Folded Ribbon Kanthal from a 0.4mm x 0.1mm to get the twisted Kanthal effect (shelving the resistance by half). So much easier to handle once it's folded and you will get 2x the heat too. Hugs the mesh like snake/belt.

Does the air hole line up with the wick? Mine is about a half turn away which is quite a bit, I'm not sure what's the best way to line it up any suggestions? And does yours have the original air hole or did you drill it out?

Newest setup in my AGA-T2+ and it's insane.
#200 solidish wick and 0.25mm kanthal for ~0.7-0.8ohms. Wicks like nuts. Put some PSV Black Mamba (DIY concentrate 25% with 70/30 ratio PG/VG)

Second picture didn't work out as I wanted but coil height vs airhole height is perfect (do mind that I have sanded the AGA-T2+ hat down ~0.3-0.4mm for a little teeny weeny bit smaller chamber and lower airhole position)

Half an hour later I took those pics. I had filled the tank to the brim LOL

This thing just wicks and vapes and wicks and vapes.

P.S. I have it on a mechanical mod and use unprotected safe chemistry IMR/IMR hybrid batteries. This setup is not recommended on any regulated mod or with unprotected/non-safe chemistry batteries.
