Yes mine are the IKV 510 MEGA Platinum SR Punch V2 . I have tried a total of 6 cartos so far from different boxes. 3 of them were so tight that you couldn't possibly vape them. The other 3 were tight, you could vape them but it's not comfortable.

I wish to thank you for alerting me to this since I purchased enough of these to last me a Year.

Tried an experiment this morning with 2 more and there is a problem. They are priming correctly since I use the Thingy (Bottle) that came with my 19mm XL IBTank. Bubbles are apparent and the juice level lowers correctly.

The problem is when I use it since it is like a Blocked Straw.

When I changed back to my fresh Slotted Mega LR it was like a breath of fresh air.

Can someone post if they bought the latest batch Platinum SR Slotted. I can live with the Slotted if worst came to worst and I will ask Isaac to swap these for the Slotted.

Failure rates are becoming high now with some previous Fusions and now this. I should note that Isaac covered me on the Fusions.

I cannot take the risk of stock piling these so I am hoping he responds quickly and I will pack them up this weekend for a Return or Swap.

He hasn't replied to my email - has anyone else heard? The ones I loaded up yesterday are awful this morning. Yesterday at least I could get a little vapor - now it's as if they deprimed overnight:(

Lets be patient with this since I have full confidence Isaac will make us happy eventually.

I also sent him the Link for this Thread.

Hi 5cardstud, just curious, how is Isaac fixing the Fusions?

He didn't say but he tweeted that he was fixing them.

Lets be patient with this since I have full confidence Isaac will make us happy eventually.

I also sent him the Link for this Thread.

So did I. He has a lot going on right now but I assure everyone that he will take care of you. He really cares about his customers.

Hey guys,
I'm sorry for the MIA, I have been spending time repairing the 510 Fusions. I had no idea that the same added component was done to the latest Platinums. The gall of Boge for attempting to "enhance" our models on OUR lines is appalling. The Good news is, is that I can fix them. The bad news is, is that it is time consuming. At this time, I have no choice but to offer RMA's and refunds unless anyone is up for modding.
What they did was add an extra layer of protection for scorching around the coil just underneath the insulator that is causing the liquid to stop flowing. It runs from the coil to the port so it's set pretty low right. On the Fusions I have been widening the port to 3mm while piercing the sheet which had tested 100% successfully with a spiral saw. Though I'm fairly certain that a pin will do with the Platinum but I haven't tested it yet.

No worries on emails guys, you will get a reply in just a few moments.
Cartomizers or not, we always have your back. :)
Sincerely,
Isaac

Yes that fixes the airflow! Although there is still the vape problem in that it feels as if the carto needs to be reprimed from scratch again - make sense? (this is one that I just did yesterday - twice).
Cool, it works? Ok that does make sense!
Ok one more thing please, I’m sorry, I just think this may work. Try cupping your hand around where the tank meets the device and giving a dry pull. You should see bubbles rise from inside the tank. This should kick start the vacuum process.
Thanks for the response Isaac. I also received an email from you which I replied to. I wish I can try what you asked for but I already threw them out and didn't want to mess with any more.

No worries my friend, I have you on all of them, even the ones that are now gone. :)

Mr Isaac sir, before you run back to your yacht to rendezvous with the Iken Bikini Team, could you clarify on what 'modding' needs done. I still have a box of the Fusions that I'd be willing to try to fix myself. I'm just not 100% sure on what I'm supposed to be removing or puncturing or sternly threatening inside the carto.

Ahoy there Ozzy!
My my, it's hard to hear you from up here mwa mwa!
For the 510 Fusion model ONLY
I'm using a drill bit to pierce the sheets. Taking them out is too time consuming and needs special care, but piercing them works the same as removing. Do you have a thicker needle point or meat thermometer or just a safety pin to twist even better a drill bit to spin inside :D
You do not want to go all the way through, just a few mm. If it doesn't work, just send them over and I'll do it for ya. Ahem I mean one of my peasants will take care of it.

I tried this, tried pulling it up, tried it just barely making battery contact - no change. It vapes as if the carto is packed full of mud...
I can't really explain it, but it's like it's flooded and dry at the same time...or like there's double-stuffing to the extent it won't prime or wick right...

Guys and gals,
Can you try something for me? While testing airflow, can you turn your tank and lift ever so slightly and if it opens up the airflow?

So Cal
Mine isn't wicking properly, even after putting it back in The Thingy and twisting about 20 times to reprime. It's Pluid, so surely the carto should be faintly green? LOL I suppose it feels at bit like sucking with no power. In fact I wondered if there was something wrong with my battery this morning - it's almost as if it isn't firing properly.
