OK, so I started that thread with the tech/info. I just basically barfed up a million things. I wanted to ask some of my more knowledgeable and experienced friends to contribute. Here's a couple things that I would love some help with.

how bottom feeding works.

how to squonk. (incl. peeking in the atty and seeing whats happening)

which atties folks tend to use for bf

how a bottom feeding atty is different

how to modify an atty

how and why the space shuttle (or any falling matter) heats up upon re-entry

whether home grown chicken eggs really taste any different from store bought.

Also, as time passes, I'd love to see pics of various atties on your mods, to help folks get an idea of what it may look like.

No hurry on any of this stuff, just putting it out there and asking. :)

TIA! :p

Val, good idea :)

I'll cover 1 thru 4, and to give my take on 7 I'll slap these here RBAs on it:

Wow, that's a lot of really good info on your tech page! Well Done.

I'm also in a conundrum, I would consider myself an enthusiast and love the conductivity of the brass, but I also love the durability of the SS... I'm hoping to get 3-5 years of heavy use with the lowest amount of maintenance possible, but if something were to go wrong with the brass screw you'll have replacements available right? Although I can't see what could possibly go wrong, I mean its a screw, unless I'm a bonehead and crossthread the nuts, which seems pretty unlikely... Will it tarnish? Easy enough to clean tho...

Alright I think I'll go w/ brass. I do love my .4ohm coils :vapor:

Chalices used to be a lot more necessary like a year ago when there were so few decent BF RBAs out there. Now you can get a $40 RBA to vape just as good and function (feed / drain) nearly as good.

Ill say it again though: If you have the opportunity to snag one, do it for the exclusivity and craftsmanship. Not for what it's / it's not gonna do to your vape :)

Thanks man! And I wouldn't be nearly as satisfied if I was still using disposable attys! So that's thanks in large part to you!

In regard to the chalice, I feel it's like love: better to have owned and sold than never to have owned at all...

dang it, I know I just did a DIBI DANCE, but this one calls for another one!! CONGRATS MON!!!!!

and thanks to you also

Congratulations, M.o.N.!!!!!!!!!

Milkman, it's not lost, it left Kent.

SeaNap, with a desire for 4-5 yrs with "zero maintenance" I'd only get the brass 510+post if I messed with my atty very infrequently. If you tend to put it on and just leave it there for weeks, you should be fine. If you're fiddling with it (taking it off, replacing it, or just putting it back on) every few days, you might want to go SS. This is just a guess. Not many of us have been vaping for 4-5 years with RBAs (tee-hee). Tarnish-wise, mine doesn't; but I think it's cause it stays wet with e-liquid. (meaning; I don't leave the mod sitting with no atty on it. I'm using it all the time. So it stays wet.)

BTW: everyone, SeaNap here is the guy who did the research and found this fuse what I use when we were modding REOs. I can thank him for that integral part of my Mod!

Thank you, Sean!
