I think the whole 8/8/6 deadline was more to limit underage kids from getting ahold of anything... That's why bluecheck ( I feel sorry for the very few employees that they have!) are so completely overwhelmed with orders for companies to put age verifications on their websites..it pisses me off that companies are .....ing about how long they are taking to set it up. It's not like they did not have notice that they were going to need to have this! I'm sure bluecheck, and company's like theirs, did not have the resources to hire more staff before everyone and their brother tried to add them to their online storefront on 8/9.
I think the real problem, unless the regs are changed (which can happen) will be in two years, when the deadline for everyone to submit (aka pay) the fda will be...

READ THIS

Did you see this? It was posted either on Twitter or ECF. I cannot recall where but it definitely applies to tainted pg/vg/nic. Read THIS.
Yup, read that back when. The "we didn't know what was coming" story is bogus.

And I'm not paranoid. I'm well informed and a prepper...

I don't have proof either way if it is true or not but there is a lot of data on it: HERE.

Oh, indeed the feds tainted alcohol during prohibition.
It wasn't just a case of Capone et al poisoning the competition or folks drinking methanol
It's their MO. I mentioned earlier how morning glory seeds are treated with strychnine
to prevent people from buying them in bulk to extract a certain controlled substance.

As far as them doing as much to PG/VG it wasn't my imagination that came up with that possible scenario. It's mentioned in the article you linked to earlier.
I've read similar discussions on reddit also.

I'm looking for info on such tainting now and found this about synthetic nicotine
which pretty much gives the FDA a kick in the .... as far as it being tobacco related:
E-Cigs Are Going Tobacco-Free With Synthetic Nicotine

Wonder if the Feds are adding anything to raw nutmeg?..

Man that's a great question. I'm aware of what you can do with nutmeg...
Nutmeg seems to have naturally occurring strychnine which is why it's recommended that you soak it for 24 hours and wash it well.
I remember reading years ago in a book the title of which I can't post 'cause of the rules here that indeed they were but since it's used as a flavor I didn't believe it.
I know it's done to morning glory seeds and Hawaiian Baby Wood Rose seeds purposely,
those do not contain it naturally, but they do have those amides.

I would really like to see the FDA try and justify regulating synthetic nicotine. It might be amusing.
LOL! I'd bet your halo they'd try to justify that, probably classify it
Schedule I or II on the basis of possible abuse by children.

I should say, try to regulate it under the current regulations. They would have to come up with new regulations for synthetic, I would think.

Yes. But the tools we use to vape are already classified as tobacco products down to drip tips. That may well be a problem even if they can't justify classifying synthetic nic as a tobacco product, the paraphernalia would still be considered such.

Maybe if we use those other vaporizers..which begs another question/dilemma.
Both type are quite similar, why is one a tobacco product and not the other?

Amusing indeed!

If you're starting to stockpile now, buy the stuff likely to decrease in availability soon (or sooner than other things). Stuff like flavors (non tobacco derived), wire, cotton, bottles, batteries, and assorted and sundry will always be around (PG and VG too). What will not? Nicotine should be your #1, 2, and 3 purchase. No nic, no further point unless you like 0 nic. Add some power sources/mods and some tanks next. They will likely be around for some time, so it doesn't have to be tomorrow.

Wow. I found that so motivational. I should probably do more. I always wait till the last minute, I've always enjoyed that "late for the school bus" adrenaline rush since I was a kid, ionno, I have horrible procrastinating tendencies..

zaewb_s-200x150.gif

..only thing I've been doing is trying to buy all the authentic atty's and mod's that I've always wanted, buying them now. Manufacturers may stop production for some unknown reason, who knows. I check out FDA.info to see FDA deadlines of certain things coming up on vaping. As for now, I'm just buying devices and atomizers, no nic yet. I don't DIY. I'm silly and like to taste other's tasteful juices. I might learn, watch some YT DIY vid's, and buy nic later down the line..

