good news is you probably won't take long at all to figure out next time.

How true, how true! What ever works for each of us!
It's become a hobby for me and not a habit!

I'm grateful I found what works for me without going through a ton of equipment. Couldn't have afforded to either. Never sat and admire a pack of cigarettes and the economy pack of Bics but I have admired my vape stuff. :D And I've been off the smokes for 22 months. I'm not as much into the hobby aspect as some on here but let's say I like collecting.

Yes I've read many comments about people getting dud coils in a variety of tanks.
I may have had some myself for the nautilus but i was just starting out at the time and not sure if they were dud or I was doing something wrong.
I had replacements and at times was juggling three coils.

Just made two juices.

Dragon blood (dragon fruit,ethyl malto,strawberry,bavarian cream,vanilla cupcake,sweet cream,vanilla swirl)
and pecan pie ( pecan , graham cracker, sweetener, vanilla swirl, waffle, toffee) that one I used two different ingredients than what i found on the net.

I may not be the best reviewer of DIY liquids as perhaps a tad bias - If its ok and no bad taste then I'm yep woo hoo this is good.
Not to mention if their better than many of the premade juices I have bought ( which they are) then thats a bonus as i think well they have a company and have been doing this for a lot longer.

Ooooh, they both sound great!! I've been thinking of going the DIY route myself lately. I want to get my equipment right first though.

Ever notice how when a redneck says "yeh but" someone is in trouble?

and if that same redneck (or any other redneck) says.......hold my beer and watch this y'all.......ya better scoot outta the way cuz..... it's liable to be the last words you'll ever hear him say!!

I DID IT!!!!
28g Kanthal, 16g needle, 12 wraps, 1.7ohm torched & squeezed, wicked & vaped. Whadayathink?

Wahoooooooo!!!!!!!! good for you!!!! You did a great job!!!

Deb did it, too! She didn't post pics tho. I had to prove it happened!

Newp. I had a small desk console that I intended to bring here that has the cable for the camera to be able to hook it up to the puter, but somehow that caddy got buried in storage when I wasn't looking. Yours looks better than mine did though! But I'll get better.

My Hana is reading my BVC coils high. 1.8 is reading at 2.0. Brand new coil, too.

Iffy sorta beat me to it, but my hana usually reads about .1 higher than my gripper which is usually right on, so the other .1 is probably just the coil being a tad off.

I haven't had any issues with the resistance fluctuating. Make sure the screws holding the wire are cinched down nice and snug and you will be fine. Goes without saying to make sure the center post is nice and tight as well. You will have to drain it to change wicks, but I've never found that to be a huge issue. If I'm trying a new coil / wick I don't fill to capacity and then use a syringe to drain it pretty well dry.
For me they are the best bang for the buck out there in vapeland.

Between you and wolf, y'all are making me want one of these........stop that!!! lol

Actually, it fits in my hand well!View attachment 403916

There smaller than they look!

Wow, either you got some big mitts, or it really isn't all that big. Looked much bigger in busardo's video of it in his hand. I like the shape of it.

My hands aren't small but not huge! I watched Phils video too and I was surprised at the size when it came out of the box. I'd say about 2 1/2 ProVaris across and an inch or so shorter than a ProVari in 18650 mode.

My Hana is reading my BVC coils high. 1.8 is reading at 2.0. Brand new coil, too.

Meters, either in a mod or external types, aren't all calibrated to the same precision, so that's often the case. And there may also be a bit more contact resistance on the mod versus measuring with some other method. And, as Iffy said, if in VW mode, not a concern at all, being that close.

I've been having equipment issues today. Damnable tanks....blah, blah, blah. BUT, now I'm SO excited. I think I've found my hero. I was SO disappointed in my Kanger Aerotank after I first got it. Quite likely! I've had fresh factory coils with missing or crossed flavor wicks, giving leaks or tight draw, depending. Seems that most of the factories generally get it right, but sometimes a bad batch will go out, then everyone disses the company for months as making junk. Of course, there are the occasional Edsel designs, but.... usually just the random lemon :)

Need the help of someone who understands electronics :)

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a lovely purple Hana. My preference is the mini, but the battery can't be changed out (at least, not by me). It gets charged through a USB port. Here's the question: How many charges can an internal battery take before it will no longer take a full charge? Are we talking many, many thousand? Or, many, many hundred? I've searched Hana reviews, specs, etc, and can't find anything. (The battery is 1800 mah.)

Typically they're all around 250 - 300 or so full recharges. That's if you vape down to low voltage cut-off. If you recharge before that, it seems to extend the number a bit for "equivalence."

Thank you. Not good news :(. Probably the regular size that takes an 18650 battery is the better bet?

Well, if it was me... yes.

Since all the batteries are going to have a similar life expectancy, I prefer being able to swap 'em out as needed, and keep using the mod. Cheaper in the long run, since you don't have to buy the electronics and case again. And again...

But if size is an important criteria, may not be an option.

Which Hana are you talking about? Why not go for the V3 same all around specs and removable battery. Pric the same too if you are talking DNA40
