I've been using the ce3 for a couple of months now and I haven't had any problems with them. I don't use them alot because they don't hold enough juice for me and you have to use a syringe to fill them. I think they vape better than the Ce-4 but I use Ce-4's the most because of the ease to fill and they hold a little more juice. The 3ml bottom coil clearo works good as well but they are more expensive and hard to find. I'm hoping DV starts selling them too.
I guess that I'm the odd ball in the group. I have tried many, but not all, of the newest things in cartos, but I keep going back to the Boge cartomizer. For whatever reason, I am more satisfied with the taste and performance of a standard carto with the filler. No razzle dazzle, just simple straight vape. I don't taste the filler, I understand the concept and they are inexpensive. I can get two to three weeks of good vaping from one of the Boge XL 2.0 ohm cartos, I can "punch" my own for a tank if I wish, or use it straight and I can get 15 of them from CCV for a little over $20 with free shipping. For me, I'm set with the simple life. Tried the stardust, and the Vivi Nova most recently. I did not like either of them. No problems, just did not like them as well as my standard. Just one of those old dudes that doesn't like change I guess.
Just found this thread and thought I'd put my 2 cents in. I was a smoker of almost 48 years. Used to steal my dad's Lucky Strikes as a kid, by the time I was 16 was at least a pack a day. A little over a year ago, I had to have a long talk with myself, was coughing and hacking like a fool and was starting to have problems catching my breath. Decided to give this a try and I'm sure glad I did. I started the end of March, 2011 doing both, vaping and smoking but on April 28, 2011, I put the cigs down for good and have just vaped. Started with the eGo-T and now have a Provari and BuzzPro and my eGo's. I use cartos mostly as they seem to be the easy to use. I've been trying the tank thing but have absolutely no luck with getting them to work correctly (I must have 3 or 4 different kinds and believe it's operator error) 
- I even went as far as forking over for a Surge Tank (which I will try to use again). But the cough is gone, I don't have problems catching my breath anymore and I feel better!! And I especially enjoy my vaping!!

Welcome to the group bugsman, glad you dumped the stinkies..I smoked for 52 years and I almost have a year in on vaping and no analogs so it is really nice to not cough and hack anymore as well as being able to breath again..

Oxidation is to have a layer betwin coil and wick. Without that the coil will short. That is why some only oxidize the part where the coil sits pn the wick.
Wicking efficiency is determined but how tight or lose the mesh is rolled.
To tight= no flow
To lose= flooding

Hiya Gadd. So glad those boges work for you. I bought the big pack at CCV too thinking these would be just the ticket, but I can't get them to work more than 2-3 days out of one before it's awful and even right away it seems so scratchy. I've drank about 2 gallons of water a day for years, but these are just so dry. I'm a no muss no fuss person too, so was really hoping I'd like those. The mega dual coils I bought are even worse plus I seem to react to whatever that tip is made out of. Really hoping my new stuff comes today along with my juice since I'm about out of that

Didn't like getting tobacco in my mouth so sometimes I would dump a little bit of tobacco out of one end, and shove some cotton ball down in there to act like a filter. lol

Last week I wanted to order one of my favorite juices from a vendor. Went to their website and there was a post saying the juice I wanted was unavailable because of a shortage of ingredients. So instead of ordering a 30 ml bottle of what I wanted I ordered a 18 ml bottle of my second choice plus a couple of small sample bottles of other flavors.
Yesterday my order comes and on the envelope it says there's a freebee inside, Yeah for me! So I open the package and what do I find, everything thing that I ordered plus an 18 ml bottle of the juice I originally wanted to order but couldn't because they didn't have the ingredients.
Can someone explain this to me?