EDIT: FDAregs.info

I emphatically suggest that you give DIY a try.
You'll read that most of us DIY aficionados are quite evangelical if you will
but we have good reasons to be so.
First off, you'll save tons of money after getting set up with your lab which does entail investing in some equipment such as graduate cylinders, beakers or erlenmyer flasks,
hypodermic with blunt nose needles and such,
but at first you can just mix and shake.
Second, you will be able to custom make your juice to your precise taste.
Third, given the current situation juice will become more difficult to buy soon
Fourth, repeat the previous three.. :)

You'll find we're quite helpful. Looksie in the DIY subsection for inspiration.
I can turn you on to a site that lists recipes for cloning most of the best
and most expensive juices.

Yea, correct. Pardon me for not specifying that.We make cheese also.
This for the doubters:
Amish farmer targeted by FDA raids shuts down raw milk business

SWAT Team Raids Rawesome Raw Milk | Must See Video!! - Whole New Mom

There are several instances of similar situations where one federal agency or another
overstepped their authority allegedly for our protection.
One which comes to mind is when a Department of Education SWAT Team raided
a guy's house because his ex wife had defaulted on her student loans...

Interestingly, to me at least, the Obamas owed on their student loans for years
and only paid up in 2004. The couple paid off their loans in the same year that he ran for and won the Senatorial race. By that point, he had been working as a state senator for seven years and Mrs. Obama was working as an executive at the University of Chicago hospitals.

But nobody raided them...like I said previously, different laws applied selectively for different people. Just look a Mrs Clinton and the FBI...
But this has nothing to do with vaping or making cakes. LOL
So I'm back to the music and making cheese.
The last time I bought cream cheese I found a nail clipping...
Kraft-Heinz claimed it was a clump of gum...as if I hadn't examined it under a microscope
and tried to break the clump...

Regards,
Hazy

Nc clip. I appreciate hard working humble people, fresh food, and my Horizon Organic Milk.
I love farmers. They have a hit and miss lifestyle like cards at a poker game sometimes.
Must take some guts to be one. Respect.

Yes Sir.
I like Willie Nelson too. LOL. I see you're in Austin.
I'm a city slicker but my mom came from a farming family.
Some of the friendliest folks I'ver met were good old boys and girls.
Can you imagine what went through their heads when they saw armed storm troopers
raiding them over milk?
There are more instances of gub'min overreach and over reaction I could post
but I'd probably get in trouble.
I came up when cops fired warning shots and knocked on doors to serve
warrants rather than use battering rams to knock doors down.
So I'm a bit prejudiced...let's call me a constitutionalist
and much of what I see the gub'min doing isn't.

Oh yeah, good ole Willie. Everyone thinks of him, Sandra Bullock, Lance Armstrong, Andy Roddick, or Whole Foods when they think about Austin. I love it here, this is as big of a city I'd like to live in. It's not too big like Dallas or Houston, perfect size to me. Don't plan on living anywhere else, but I do love to travel, I'm an army brat and I was in the Air Force myself. Traveling, meeting new people, and appreciating the diversity of the world is in my blood. I'm half White and half Korean too. Lots of diverse ethnicities here as any normal big city, not just cowboys in sh-t kickers like the small towns like how everyone views Texas. But yeah, I'm not sure if I've even met one farmer in my life, I honestly respect their lifestyle though. Without them, no food, they feed America..

Had a reply all written out and combofix shut down the browser...I was scanning 'cause I seem to have picked something up. All taken care of now.
A good friend's son lives in Austin. He's a computer programmer, used to work for the college. The last time my bud was there visiting Ray he brought me back a little Texas flag bumper sticker that I'm looking at as I write.

Time for me to crash. The Sandman awaits.
laters and Good night.

And this is the main reason I bought 2 more gallons of VG. This thought has crossed my mind and I have mentioned it but always get the reply....but it is used in lots of other things so they couldn't possibly add anything to it to make it taste bad. I don't trust any of 'the powers that be' and wouldn't put anything past them. Yes. I AM that paranoid and my peace of mind is worth spending a little extra now while I know my VG is still good to vape.
I am almost sure you are right but in my case it was easier to just get enough to last me a very long time. Now I don't even have to think about it. We all have to do whatever gives us peace of mind. It was just one more insurance policy for me.
Me too. It's less of a headache to just buy it than it is to think it to death, trying to figure out if I need to stock up or not.
