Good morning and Merry Christmas to All...

Welcome pixie, you'll find all the help and support you need from the fine folks in this thread... I did.

Just after I started ecigs last April I found this thread, been here ever since. The moral support is just as, if not more, important as the advice on gear and joose!

....You will find this thread full of helpful, humorous, and very smart people.

Couldn't have said it better myself... :D

One of my presents to my wife:

(notice I got me one too :))

The iTaste VV3 seems to have been made for the Evod. Together they make a nice little package... I like the VV3, the functionality of a Vamo or Zmax in a small package. And my wife has yet to run the batt. all the way down in a days time (i gave it to her last Sun.)

(Sorry for the cellphone photo y'all... and wrestling with Photobucket to post a picture the right size is a hassle to me)

Hello - I'm older, lol, and I just started vaping 7 days ago and have been 7 days without using cigarettes. Formerly 2 packs a day, sometimes 2.25 on weekends. I still have a pack of smokes in the house just so I don't go through separation anxiety, lol. Sometimes I crave one, but the smell of the real cigarettes is starting to bother me now.

I have a 13 hour battery (Vision spinner) and a 4 hour spinner (I get more smoke with the spinners). And 2 chargers, lol. I have a ProTank Mini and A T3S. I am chain-vaping but hopefully will settle into a routine and slow down an bit after I get used to not smoking. Right now I am vaping the buttery/sweet stuff as something in it reminds me of cigars. I am a bit worried about the diacetyl but have now ordered from Vape Chef and Nude Nicotine, both of which claim not to use the D-stuff.

I took 7 days off work to make the switch, lol. Today was my first day back at work and of course at "smoking break" I caught bloody hell when I sat out there and vaped. Lots of nay-sayers and people laughing at me, threats of my battery blowing my head off, etc. But at least the worst part is over now, lol. By Monday they will have some other office gossip to occupy their minds :)

Anyway, that's my "Hi - I'm an older vaper post" lol

Hi Miss so glad to have you with us. Pull up a rocker and join us on the porch! Always room for one more.

It is a miracle how well these work isn't it? I never in a million years would have thought I would actually quit but I did.

Don't worry about the nay sayers. Educate those that seem the least interested and let the rest roll off your back. We are threatening to those that are not ready to quit. Because it works for us and they are running out of excuses. TO those that say it will blow up I point out their cell phone has the same sort of battery and that is attached to their face every day.

In this thread you will find people who use pretty much every level of gear out there and have experience in much of it. Always someone here ready and willing to help.

Well done on quitting!

You might want to boost up to a higher level of nic for a while, if you are chain-vaping. I didn't try to quit-- they just got disgusting once I started vaping. Then I went through a grief thing, because I knew I had quit for good. Then I got sick and my Dr. told me that I had to quit nic immediately.

Don't beat yourself up if you decide to try just one cig. Likely you will take a few puffs and feel like vomiting.

Welcome aboard! Great choice to switch, and you sound like you're doing fine.

You didn't say what level nic you're using, so 0mg's suggestion of a higher level may be in order. If you get too much, you'll know it, and it passes quickly

Good that you have two chargers. Two or more of everything is important. And you do have extra coils for your toppers, yes? Regular maintenance is important to a good vape, and is pretty easy to do. (Get coils for the T3S, they will work in the Protank as well, so you don't have to have both. PT heads / coils won't work in the T3S :) )
