You have this COMPLETELY backwards. Larger wire equals LESS resistance, and 32 gauge will give you much HIGHER resistance than 28...

You say you "build with twisted wire all the time".... you're the kind of person who risks blowing their face off because they haven't the slightest idea of what's going on.

I know exactly what I'm talking about

I'm not going to argue with you because YOU obviously don't have a clue.

It's not the same at all when you build a dual coil.

It's more like when you do more wraps on one side you get higher resistance. The same is true when you do larger wire you get higher resistance.

I.E. A 32 gauge 20 wraps will be lower resistance than a 28 gauge 20 wraps.

I build with twisted wire all the time.

You are confused my friend. Smaller wire equals higher resistance.

Let me apologize for the last few post. My wording and my thinking was confused.

I've been working on amp setting all day for a few builds and must not have paid attention to my wording or yours.

For some reason I was replacing resistance with amps for all of us. I was thinking in terms of higher amp draw for dual coil vs same length for single sides coils.

My sincerest apology.

I was confused. These coils make me loopy.
