For those who do, however, I am wondering if flavor fatigue is a result of using juices with too much flavoring?

I doubt that.

I find that I need to rotate several flavs a day (currently four) to keep my t-buds interested. In fact I pulled out some peach that I got bored with several months ago. Now I remember why I liked it for so long, day-um good, again!

I have a 'coffee theory' regarding jooses. Which is your best tasting cup o' coffee of da day? Chances are, da first one (caffeine aside). T-buds can be fickle lil' papillae...

I responded to my own service ticket this morning, asking if my initial message had gotten lost over the weekend. Within an hour I got a response, saying I could return the mod for credit or refund, including what I pay for shipping to get it back to MFS.

So how did you fare through the storm?
MFS is a pretty good bunch..Glad you got service even if they were slow to respond..That is where I use to get DIY supplies..Did I mention I really blow at DIY..My juices all taste like old Scratch mixed them in the bowels of Hades using the buttholes of Hitler and Stalin!:shock:!

Hot dang, finally got da new router working and it's a speedy lil' device; more than double+ my ol' one!

My only two issues were hooking up the cable while the unit was on and being told by my local provider that a red light was 'normal operation'. He even had me look at their in-house routers, and sure 'nuff, all their lights were red. Apparently they're using LAN, not wireless! BTW, he said they don't provide tech support there (doh). Can hardly wait to return my ol' router this afternoon...

Hopefully, I won't be foiled again!

So now I have switched to light flavoring, I am wondering. I have never noticed any vaper's tongue, flavor fatigue has never been in my vocabulary. Probably because I never found an ADV, and switch off so regularly. For those who do, however, I am wondering if flavor fatigue is a result of using juices with too much flavoring? I know that could be a self-perpetuating cycle.

My worst case of vaper's tongue was about a month or so after I quit smoking and started vaping. Lasted over 2 weeks - maybe even a month if I am remembering correctly. At that time I was using only purchased juice and was very disappointed that I could not taste anything. Here everyone was talking about all these delicious flavors and I couldn't taste them. Food tasted fine - just could not taste anything in the vape. Tried all the tricks - pickles, mouthwash, eating something spicy, lots of water, smelling coffee .... nothing but time worked.

Once I started mixing my own a couple of months later - I did find myself using higher flavoring and that I have to switch between at least 3 and preferably 4 flavors thru the day. Even when I have something that I love and would like to just vape that all day (like my Madrina clone) I still have to switch - because after awhile it loses it's flavor. I have also found that even though I love sweet juice - I do need to have one that is less sweet in the daily rotation for when my sweet flavors start tasting too sweet.

Is that an Atomic / Reomizer 4.0 on the right? How do you like it?
Yes it is..It's wonderful..I think the RM4 is way under appreciated..I love the versatility and the flavor production with the Atomic,
( single or dual coil builds..and AFC ring ). I was in the market for an authentic..However NOTHING has gone wrong with the EHPro Atomic modified to BF,..( RM4 ) so why fork over the $100 for the Atomic and then another $50 to have it modified?!?..It's a 1:1 clone. Works flawlessly.

That's good to know, thanks. Planning on getting a Reo Friday and was looking at atomizers. Thought I'd go with a Reomizer for my first and the 4.0 is the one I was looking at.

Does it leak any? Is it really good with a single coil? I hate fooling with dual coil builds.

Looks good on your mod. The website pics aren't very flattering.

Got some good news today. Our benefits director went over the few changes to our insurance this year and I am no longer considered a tobacco user so I don't have to pay the extra cost for that. It's a good thing too because the extra charge is going up from $15 to $25 every two weeks. First paycheck I get in July should be $15 more for me than they have been.

I'm still having a bit of a fight with them on their mandatory health screenings since the exams are completely unrelated to work and require us to release the provider from all liability, allow them to sell our personal info and exam results to anyone they want and includes having blood drawn.

My bodily fluids, email address, home address, phone #, etc. are mine. I shouldn't have to let some outside firm sample them and tell anyone they want what it contains and suffer no penalty if they screw it up taking it from me just to keep my job. I come in on time every day and do my best and I resent being bullied. Considering a consultation with a lawyer over this.

Full two week steep with the FA 7 Leaves ain't too bad. It's got a bit of that sour tobacco inhale and the exhale isn't all that perfumy at this point. I bet the sweet spot for me will be somewhere between 10-15 drops. The RY4 is still not coming through at all, really. The TH with my mix in a dripper is a bit much. Gonna start using higher VG nic base to mix the PG flavoring in. Hopefully that will hit more smooth.

So did I run everybody off or what?

I hear the mad scientists at YiHi are working on an upgrade to the firmware that may accomodate titanium, SS, and even Kanthal with Temperature control. It sure would be nice if they make it a free firmware upgrade like the last one. The last one did so much for the nickel it made the vape twice as good as it was with a 5 min upgrade. It gave you a separate mode and 5 more memory spots actually 10 if you use the power mode to. Extended the battery life also.

Hey there 2legs - I've rarely used my TC mod the last couple weeks. Been rocking out on the P3 & K4 combo and liking it. The only real advantage I've noticed w/ the TC mod is a couple times I vape the tank dry and it just did it's thing and eliminated a nasty hit. I can still enjoy vaping mechs, VV and/or VW about as much as using a DNA40 TC mod.

But I'm not real descriminating when it comes to vaping. Been reading all the flavs you folks vape on a daily basis. I'm simple man - I vape just 2 different flavors. When I get tired of the one I switch to the other.

I responded to my own service ticket this morning, asking if my initial message had gotten lost over the weekend. Within an hour I got a response, saying I could return the mod for credit or refund, including what I pay for shipping to get it back to MFS.

Glad it finally worked out for you. Still waiting to hear something about returning Janet's iStick 50 to Vaportek. Tracking showed they revived it a couple-few days ago. Don't know whether it will just turn up in the mailbox or what.

Not without your consent. There are thousands of HIPAA-wise lawyers eager to 'tilt da windmill'!

Gotta ask, how are health screenings NOT related to work sponsored health coverage? I'm on your side, but I can't see a separation here.

If it's like some places, the Health screening is not necessarily for health coverage, but job coverage. If they deem you not healthy enough, no job.

According to federal law, the questions and exam have to be work related for them to fire you for refusing. Like if I worked in a battery factory and the company wanted to test the employees for lead levels. That is work related.

Asking how much I weigh or do I drink or how much sleep I get has nothing to do with the job. What is in my blood has nothing to do with the job. Aside from that, the employer in this case doesn't get any of the results of any of the tests at all. They don't want the results and will tell you so. So how could it possibly be work related in any way if they don't get the results and are never made aware of them? I even asked the benefits director about that today and he agreed with me to my face that the exams are not at all work related. He said it's not his call though.

I've even asked what the penalty is for not participating and nobody will say. That's because they know they are wrong to do this in the first place. I imagine they won't say because they know what they are doing is illegal.

If they want to charge employees more for insurance if they don't participate, they are within their right to do so but it is not legal to threaten disciplinary action or insist that it is "mandatory".

Like I told iffy, they don't get the results from the test so they would have no idea from this exam if you are fit enough to do anything. If they got rid of the people who were out of shape, most of the people at City Hall would be gone.

But there is no test like that where I work. We don't have to meet some fitness level to maintain employment. The feds do mandate that I have to maintain a valid DOT medical card at all times. That is all they need to know about my health but you know what? They don't even want to see the card and they are required to keep a copy of it on file. They won't take the employer copy and put it in my employee file like they are required to by law.
