Note to self.
If you rinse spilled juice off of a kayfun, take the bottom apart and dry out the inside.

Otherwise a 1.5 Ω coil will read from 4-6 Ω and your device will say there is not enough battery.

3 hours later, and 7 new coils... Finally can vape again.

Well how is it? Good?

Stop it, there are :rules: about that. But really, have you tried WTAs yet?
I personally don't care for them but, a lot of folks swear by them, especially to beat the cravings.
I REALLY am having problems with cravings..........A LOT!! I LOVE this SVD. I really have thought of its potential as my personal self-defense weapon. LOL
That heavy eh? I'm with the others on increasing your nic levels.

Do you talk to a counselor or anything like that? I see one every other week and it's been helpful. It's actually kind of fun, too.

What? And be responsible for driving another human soul to the brink of destruction? :p

Uh-huh, yep, yes, absolutely! Plus it makes us all feel loved and useful if we can help someone. You don't want us to feel useless, do you?
precisely!!!

Am I old enough to be here? :)
jup jup and uhmmm.........jup! Here is a link to the back porch also, we can talk about anything there. Older Folks and Vaping Back Porch - Part Three | Page 339 | E-Cigarette Forum
We don't always succeed, but we're supposed to keep this one mostly vape related.

Eeeek! I would have taken a hamer to the tank after two coils. I salute your your perseverance. :thumb:

Meh. I finally wound up with a 1.7Ω build... Tastes burnt above 6.5 watts once I get up to spending more time, I will rebuild it again and shoot for 1.1Ω
That's what seems to work on the Kayfun.

Everyone here is 30.

On tv, everyone seems ashamed of their age. But, I find that I feel somehow proud of mine. Of course, I always have to calculate it each time since I can't actually remember it.

Let's see. Born in 1956. What year is it? Oh, yeah . . . . 2015. So, in October, I'll be 59. The big 6 0 in just a year and a half!

HI, Roxy. As long as you're older today than you were yesterday :)

Kidz....

I find 1.5 - 1.7 my preferred wind on my KFs, Ken. Not sure why you're getting burned at that. What wick material? I use rayon, and depending on the flavor vape at 8 - 9.5 watts with no problem. (I do generally work up from a fresh wick, though... and wind with 30 gauge.)

I'll be 47 this year. I've been retired for 6 years though due to having pancreatitis. Its a weird thing to have to retire when you're 40 because of course no one else your age is retired. And its especially hard when you were pretty much married to your career, and worked two jobs.

I don't want to be 30 again since that was the year I got divorced. I wouldn't mind being 35 again though :)

Since we need to keep this vaping related, I do believe it saved my life.

Don't think you'll find anyone here in disagreement on that! I started noticing health improvements about a week after I went full-time vaper when I got up one morning and noticed my AM chest rattle was gone. Don't miss it at all

My counselor lets people vape during the sessions. I can't wait to tell her about these two new men in my life. And then there's that fun lovin' gal, Crystal E Liquid.

Well I have discovered the static resistance on the Kanger STM with 4 settings is .01 ohms higher then the old ones. Not sure about the newest ones with the 2 air slots, haven't got one of them YET. Well I think I will sell my Provari P3 and authentic Kayfun K4 for $200. Think I will go all nickel. Good deal for someone. $400 worth of equipment for 200. Jump in with both feet I always say.

Lol, I meant this thread. I was 18 in 1986.

So its like Hotel California?

" You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave."

Welcome to the porches Roxy. Hopefully you'll never want to leave. You found the bested thread on ECF. Ok I'm biased, I like the people here so much, and I think you will too.

The new STM bases are pretty nice. The highest airflow is more than the original but the lowest is two tiny holes about like the 2nd setting on a Nautilus.

You can use this nifty thing to stabilize the resistance of your k 4 for use with tc.
