I'm vaping my first stainless steel coil and it's good!

It's an 8 wrap, 24 gauge stainless steel 304, wicked with rayon, 3 mm diameter, 0.38 ohm contact coil. (I think Commander Cody And The Lost Planet Airmen could do a great riff with the preceding sentence.)

After some experimentation, the settings that work best on my Cloupor GT are 25 Joules and 210 degrees Fahrenheit. Obviously, actual temperature is higher than that, or at least, I think it has to be. But with those settings on this mod, the vape is very good, voluminous and tasty.

As time goes by, I'll adjust my "good" declaration up or down if necessary.

That's the latest from the NC Campus of 2Legs Temperature Control University. (2LTCU-NC).

Well, that was wierd. Tried to quote legs and Robert and ended up with like 5 copies of each!

Anyway, Pat, thanks for the info. I am taking notes for Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales. Hopefully I will have my Clouper by then Lo

And Robert, I have 2 Zmax I love in 18500 mode!

Gotta get some sleep, this phone is driving me bonkers! Thanks everyone - some great wicking info too!
Yes fits the hand so much better with an 18500 in it.
Same length as the iTaste VV3.

Well I've paid the ransom and Trip (the hostage) has been freed! Thinner and still very uncoordinated but circulating the back yard refreshing his markings through out. All this in spite of being launched against my PU's dash, due to a sudden stop (miserable flashing left turn arrow!!!).
His head is still on a ~60deg tilt, and the vet still has no idea what brought all this on or what to expect going forward. Even consulting with multiple neuro-vets his symptoms are leaving all of them baffled.
So, 2 bags of pills, a clumsy twisted hound, a $600 bill, and a confused look is what I left with.
But, through it all, he's home so the house is on 'Spoil Trip Alert' for a while.
Again Thanks to all you fine folks for your good wishes and support. Greatly Appreciated!!!
Glad that Trip is home... ask your vet if he checked for this

Yeah, I was really expecting much. closer to $1K. So, it was only a minor case of sticker shock.
Is it too late for a GoFundMe?;)
Such wonderful news! So glad Trip is home and back on the job again. :D My husband once accidentally fed El Whacko some spicey food. I thought he was dying. That trip to the vet, lasted about an hour and a half, cost $1,000. Saved his life, so money well spent, but I've never forgiven my husband. :grr:

That's how Trip came up at the dentist's. I was talking dogs to the tech when he came in. He said he'd had a three year old chocolate lab that had started limping. He spent $6,000 tying to get the problem diagnosed through UC Davis. Turned out it was untreatable cancer on/near the spine. They stuck with the dog trying to balance what was right for the dog and not let selfishness get into the picture. That's when I knew I'd finally found a new dentist I could trust. He will be greatly pleased to hear of Trip's return home. They really want a new dog but feel it's still too soon.

Oh, I forgot Dinger won too! Although I know I mentioned it when it happened. More for the learning (and waiting) group!
Way to go Dinger!

Stupid computer, know there's some odd typos in here but can't find them.

Yesterday, an old friend, best friend's husband, went to the hospital not feeling well. By early evening his wife was told he was too ill for the hospital to treat there and he would he be transferred to another hospital. In the middle of the night, he was flown to UC Davis (human, not animal division) in serious/critical condition. This morning my husband's alarm went off at 5am, not 7am like it was supposed to. Got up, took a morning medication that makes it impossible to go back to sleep, and then Dumb Cluck tells me it's 5am. Woohoo, three hours of sleep. :grr:

On the way to the airport, I'd had it. I said I wanted a cigarette. It sort of just came out. I don't even remember the last time it'd crossed my mind to have one but think it as over a year ago. Got to the airport, two hours early :)w00t:), smelled a cigarette and that was that. Yuck. Odd how the old urges suddenly take root again out of habit or ...? I quit over 2.5 years ago and it just popped back under stress. Didn't work. :sneaky: I love vaping and I ain't never going back to smoking. :D

The old friend's/neighbor's prognosis is looking much better tonight after emergency surgery. :) :) :) As far as I know, he still smokes, and hides it from everybody, including his wife. Standing by to help, but man is it frustrating. We all know you can't force someone to quit. Wife, parents, children, grandchildren, pets, why can't they reach out to quit? And people wonder why I hate BT.

Yeah, I was in the 3rd Round, 'bout a week before the Holiday (not educated enough to know what the Chinese celebrate that first week of October o_O)

From what SJ was indicating, the first 50 (Groups 1 & 2) were shipping by EMS(?) and the remainder by DHL. I should be in the DHL group?

Many Birfdaze peeps were winners this time :)

All I use is the Kanger STM with the RBA. It has near 0 static resistance and easy to attach the coil. I use a 26awg Ti01 5 wraps 3mm spaced. Comes out at .26 for Unkamen and .28 using Crazy Wire. With this new upgrade for the SXM you can use almost all grades of SS for TC also.
It's like he's tryin to say something....I'm sure of it. I see words, I'm certain they mean something. lol

Trip is a 3yo chocolate Lab and we're in Garland. Dogs banging around in my PU is a requirement, I think. It only happens every time I take one of my dogs some where.:)

Stop lights in Garland are converting to the 'Blinking Yellow Turn Arrow' (more Stupidproofing). The down side is there is no clue (that I've figured out) as to when it goes to Red!
Sorry I don't think my Kayfun's would play pretty with a Reo. Just quessin'.;)

Yeah, I read that after I had noticed Trip's head tilt and coordination symptoms and mentioned it to the vet. My vet reported that he had consulted with more than one neuro-vet in an effort to pinpoint how to treat the problem. Trip's symptoms led to no conclusive answer to what the issue is. So the vet admitted having to 'Shotgun' the treatment.
Apparently, the 'Shotgun' treatment is working. Trip's head tilt is better (actually holding it straight sometimes), his appetite is improving (he's just not interested in eating dry dog food), he's alert and responsive to commands, his balance, coordination, and weight are still a work in progress. I think his being home has been good medicine as well.

OK STOP IT!!!
First it was Trip having health problems. Just as he's getting squared away here comes the next crisis.

My G-son's infusion med provider sends us a $10.6K bill for services since Jan 15. I was so mad that I have spent a good part of the morning with his health care insurance getting to what happened. His infusion services and supplies have historically never cost me a cent. After getting the insurance story straight I called the infusion med provider get their story. The first words from their service reps mouth was 'throw the bill in the trash'. Turns out their new billing software decided to send out factious bills.

I have a cousin I grew up with, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of 22.
I have watched him go through 18 brain surgeries over the past 38 yrs. The tumor is attached to the brain stem so all they can do is remove what they can without damaging the brain.
I have watched him post surgery, go from from fitting the round pegs in the round holes on childrens wooden puzzles, to full recovery to where you would never know he had surgery!
If you think of the ear as being a sensor, and the brain as being a computer. The sensor/ear can change the signal over time, and a lot of times the brain will compensate and things will get back to normal.

This type of recovery seems miraculous to everyone but a neurosurgeon (according to my cousins surgeon)!
I hope Trip experiences the same success!

ETA: Vape mail: Kayfun, and mo flavas today!
