Thanks for all the input about the bad taste...it may be that soaking will help, certainly didn't hurt :)

Re: the Vamo.

Not very good picture sorry, but I show one with a Davide and one with a ProTank. The Davide is with the chrome beauty ring and 510/eGo adapter.

I just got the Air Flow Controllers and like the looks better, but didn't notice any difference in the draw using these tanks. I suspect not much restriction in air control due to the particular design.

I change coils every time I get a bad-tasting hit. I figure that once I get a dry hit, the coil is fouled and needs some cleaning. I have enough spares to get into coil-cleaning once a week. That is with 22 devices.

Thanks. I have the 510/eGo adaptor on my wishlist. The smaller diameter of my clearos really isn't that much smaller. Where did you get the beauty rings? Do they serve any practical purpose, like stabilizing the clearo connection?

My Beauty ring came with my protank 1 LOL. I have seen them for sale a number of places including Fasttech. Right now though Fasttech is Slowtech with shipping sometimes taking a month or more.

These are anodized (not annealed) aluminium VAMO-2's from SlowTech. First one got here in a week. Second took a month. They have become my go-to PV's in 18350 mode. Fit and finish is excellent, light weight and purty to boot. Vision Victory on the right, i30S on the left.

That is OK. Eric has eGo Mini 350mAh Battery - Stainless and will have USB Variable Voltage Mini Passthrough - Chrome if I get in a tight place. And there is always the local tobacco shop which is being responsive to our requests. I will ask Eric if he can carry beauty rings, if I decide I want one.

That IS purty, Bob. I plan on covering mine in the patterned Duck tape-- I notice that Wally's has it in sheets now in the crafts section. My three twists are covered with the peacock pattern.

My Beauty ring came with my protank 1

I am using the protanks also. A while back I also invested in a mini protank, but quickly learned they are not what I would call mini - same length - just thinner. I was hoping for shorter and thinner. Maybe what I need would be a fat and short mini - does anyone make one??? The Kanger T3 mini was just that, but I have not found it in glass yet...

If you are using the small eGo style tanks you won't need the beauty ring...basically it's for covering the threads when you are using the larger 510 threaded tanks. The ProTanks come with a beauty ring...they do cover the threads, but in all honesty they aren't what many would consider top of the line. The tanks IMO are very good. :)

OK. Thanks. That clarifies it. My CE5's are 510, but have a skirt which I assume serves the purpose of a beauty ring.

I just went to TFA to order some more Sweet and Tart flavoring, since I ran out without knowing... They are closed until the 2nd. Had to get it at wizard labs... they re-package in little glass vials... darn it.
So, I also got some teaberry, citrus Punch, Huckleberry (new one for me) and Mint Candy.
I checked my budget and still have $80 to spend on vaping for December.
Then I went to madvapes and got a magnetic Natural and an FBC Clearomizer.
so I'm saving $20 this month. :)

You don't have a roll-over vape budget like some cell phone plans?
:D sort of....
I spent $1400 the first two months I started... went a bit overboard there
so I keep myself to a budget of $150/month with an overflow up to $200
If I spend only $100 one month, the next is $200... if I don't spend anything for two months, the third month is $200
so I never let myself get over $200
if I had not bought the Natural PV, then I would be saving $80, but as it is, next month, I can spend up to $170
and I round down to the nearest $10

I like that budget. Enough loopholes to satisfy you and strict enough to placate your wife?
