Why don't you just go to something that you can build a coil in like the Kanger STM. Really easy to build the RBA section not expensive and you can get every piece of it separately so you don't have to worry about breaking anything. I have gone to just using those. They work great with Kanthal, NI200 or Ti and have to be one of the easiest to place the coil on. I gave up on trying to rebuild heads. Isn't DIYing great. It took me a long time to find the flavors that made me really happy. I like flavors that only take a single flavor to be good. It is a little expensive to get what I like but I did find one place in the world to get Baker Flavors and it is in Germany. Getting it from the maker in Russia is almost impossible. I can't wait to get my next order. I got about 9 flavors some I love some I don't know about but I'm sure they will be great. Going to get 250ml total which is enough to make 6500ml of juice. going to make a couple of combos with creme and fruit. It is amazing when you find flavors that 10ml will make at the least 300ml of juice and some that will make 600ml. Not bad for $6 US plus shipping. For that much juice shipping is between $25 and $30

Well I've got 1RBA and enjoy building on it. Just really want to try doing the BVCs.

I'm sorry Kenna, I shouldn't have teased you like that. Here is the recipe I used. It is in percent so you can make the size you want. It is a high percent for flavor, but it works for me. I hope you like it.

Blackberry Cobbler
Blackberry 8% 4 ml (CAP)
Cake Batter 6% 3 ml (CAP)
Butter 4% 2 ml (CAP)
Sweet Cream 1% .5 ml (TFA)
Whipped Cream 3% 1.5 ml (TFA)

So if my sense of taste has changed again so that fruits taste right I'll be very happy! I got black berry, too. May try a muffin or cup cake with that one. We shall seex

Assuredly, your TBs will evolve/devolve. But fruit flavs are my TBs' fav place. As to seex, you're on your own!

So Far Capellas has been the best overall brand for me.

Caps was my DIY eureka flavs. Have since moved on to VZ SC/G. BUT, Caps is a trusted and consistent line.

Their strawberry is better if I mix a bit of CAP sweet Strawberry in with it.

Hang in there it will get better.

Yepper and yepper!

Thank you Diver! I've been looking for a recipe for my blackberry. I kept finding things with cinnamon or other fruits in them. This sounds perfect! I have everything except the buttah.

Thanks Robert, & Iffy! I'm seeing lots of recipies with 2 brands or variations of the same flavor in them, so i'm starting to understand how it works. The one I did today needs tweaking on percentages & I need one more Blueberry d maybe some bilberry to get it where I want it. But it's pretty good as is. It's a bit light on the blueberry still. Strawberry will probably be the last fruit I try. I tried the MBV strawberry when I first started vaping was so disappointed. It was just not good to me at all. That & banana. Hoping with the changes in my TB's this direction continues. I could smell all these wonderful juices that just tasted terrible when I vaped them. So now i'm flavor surfing. I need to know vendors that don't rebottle. I'm hearing some dilute the flavors when they rebottle because the same flavor d brand from another vendor tastes better, or stronger.

Oh good, you're catching on early as an RN. :) And yes, they've been doing crooked studies for years now. Nic is found in eggplant, cauliflower, potatoes, tomatoes, etc. Everybody has some degree of nic in them. We're all going to die. Over 40% of doctors in the UK think nic is a carcinogen. Nic is beneficial for Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, tourettes, ADD, mental disorders, etc.

Well, Public Health England obviously does not agree with 40% of doctors in the UK. The recent independent evidence review published today by Public Health England (PHE) concludes that e-cigarettes are significantly less harmful to health than tobacco and have the potential to help smokers quit smoking.

"Key findings of the review include:

  • the current best estimate is that e-cigarettes are around 95% less harmful than smoking
  • nearly half the population (44.8%) don’t realise e-cigarettes are much less harmful than smoking
  • there is no evidence so far that e-cigarettes are acting as a route into smoking for children or non-smokers
The review, commissioned by PHE and led by Professor Ann McNeill (King’s College London) and Professor Peter Hajek (Queen Mary University of London), suggests that e-cigarettes may be contributing to falling smoking rates among adults and young people. Following the review PHE has published a paper on the implications of the evidence for policy and practice.

The comprehensive review of the evidence finds that almost all of the 2.6 million adults using e-cigarettes in Great Britain are current or ex-smokers, most of whom are using the devices to help them quit smoking or to prevent them going back to cigarettes. It also provides reassurance that very few adults and young people who have never smoked are becoming regular e-cigarette users (less than 1% in each group).

However, the review raises concerns that increasing numbers of people think e-cigarettes are equally or more harmful than smoking (22.1% in 2015, up from 8.1% in 2013: ASH Smokefree GB survey) or don’t know (22.7% in 2015, ASH Smokefree GB survey).

