Ah, a cloud chaser with an explanation. :D

Well, based on responses from other nautilus users, I let my joose get down below 1 ml before refilling, with no loss in taste. I guess old dry-hit memories of C4 clearos, with their long wicks, die hard, and I've subconsciously been guarding against those dry hits when I don't need to.

The working capacity of my nautilus tanks has just improved significantly, removing any urge to get a K4. Thanks y'all!

I think you should show your appreciation and get one for me.

Knock Knock! May this old new member come on the front porch or is an ID required? Just wanted to check in and see what I've been missing and "maybe" learn something.

Welcome, and I thought I saw you show your ID over there, so have a seat :vapor:

Um, sure, maybe learn, share, teach, laugh... :)

And PapaSloth earned $1.765 toward his property taxe$...

Info delivered... pricele$$

I kept losing the word count, so I'll take your word... :toast:

For some reason, I'm getting burning from my 1.9 to 2.2 Ω coils at 6.5 wats... Not sure why, never had that issue before... I took out a flavor wick, and got burning AND flooding. Strange.

Maybe hot spots? A small crud buildup at one spot on the coil? And not surprised that you got flooding without the flavor wick!

Well like 'bigs' was saying it will be a more secure fit and it will likely have a bit better conductivity due to more surface area of the connection. Now will that translate to a better vape - honestly I'm a bit dubious given the P3 is VW. For whatever minor voltage difference between the 510 and P3 connection delivered to the atty (assuming the 510 has more of a voltage drop than the P3), you could easily up the setting a tad and make up for the difference.

Welcome back to the porch Shorty. How's your vaping habits/gear changed since you've been here?
They really haven't changed at all so far. It seems to me there are a million and one ways to go. I just need to go and find a simple starter kit because my setup is a little anemic. With all the ways to go and decisions to make it almost drives me to start smoking again. Is the Halo starter kit worth the time and effort for starters?

Hot spot is number one. I also had a look at one of mine, and the coil was not in the right place. A bit of adjustment, and it was back to where it should have been.

Shorty - before helping you 'move on/up' with your vaping gear, it would help to know what you are using now. We all started somewhere, so don't feel shy telling us what you are using. I started w/ really anemic 510 stick batts and cartridges - it worked for me but not well.

when my buddy Wilford found out i just ordered some Japanese cotton from here Koh Gen Do Pure Cotton Pads | Nordstrom he flipped.

Per chance are you using the old PT coils? I had the exact same problem with mine right before moving to cotton wicks. I also had, think nettles, a scratchy lower throat and top of the lungs. I'll never use silica again. Up until then, the only problem I'd had was the usual bad batches with the burning silicone. That was fun too.

I think it may be a bit mor solid but I got a Kayfun V4 with 510 threading instead of paying the $13 extra for the P3 connection and it is very solid. There is a tiny lip because the P3 is like the other Provari's slightly bigger that 22mm but it is so unnoticable, and it makes it less flexible if you want to use it on another mod. Mine is plenty solid on the P3.

Well like 'bigs' was saying it will be a more secure fit and it will likely have a bit better conductivity due to more surface area of the connection. Now will that translate to a better vape - honestly I'm a bit dubious given the P3 is VW. Well, I already have a collection of Nautilus Minis and 2 of their big brothers, so that'd be a "No" to the Nautilus P3. Thanks! That $40 can earn its keep on a Kayfun or, better yet, a Ruzgar ...

Ditto, and I do that with ALL my tanks, mainly because when I go to refill, I'll change flavors.
PS Semi .. I radically change, so they don't do so good of a job "blending"

Anything less than 2 flavors, and I don't stray far from home, since I'm used to have 8 flavors handy

Me too! There's the morning banana muffin or Vietnamese coffee; the 9:00-6:00 vanilla custard (in the winter) or cold fruit (summer); the cocktail hour humm-what-goes-best-with-this? juice; and the nighttime let's-try-______. My momma always said that it's a woman's prerogative to change her mind! :vapor:

Okay, procrastination period is over... I figured for only $20 - Why Not... I just broke my over 1 year with nothing bought speech... it is all your fault...
I have several ProTanks Mini's, that I have to use an adapter with to be able to use them in my MicroStick
I just picked up several of these, so that I could eliminate the adapter.
Hopefully this setup will work with the R80's.
If you put too big of a tank on them, you can't vape them while "folded"
Mini Tatroe Bottom Cap

Knock Knock! Just wanted to check in and see what I've been missing and "maybe" learn something.
Hey, we are the "know it all" crew, so your bound to learn something
Well, ...really more like the "been there, done that" crew, that survived, and lived it tell
Welcome :toast

Question .... I guess I'm the only one around here that doesn't have a KFL, so I may as well give them a try
I received a lot of "sale" e-mails notices, but I didn't need anything, so I deleted them :(
Now I'm having second thoughts
So if anyone knows of a good website and has the coupon code to save a few bucks, I may buy myself a Christmas present :pop:

Well, just ordered a 2nd Fogger 4.1. Need to do something with my 2 Vamo V5s, so thinking dual 32g coils should work at 15w. Seems so silly with my Sigelei 100w sitting beside them. Oh well, live on little vamos, live on......
Edit: and my flavor chasing craze continues, had 45 flavors, not enough, ordered 22 more today... will it be enough? prob not....

Goodness! 67 flavors? You've got Baskin Robbins beat by a bunch! Vape On!

For you flavor chasers: I'm having difficulty finding the sweet spot with my P3 and Nautilus (1.9 ohm BVC). The juice that tastes like ambrosia at 4.8 volts on the Billet Box tastes meh at the same setting on the P3. I have the draw set similarly in both. What's up with that? Any ideas? (This is one of the reasons I bought a KFL+. Please, let it come!)

That's what I have now, from walmart.
What worked best for me was an E-Go, and a protank mini.
Some like the E-vods.
Anything is better than what you have now 8-o

There will be a lot more suggestions coming your way, but what ever you decide on, be sure to get at the LEAST, 2 of everything.
The word "backup" is scared to vapers. There has to be one charging, and one vaping just to keep you going ... don't forget a charger for the type of device your getting, and extra atties (until you get into recoiling)
Your headed to a better world

Shorty, the Ego/Protank mini combo worked for me, as well. A bit better is a Spinner, because you can adjust voltage a little. There are lots of reasonably priced VV batteries. A young friend of mine just got a setup for under $40, all in (battery, tank, charger and 15ml juice). She's a happy camper! As Slots said, definitely get two batteries. You never want to be worried about that! Don't give up or give in; everyone you don't smoke is a wonderful thing and cause for great celebration!

I'm sure a better world will happen based on understanding a lot more.
