Nice job! For just a second there I thought it was a Snoopy dog house.
Firstiarily, I am of the temporary and possibly permanent opinion that the eleaf istick TC40W has grabbed the bull by the horns and found the ideal solution to Temperature Control: run the full wattage of the device at the coil. Don't worry, it is momentary. As soon as the set temperature is reached, in a fraction of a second, the power is naturally backed off, with the display showing the drastically reduced and varying wattage used to maintain the temperature. No need to mess with BOTH power level and temperature because setting the temperature does the trick.

Battery life on the istick TC 40W: pretty darn good, because the mod spends SO LITTLE TIME pushing the entire 40 watts.

The lack of a big rush of vapor at the beginning of my draw is more than compensated by the identical amount of vapor throughout the entire draw.

Why I am falling in like with temperature control: gorgeously consistent vapor from the first moment of the draw to the final second of the draw. As I have said previously, I'm taking longer and more satisfying draws.

I did feel the need to rebuild the Nickel 200 coil I'd made 5 days ago with a new one. When I examined the previous coil it was pretty dark and cruddy looking, and it had climbed from 0.10 ohms to 0.13 ohms in the 5 days I'd used it. New coil: 5.5 spaced wraps of 28 gauge, initial temp setting 350 F, which I will raise as the coil breaks in.

Secondarily, I ordered 2 Stanley organizers. Filling the first one eliminated my clutter.... somewhat. We'll see what happens when I fill the second one. 3 inches is the maximum height for items stored vertically. $10 each with Amazon Prime.

Those are nice cases. I need the 128 pack to get fully organized. :( Glad you're really liking the iStick TC 40W!

Cool!

Is that really a bronzy SVD, or a trick of the light?
It just looks like that because it's on a wood table. It's silver.

Nice Ken! Just wondering out loud here ... but do they have gingerbread flavored filament for 3D printing? :D

...
well.. they have printers that will print using gingerbread dough, so... yes, yes they do.

How much joose have you put through it in those nearly 4 months?

Unlike most, I do not pulse, torch or dry burn coils. I build them, put them in the delivery device, and break them in if necessary, through actual use. They either work or they don't. Perhaps I'm paranoid but I'm not going to fire any coil without it being soaking wet and with a wick inside it, inside the delivery device.

Yikes! My tank doesn't have a flow gauge. I really couldn't say how much has gone through it. It's in my daily rotation, I likely refill it (a KFL lite) every couple days. So it's had plenty through it. As soon as it starts to have a slight 'off' taste. That's when I clean it. I don't want it to get really gunky where a 'good' dry burn is needed to clean it. Usually just a couple quick pulses is enough to do it. I probably clean and re-wick it every couple weeks. I am using a real 'light' juice which helps keep it clean.

It just looks like that because it's on a wood table. It's silver.

Oh wow! And here I thought I was just making a silly joke. So you can 'print' a ginger bread house. Sweet!

Well, I picked up a Sigelei 75 w TC today. I am starting to really enjoy the consistent vape I get with the Temp Control. I am using Ni200 coils in my Herakles vaping Rumchata. This is as close to a heavenly vape I have ever come. I like the looks and feel of the Sigelei and it appears to be solidly built. I tried using the silicone sleeve and I just really don't like the feel of it. Besides, it makes it hard to get out of my pocket.

TC vaping is slowly making its way to the porch. Glad you're pleased with it.

Bells you should give the Ti a try. I have one coil that I have been using for almost 6 weeks now still tastes great, I have cleaned it twice and rewicked it. Just remember to set your temp at 100+ lower then nickel. My sweet spot is 270 and I use 13J which I don't know how that converts to watts but it hits temp in about 2-3 secs with a 5 wrap spaced coil at 3mm. 26awg is what I like with Ti with nickel I liked 28 but Ti works great with TC. Takes a little breakin about maybe 1/2 a day using KGD. It seems the cotton has a taste to it but once its done it is great. Not sure if it is the cotton or the Ti that has the taste. Make sure to get annealed Ti. Some of the best I have heard so far are v4fvape and I also heard the fast tech is good too. I use Crazy wire but might try some of the others when I run out which may be quite a while. I got 20m of this stuff and the length the coil lasts I don't use a lot. Also I've found that just using enough power to hit temp in 2 sec works better for me anyway then running higher power and making the chip do extra work.

I'm sure it will. If it works with nickel it should work with Ti. I use my SXM on NI200 mode with Ti cause the Ti mode isn't any better. I can get the same vape on Ti mode but have to run it at 480 still 13J so it is as far off as Ni mode just the other way and the Ti actually seems more stable on nickel mode. Easiest way to find power needed is set the temp and fire it and see what it throttles back to and set it there.

The KGD does have a flavor for a short bit. Don't know if I didn't notice it at first because I switched from regular cotton (strong wet t-shirt taste) or if it was masked by the juice I was using, but it does have a brief break in period.

Yep it does and so does the Sally Salon Coil cotton I use, but it actually has less break in flavor than the KGD does.
Go figure.

Yep (jup), agree. I have more of the KGD so am using that up. Sally's stuff is for special occasions. :)

Yep Ni and TI will vape at different temperatures than indicated if not run in their native mode. ie Ni or Ti mode of TC. They have different temperature coefficients and thus will require different voltages applied to get the same temperature.
Yeah with the Ti test firmware you get the same vape at 270 Ni or 480 Ti modes but it takes the same power to reach the different temps. YiHi has yet to upgrade the firmware with other then the test one which is not tuned in correctly and the temp jumps only about 5 degrees either way in Ni mode but in Ti mode jumps about 10-15 degrees but like I say the vape is the same. Everyone has been waiting for the permanent upgrade to come out it's been 2 months nearly since they came out with the test firmware.

No heat. With the ones that extrude dough, you have to bake afterwards.... easier to just make one... the only reason that someone came out with a way to do it was to prove it could be done.
Then someone came out with the Pizza printer they used on the space station and the pankcake printer that you can buy.

One thing I did notice about the test one if you build a coil that is above .43 or so ohms it works closer to what it should be but since I am running 26awg it almost has to be a contact coil which gunks up faster. Thinking about getting some 29 and building the coil. I forget what steam engine said for the number of wraps but it is low enough to build spaced.
