clnire, what kind of hound is that in your avatar?

Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!
That is Tasha, CH Sky Acres USS Stargazer, RA. She is an almost 8 yr old (Feb 4) Belgian Tervuren. She is a sweetheart, very smart, and don't mess with me because she is a Mommy's girl and will bark ferociously at you (from behind me LOL!). I had another, Spock, mega mutli titled CH Maplerun's Trouble with Tribbles, my heart dog, but he passed away at 14 yrs,7 months in December.

You might notice a name theme... live long and prosper, peace and long life.

...Until the seller provides documentation, I maintain my view that the claim of having nicotine sourced from US-grown pesticide-free tobacco is an empty claim, but it's definitely possible that they're the first seller I know of to be using nicotine from the one US extractor of US-grown nicotine.

I think I'm going to pursue this, in hopes that the claim is an accurate one. I don't know whether the USDA certifies tobacco, or if the organic label vis tobacco is not subject to set standards. I'll try to find out. Assuming there is a way to know how "organic" is defined, and assuming the tobacco meets the standard, it seems to me that the question will be one of standards applied to the extraction process. Does this sound right, or have I missed something? I'm afraid I can be like - well, like this :)

Two questions: 1) Source for organic, good flavorings?...

Asked elsewhere and and was recommended this for organic flavors. Natures Flavours

What FlamingoTutu says, but you're better off buying them through Ecig Express, Bull City Vapors or other vape suppliers, since only some of their flavors are suitable for vaping, And like any other flavoring makers, not all of the flavors are good. I've liked most of theirs that I've tried, but definitely not all.

...

See, that's my intimidation about DIY. I don't measure.......anything hardly. and when I do measure, I don't do it well. In crafting if I needed anything measured super precisely, or layed out mathmatically, I got my son to do it. See, apparently I can't even spell mathmatically. mathematically huh....who knew that E was there? Ok, bunny trail...anyhow......... Cooking so long by just adding til it looks good, or bout that much...etc My son always teased me cuz he's analytical, ok dangit, google says that's how ya spell analytical what's with the red line? So.....one day he was cooking something, asked me how of whatever to put in it, I told him....oh, a decent amount. Friends ask, can I have the recipe for that? Jup you sure can, but you won't like it. lol DIY ya can't just add a pinch of this or a handful of that.

The main reason you would want/need to be exact would be to reproduce the ones you like. And it is easy to be exact if you use a scale and weigh the ingredients. If I can do it, you can.:D

Post title: How vaping saved my hubbys Word files.

Got your attention? LOL

If it hadn't been for vaping I would never have found ECF. If it wasn't for ECF I would never have heard what could be done to save drowned electronics. If I hadn't found that out his files would be toast and he would be pulling an all nighter tonight.

The scenario. Hubby didn't check his pockets before sticking his pants in the wash pile. I was in a hurry and didn't check. His thumb drive with all his work files did an entire washer run. The rice trick worked. He was able to pull his files off and the silly drive is still kicking.

How is that for a weird twist to what we learn when we become vapers.

So, if I purchased a 50/50 PG/VG mix of 24 mg nicotine, I could just add my flavoring to make a juice?

Cool!

Thumb drives are pretty rugged, and no screens of course, and quick drying. :)

Are some not suitable due to oil? I'm not interested in this place, apparently you have to contact them to even find out prices unless I just couldn't find it......but when searching for cheese, i ran across this place. I was intrigued that you can specify, oil or water, kosher, non gmo, non chinese material, several other things under request a sample. Would these be flavorings we could use if we got them in water? Or are these totally different?

I've heard folks talk about weighing, but don't get that unless these scales are far more sensitive than I think. If you add a few mls of a flavor, I suppose I can see it changing the weight, but I don't quite get how that would be as accurate as measuring. Of course I'm thinking in smaller batches, is this more for when making larger batches of a juice you know works? Do you use the kind that you zero out after each ingredient, or just keep adding? That might be preference I suppose. Oh I'm sure I could do it, it isn't really intimidating, just a matter of learning the flavors and how much to use of each one, how strong they are etc. I won't go into why, but unfortunately I cannot do it where I'm living. But yeah, if I could mix and store stuff elsewhere, I would love to experiment with DIY.
