More stuff came today. Lemo Drop and a Steamboat.

BTW, the rda took 5 business days from Carlsbad, CA to Mid TN. I don't think there is any doubt that the Steamboat is much faster than the Tugboat.

Wow!!! You've really been on a buying spree there Minuteman!

Someone has probably guessed already but I skipped a bunch of posts. I think the key to the answer is where you said: "leaving the chimney top inside the top parts of the body".

If I was to try either of those recipes I would use about one-fourth the total amount of flavoring. You like lots of flavoring!

You & Deb both got it!

bells and Ken are both technically right about the "key" going inside of course...

But I've always called a 6-sided tool that goes on the outside of a bolt head or nut a "nut driver" if it's attached to a screwdriver-type handle, or a "socket" if it attaches to a ratchet or other handle.

This Sub tank Mini just keeps on impressing me. Yesterday while trying jooses at the B&M, I got tired of trying to get anything out of those clogged clearos they had, so went to the "dripper table" to use those juices in bottles. There they had two Igo-L's with some sorry looking coils, and some cotton just sitting directly on the not-too-clean-looking table, so I didn't really want to use those.

So I just took the base off my Mini and dripped 5 drops directly into the hole in the top of the RBA head. After trying 3-4 fruit flavors, some fella told me I should try a flavor he liked called Leather, so I did... without smelling of it first. Big mistake. Now, I love the smell of fresh, quality leather... but this stuff tasted like old, wet leather... yuck. Ruined the taste of my RBA build.

This morning I washed the tank, rinsed the RBA base with the wick still in it, blew the whole thing out with compressed air, put the chamber sleeve back on, massaged the wick into place, wet it with some fruit joose, filled and reassembled and... It's working like a champ! And the Blackberry Brandy I bought actually tastes pretty good! oooraaahh...

Oh no! Another PSS juice! They're multiplying!

Speedy! I think the issue with stuff out of Carlsbad is when it gets routed thru San Moreno. The PO in San Moreno Is located in a black hole. Things go in & there's no telling where they'll go from there!

Allen wrench sockets have a short (one or two inch) allen stuck in it and held in by a set screw. I believe, reason being that the allen is case hardened steel and the socket itself isn't. Just not practical to mold a one piece allen/socket. The set screw isn't really meant so you can replace the allen, just more feasible to do it that way. They're quite handy when you get into heavier machinery.

Don't know for sure, but I'm thinking since the hex is hardened, it's not easily machined to be a socket, and probably also more likely to shatter from excessive torque.

Hangy down part, swively handle thingy, and boogering the end are all very technical terms. Right up there with doo hickey and thingamabob or thingamajig. ;)

Don't forget the bane of coils and wicks - GUNK

...Maybe next year for a Woodvil when I hopefully retire.

Good to hear from you, Pepps :) And good luck with that plan!

I have a question for you seasoned folk. I have several Kanger T3s that I have managed to loose the top o ring on the base. The base has 2 orings, one on the bottom of the threads and one at the top that sits right below the coil assembly. Anyone have any idea what size and/or where to get replacements? Any help mucho appreciated.

Well, it seems to already be addressed (and maybe stamped and sent by now! ;) ) but you could also get the adapter base to convert the original T3 to the T3s - and have some spare parts to boot.

Deb - not sure if something like this would be easier for you to hold then a regular allen key. But they do make T-Handle Allen Keys too.

There's a PIF thread, here's the link. Just be sure to read the rules for PIF'ing before posting.

Thanks Mike. Those are interesting, but mostly too big. Smallest is 2mm. The nuppin (and I think also cyclone) uses a 0.9mm allen key that thing is tiny!!! Oh glad you posted the PIF I had meant to, but forgot.

So true about both, Ken. Good friends (and dog people I kinda know in real life!, not that this is not real), and help for seasoned hands, minds and such. I wish I had joined y'all 2 years ago!

We wish ya had too!! But at least yur here now. I keep waiting for some good stories on the BP from you and doggyman bout shows etc y'all have been to.

Nite Y'all!

Sweet dreams!!

.7 Ohm single coil in the Steamboat is really putting out some big Vanilla Clouds. The stock coil in the Lemo reads 1.1 Ohm and it's going good, too. I've had a hard time getting the Subtank Mini to wick juice but not this Lemo. Matter of fact, I forgot to put any juice at all directly on the wick. I just gave it a few primer puffs and started chain vaping on it. No dry hits at all. Slots sent me some rayon that I'm hoping will work better for me in the Sub Mini. Real happy with these two atomizers I got today.

Rayon seems to be working well in the Sub Mini RBA. Chain vaping some Smurf Cake at 25 watts. I've been let down too many times to declare victory yet but this is encouraging. And tasty. :vapor:

Who makes the best Vanilla? I think I would like a good one. I tried some from can't-remember-where awhile back and it wasn't very palatable. And I haven't found a Butterscotch I could stand either, even tho I like a Buttershots Schnapps shot occasionally for dessert after supper.

Ruh roh George... clnire, do you need gaskets for the T3 or T3S? I have one maybe two for the T3, several for the "S".

These mfgs. ought not to name stuff with an S on the end... don't they know we have to "pluralize" stuff once in a while, and that just causes confusion?

A local store makes the best vanilla I've vaped. "V For Vanilla".

V for Vanilla

Their prices are high though. Haven't bought juice from them since I found Vape Wild and ITC Vapes.

That's what I was going to do if I could not find the orings. But not necessarily now! :) :) :)

What's a PSS juice... haven't heard that one before.

This Blackberry was pretty good yesterday morning, but by early evening was getting tired of it already. When it runs out this morning, think I'll flush it out with a 1/2 tank of unflavored and move on to something else.

Mornin Uman! juts lookin at that snake skin wrap made me shudder!! Would keep folks from swipin yur vape gear though!! lol

Yeah, most girls don't want to touch it... and most guys ask "What kinda snake is that?" Well heck, I don't know. I try to stay as far away from snakes as possible! Maybe a Timber rattler, definitely not a Diamondback.

Thanks for the link Storm... $6 per 10ml seems to be the "going price" for premix, that's what the "house brand" costs at the B&M I went to last weekend. Pretty steep when you can make DIY for about 10-12 cents per ml.

I keep saying this, but I have ~got~ to get up a flavor order.... I'm just dreading it like the plague... I'd rather be beat with a knotty stick than shop for flavors that I might or might not even like.

PSS = Patooie, spit, spit
(not sure of the spelling, but you'll get the idea)
On the gourmet juice thread we say if a juice has "BUT", for bad, unidentifiable taste.
clnire, I found 5 old bases I can cannibalize... do you need just the top rings?
Yes, just top rings. And any you can spare is truly greatly appreciated.

My current cost of ingredients for DIM (Do It Myself) joose is 2.5 to 2.8 CENTS per milliliter, less than $3.00 per 100ml batch.

In reality, I'm often using up various quantities of nic base, flavoring, PG and VG for which I paid higher prices than the prices on which the above cost-per-ml statement is based, but when those older ingredients are finally used up (or paid forward), every joose I make will have an ingredient cost of less than 3.0 cents/ml.

My current expenditures on vaping qualify me for the "$1-per-day" club, but in the 766 days since I replaced smoking with vaping I guesstimate that I've spent somewhere between $3000 and $4000 on vaping purchases, or $4 to $5 per day. My cigarette costs during that time, presuming that I'd still be alive (not a safe presumption at all), would have been over $9000.

I'm way ahead healthwise, with benefits that money couldn't have bought. The financial savings are just a delightful bonus.
