Have a good night, all. Pats won; I can go to sleep, now :)

Sorry, was catching up on some other threads. I did sleep a few hours this afternoon. My son came over tonite, and I tried to get two of those zenith attys from angelecigs. He was gonna get em for me with his paypal acct. It wouldn't let us, then he realized he didn't have $$ in his pp acct, tried to go add some and it wouldn't let him. Sighhhhh apparently I'm just posed to have these! Been tryin to get some for days and I can't manage to git it did. Oh well. Maybe I wouldn't like em or something. I'll choose to believe it's a blessing in disguise. They're nearly out of em now, so if anyone wants em for 5.00 check out now or forever hold your peace.

Roto DIY is really pretty easy once you get the tools. I get my nic at MFS because I like my juice at 50/50 I buy my PG VG mixed at 50/50 also then you just need a bottle of VG because most flavors are PG based so you have to offset the VG. If you start let us know and for TFA there is a chart that gives starting percentages for TFA flavors and Janet gave me a really good recipe that is simple for RY4 RTSvapes.com has a lot of different flavors from a lot of companies too. TFA flavors for the most part use a high percentage they are kind of weak others like VZ are really strong and you use small amounts.

I guess what threw my little pea brain was the percentages. 10% of what? I mean, if I intend to make a 30ml bottle of juice, are the flavors like so much a percentage of the 30ml. That is what has me a little confused at the moment. I'm not really that stupid. I just feel like it right now.

don't feel bad, those juice calculators make my head hurt too. I keep telling myself, that if i were actually DOING it rather than trying to picture it, it would make more sense. That's my story and I'm stickin to it. lol

Strawberries and Cream
Strawberry - 12%
Sweet cream - 5%
Vanilla Swirl - 5%
Hazelnut - 3%
Honey - 3%
Sweetener - 2%

8% Capellas Vanilla Custard
4% TFA Vanilla Custard
5% TFA Dulce De Leche
6% TFA French vanilla Deluxe

8% capella vanilla custard
2% tfa dulche de leche
1-2 drops per 10ml ethyl malto

.

See, that's what I'm not understanding. 8% of what? 4% of what? If I can get a clearer understanding of that, then I'll be all right.

I would assume that it is like you said, 8%, 12% (or whatever) of your total mixture, but since I don't DIY, I dunno for sure. That makes sense, but there are a lot of things that make perfect sense to me that are just plain wrong lol I know someone will be along tomorrow that can help ya out. Or maybe a night owl, like rattytat. Maybe post on the back porch too, I think Russell is checkin in on that one while he works, and can probably help you out

I'm havin a rough night pain wise, so gonna get off here and see if I can get a bit more comfy. Night, and good luck

That's correct. As a percentage of the final product. So 10% of a 30ml batch of anything would be 3ml of that particular flavor or other ingredients.

Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!

If there is a flavoring for it, there is a flavored eliquid.

Blue cheese, omg! My dad might start vaping just for that. Oh wait, he been brainwashed, never mind. :( I'll wait until they come out with longhorn.

Little Bird, I'm with what the others have said about working with nicotine. You already are working with nicotine every time you fill your tank. I was scared to work with the stuff the first time too, now it's not a big deal BUT I'm careful about spills that the husband or dog might come into contact with. In short, the stickies scared the pee outta me too.

It's the percentage of the total. Here is the calculator most use eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator It does take some getting used to to get get everything filled in correctly so play with it a bit before relying on it.

I use a calculator for juice making on my Android phone or tablet. Plug in what you want by percentage, tell it how much total juice you want, press compute and it tells you how much of each ingredient to add.

Debadoo, I'm very sorry you're having trouble with pain. Been there and done that and it's horrible. Hope it goes away soon.

The juice calculators are harder to explain than they are to use.

No ..... What I sometimes forget to put in is the PG or VG in the nic and the PG/VG% of the total mix. You'd think I'd remember it over a year after starting DIY.
