What gauge wire you think is best for a few (4-7) wrap dual wide (5-7/64) coil for deep ohm (<.3)

Did you literally run a flame on the wick before installing it?
Flat hammered twisted...
I may have to try that
It's pretty neat, I just wished I had some 26 or 28 to use instead. But if you do try it don't hammer it too hard, go slow with it because if your hammer it too flat then it becomes too brittle to make into a coil. Just so you know

I find the idea of a flattened twist or braid more appealing that ribbon, which is OK, i supposeWhy don't you just get Ribbon wire, it's assume that hammered or smashing wire wound be spotty...?

have you tried putting the wire in a vice or pliers to squash it? might be more consistent![]()

First try at iTeo wick.
0.34 ohms
7/64 in.
24 g
8 wraps
Detouche Taurus
I need to go with less wraps. Heats too slowly. I took a pad of Ko Gen Do cotton and spilt it in half. Rolled it. Soaked it. Really dense wick. I don't think I could pack it much more. Fed it through. Firm fit but not chocking in the coil. Rewetted. Fill juice well. Let it sit
Will see how it goes.

Edit: it works. Taste of cotton even with a full flavored juice like Cheesecake but after 22 good long pulls, no burning. Lots of vapor till pull 17 but still respectable after that. Flavor is getting better. Now just fill juice well and it soaks it all up. 33 drops before it hit the rim.

About the iTeo wick method...
First I take a piece of old paper towel or tissue...
Seriously, the pictures did explain rather well how to create the wick but I couldn't find anything explaining what material was being used. Can someone help me out here?
