You know, I started off being glad I could stop testing and get back to my eGo vapor machine when the PB needed some sleep(charging), but now I kinda miss the simplitity and the flavor of it. Especially now that the clear tape gets rid of the steel taste when it's in my mouth.

I have to agree. In the beginning I looked forward to getting back to me riva but now I am seeing what LK says about pressing buttons on a manual battery. This thing with proper juice and draw technique has become my favorite pv.

I finally got to count puffs! I didn't use any primer puffs. If I go slow, I don't need to. The pitbull was fully charged (the second) and I counted 129 puffs. It is back on the charger and when it is fully charged I will do it again. This is the third full charge, so if everyone is right it should be the highest count. After using this little puppy, I definitely think I would purchase it. I don't even mind the orange led. I know, it takes all kinds!! :) So far, I really like it. It is the first automatic that I don't need primer puffs to get it going, which is a good thing. More later........

no comment on the cartos....as promised. :)

okay...I cant resist......it's not a QC problem if your topping off or refilling....get it? :) If it works out of the box then it does what it is intended to do. The only time I have had a carto stop working like that is from overfilling....it doesnt take much juice to get stuck down there in the threads to kill it.....I am talking about internally....inside that barrel of the carto....not on the outside of the threads....although eventually that may kill the battery.

Lorikay, the cartos I'm talking about are medium flavor and they have a hard draw out of box. Without refills. The menthols are fine, and my old full flavor ones are fine.

I also want to thank all of you for taking the time to report back your findings to us...it really is helpful...but let me ask all of you this one question.. Would you all be happy if you had paid for the PitBull in its present form?...no changes being made to the way it looks or works?....that is something I would like to know...thanks again...

If I say yes, will you send me a bill? ;)

Honestly, I like the PB, my only problem is the threading--not as precise as your other batteries, but that's a minor issue that can be easily fixed. Having said that, I think I still love my Hendus the best. But I'm waiting to see what happens after a couple more charge/discharge cycles on my PB. I'll keep you posted.

And thanks for giving us the opportunity to test and to express our opinions about your products. You know I'm a fan.

My answer to this would depend upon the price. Under $14 and I would say yes overall.

I've been through 5 more cycles since I first posted. Each time charging has been about 2.5 hours.

Using my extrapolation technique of counting for 10 minutes and then noting the time it takes the bat to die, I'm still getting in the neighborhood of 280 puffs (which does not include primer puffs but which I do every time).

I still feel like it looses power after about 200 puffs or so though so 200 would be my final answer.

It puts out enough power when fully charged for me to be happy overall with the performance.

Used two cartos and both threadings were a little rough. I also needed to loosen both to get the easier draw I want. But that's like juice....everyone likes something different!

Finally made it back (work and many trips to hospital to see my Dad). I've already reported on puff count, charging, and refilling cartos so now I will comment more on other findings. Preface here: as of 7/23/10 the Hendu has been my first and only ecig ( bought a mod but have only tinkered with it a few times), so I can ONLY compare the PB to the Hendu. What I'm finding as of 3 full charges is that I have alot less TH with the PB than my Hendu. I've even done "blind" tests and know which one is which every time. Used 12, 18, and 24mg nic juice with same results. Flavor is also not as strong (maybe because it isn't as " warm" I don't know. You guys (and gals :) are the pros here so maybe you can tell me. The battery life is great, I get a couple of hours compared to about 1 hour with Hendu. What I find I'm doing is using the PB when "pacifying" and my Hendu for a "harder" hit. Bill I would definitely purchase the PB! the extended battery life is a major plus! But of course since the charge time is so long I would need 2 or 3 to get through the day so a multipurchase discount would be beneficial.

Lowthudd I started using plastic t-tips (510/901) about a week ago on my Hendu cartos because I didn't like the metal taste or feel either and they work great.FYI- I have not used them during this beta test.

Tried my delrin drip tips, they were all too loose. I need some thicker o-rings. I was about to modify a 901 cart(I prefere flat tips), but I tried the tape and it works great. Doesn't take away from the looks of the PB either.

If you mean just the batt for that price, I can understand where you are coming from. But it is a premium batt, and many other companies charge much more for a lower quality batt. If you mean a kit for that price, wishfull thinking. lol

Well without ecf discount I believe their batteries sell for around $23.50. The premiums I think are around $29? So I'm guessing this one will be around the $30 mark due to it's increased MAH. Dunno for sure. Time will tell.

There are alot of companies which google finds before the cheap sites(they pay a premium), who charge in excess of $40. Believe it or not. And I kinda doubt the are as high quality, and I know they don't look as good. Jeez, I'm becoming a SmokeStik fanboi all of the sudden. lol

I would have to agree that I believe the PB will cost more but considering the increase in battery life and overall quality of these premium batteries they are well worth the price. Not to mention the lifetime warranty which I personally have needed to utilize once with "no questions asked". Which brings me to the excellent customer service which goes without saying. Thank you again SS, Bill and Lori for all you do!