Despite this trend all current evidence finds that e-cigarettes carry a fraction of the risk of smoking."

E-cigarettes are not completely risk free but when compared to smoking, evidence shows they carry just a fraction of the harm. The problem is people increasingly think they are at least as harmful and this may be keeping millions of smokers from quitting. Local stop smoking services should look to support e-cigarette users in their journey to quitting completely.

Professor Ann McNeill, King’s College London and independent author of the review, said:

E-cigarettes could be a game changer in public health in particular by reducing the enormous health inequalities caused by smoking.

Professor Peter Hajek, Queen Mary University London and independent author of the review said:

My reading of the evidence is that smokers who switch to vaping remove almost all the risks smoking poses to their health. Smokers differ in their needs and I would advise them not to give up on e-cigarettes if they do not like the first one they try. It may take some experimentation with different products and e-liquids to find the right one.

I too am mostly interested in single ingredient fruity flavors. My first flavor order is watermelon, peach and tutti frutti. All Lorann. I had a 'watermelon rancher' flavor from a local b&m that was absolutely fantastic. Hoping to get close to that. Actually read an old post yesterday saying that is exactly what LA watermelon tastes like so I'm encouraged on that one. I've got all my fluids just waiting for my final order of mad scientist measuring tools. I'll be back on the road in a day or two so won't be mixing until I get back home. I've got something like 300+ml of commercial juices so no big hurry.
I swap out and clean my BVC coils pretty much every time I change flavors. That's been working well for me but I know they'll eventually need to be replaced or rebuilt. That's why I'm intent on trying to rebuild them. I reserve my Squape (Clone) RBA for iffy or gunky flavors. So easy to rewick or recoil that instead of possibly ruining a BVC.
My first PV was an eGrip. Still love it but for some time now it has been relegated to being my first vape of the morning with nasty b&m cig flavor in it then after an hour or so I'll switch to my fruit filled clearos. Thought I was done with tobacco flavor.... Almost a big mistake! Couple days ago, just out of nowhere, I got an urge for some nasties. Got thru it OK the first day. Next day it came back again and I was close to buying a pack. Ran to my b&m instead and got some more 'tobacco road' and that got me thru. So I'm back to grabbing my eGrip first thing in the morning.
I keep 4 clearos with different flavors in rotation. Yesterday I decided to start labeling them because I couldn't remember what juice I had put in each clearo. So I start puffing each clearo to identify what juice was in it and it was really difficult. That's wrong! The commercial juices all taste great, I guess because they're so sweet, but when you got peach and orange side by side and can barely tell the difference... That's just wrong. Another argument for DIY.

And still trying to get that BSOD...
but this is pretty cool - you can have your coffee and print with it too!
Only problem with that in my view is that I'd be recycling someone else's coffee byproducts instead of my own. I dump my coffee grounds outside my door.

Also, the details are pretty sparse concerning how much recycled material is used.

Then again, I'm a DIY enthusiast with approximately 10 DIY mixes sitting in front of me, and I have no clue which ones are in my clearo at any point in time.

One thing many do for that, Misty, is keep one topper with a higher nic level for those times. Regardless of flavor, that may also be something for you to try if you don't want the tobacco flavor.

I just got a Sx Mini. Recomedations for what kind of atty works well with these?

Anything that you're already using? Since you're a tootler, you're not going to go way up in power, so your current crop of toppers should work fine. While not an SX, on my Cloupor and Ola's I use, depending on what loaded in what, Kayfuns, PT1 and 2 iterations. Your new mod is, after all, just a power source.

I driipped some on the Reo coil & tried it. It's good! I'm so excited to have finally found a fruit I can vape! I'm going to keep some without nic that I can use in the evenings while i'm winding down to sleep. The rest will be 18mg. Gota get some more flavors next month so I can stop buying premades. I'm hoping to figure out the 2 Cotto's that I like so much, & the Gentleman's Reserve, too.
that's fantastic hun!!! Looking forward to your recipes when you get settled on em!

No matter, my gallon of PG and gallon of VG were both intact and dry, thankfully. My liter 100 mg nic from FedEx was right beside it, not nearly so beat up.
kewl!!!

Of course the no artificial ingredient ones from Flavor Concentrates are good for me.
is that nature's flavors? That is what I saw when I googled flavor concentrates other than just generic stuff

David already said it, but I will second it, definitely keep one that has higher nic for those times the cravings get bad. That will likely take care of it. Many folks vape a couple (at least) different nic levels through the day. You're doing great hun!!!