Hello and welcome to all the new faces. I just got the Ce5+ and ReVive V2 a few days ago. I've had good days and bad day with both. Not sure what ohm resistances they are, but I think they are the 2.8 ohm.
The ReVive: is having trouble firing from time to time, so, I figured it is the connection at the bottom not making contact. After talking the juice out in a syringe and cleaning it, the thing works fine for a while then it has to be pampered again. I have changed the replaceable atty and have the same problem with the fresh one...it could be that the seat for the replaceable atty is not holding it properly. It seems to snap in ok, but still that problem is persistent. As far as volts, at 4.7 V it is starting to give a burnt taste (YMMV).
The CE5+: does not seem to like much over 3.7V (YMMV), but 3.9V did better with GP Carmel Capp...go figure. As far changing the atty gizmo, not much of a problem, but threadin' the needle (so to speak) got a little irritatin' so the screw on will may not be the end all if it doesn't have the tube as part of the total package.
In the end neither are the answer for me. My quest is essentially to get away form Cartos, but so far the SmokTech tank is my go to. 3.0 ohm cartos, but CCV does not have a prepunched 3.0 ohm and says that ressurector has never made a PP 3.0 ohm...thought I saw then a couple of weeks ago on their sight, but then I'm pushin' 70 pretty hard so can't argue with them.
I'm sure they know their site and product line better than I. Anyway ordered the 1.7s, they should be in by the end of the week...about the same time as the VTube from Apollo (I've use 1.7s before and had no problems with them, just reduced battery time before recharge).
By the way Apollo has a coupon for 30% off the VTube if anyone is interested...I ordered the kit Saturday and the tracking says it should be here Thursday...the coupon code is 'vtube30', it works out to just a few cents over $52 for the kit, but I guess MikeE3 got a better deal with the co-op...where do you find out about these co-ops?

I know what your sayin', went there myself and am still havin' a panic attack...I'm down to about 15 or 20 ml of my 2 favs. (We talked about earlier in this thread I think). I jus' hope they get the fruit they need real soon or I may have to shop elsewhere for it...But, lucky you, you got a freebie maybe I should press my luck?

P.S. I picked up a 6 ml bottle of Havana Gold from them. What a nice surprise, closest thing I've experienced to smoking yet. It defies logic, being 100% VG it has a HUGE throat hit and a lot of flavor. I definitely need a bigger bottle of this stuff.
Hiya Tiny and Ivape. That stinks about the juice. My juice issues are......my package won't get here! I'm nearly out of everything except 1 that I really really don't like. A couple days ago I mixed remnants of 3 compatible flavors together, and have just a few drops of it. Ordered last thursday from a place 3 hrs from me. Not here yet. Grrrrrrrr
Thanks Gadd. When I first filled them I was using the syringe and doing like you did, making sure the bottom all got filled. Didn't want to do the condom method, just seemed like you would be wiping off a lot of juice. But then I started just dropping it in from the bottle to top off when I could see white at the top and at first I was turning the bottle as I dropped, but then realized, I really didn't need to do that because I could drip in one spot and see the darker juice spread throughout. One of the ones I thought was burned, I took apart, and there was still quite a bit of juice in the poly fil in the center and bottom. I've been topping off every say 20 draws or so because I just get really bad, dry, scratchy hits. So I think it's either lousy juice, or I'm having trouble with the poly fil. I'm not normally very sensitve to things, but I can't use the whistle tips at all that came on the mega dual cartos. Lips get really tender, and swollen after just a couple hits. Which stinks cuz I've got a lot of juice in one of em right now. lol I may have to try to find a way to do that reverse taryn spin to get it out.

Deb...you could try painting the whistle tip with vaseline or finger nail polish (might disolve it??) or covering it with tape, maybe a bandaid??
Deb I feel your pain. I ran into a similar situation when I first started, it made me realize to buy big bottles of the juice I like and that it's better to have too much juice than not enough. If I was closer I'd run some over to you but Wisconsin is just a bit too far from the Lone Star State. Just think how happy you'll be when it shows up.
I'm so paranoid about running out of something that I have something coming in the mail a few times a week. I have some juices I didn't really like put away just in case I run out - I'll have something to use even if it tastes like crap. I used the CE3s most of today and I'm becoming a huge fan - they are just completely trouble free and each vape tastes the same. I'm developing a steady routine now that I've been vaping near 2 months. I use my eGo's at work and they go on the charger as soon as I get home. I then top off the cartos I used and load them back in my travel case so they're ready for tomorrow. I break out the VTube or the Epower as that is my home PV and settle in for the evening.
The process is more complex than just buying a pack of smokes but I'm getting used to the small chores...

I tried the Mega cartomizers as well. I didn't like them either, and especially the whistle tips, but had the same problem as you with lack of flavor and dry hits. I still have 4 of them in their wrappers sitting in my box. I'll stick with the Boge XLs they work for me.

Awwwwww that's sweet. If ya ever do come this way, ya gotta bring cheese curds too!! I got addicted to those years ago, and can't find em here. Yummmmm lol Well, I'm using the dregs of my first order. I got 6 little 3 ml bottles and a free 10 ml bottle, then had to wait til a check came in to order more. Lesson learned, just thought I'd be able to get more sooner than I was. I do have 120 mls coming. And just won a GC from a juice company (yea!) so will have plenty more on the way once I decide what I want lol
