Damn straight, brother :) looking really forward to XC 116ing too :)

Like Pdib said, this XC-116 is SUPER useful, you CAN just about do whatever you want with it....

Meters in at 2.5 ohms (but hits like a 1.5 or so, just like you guys said!) Its just a small drop cut from my other XC wicking (maybe a little more than half an inch), wound into a coil on the deck, then some cotton on top to deal with too much juice. Wasn't sure how much that small bit would absorb, so added the little "stopgap" in there... wicks off the cotton really well, though I might "flip" it and place the XC tail on top of the cotton and see if it wicks even better....

Who needs a hobby? I vape and build coils!!! (and do DIY juices for my friends here in Lubbock :toast:)

Stay Strong and Vape on guys!

Homework . . . . . .due tuesday

pdib, man you going to have to give me a little longer on the homework. I am at work and waiting on an order of wire to come in lol.
But what that last build didn't show was that the mesh wick on the RSST was short. I did that on purpose to try and save the juice from being heated too much. It is working wonderfully also :toast:

Thought I would share-
Figure 8 or "infinity" coil. 28g kanthal, 1ohm. Holy cow. It's everything that's great about dual coils without upping the resistance overall.
Stuffed into a Phoenix:

Super hot:

Cotton wicks in:

And stuffed:

And I am LOVING it. Super fun to build and will be my Phoenix setup from now on!
Thanks for all of the inspiration in this forum!

So I picked up my first rba last sat at my local vape store sweet-vapes. Got the aga t2. Was mad the middle nut was stripped but still using it and saving the spare for no reason... anyways first coil was 28awg at 7/6 at .9 ohms on the provari. Kept getting shorts so ripped it out and made a new one with 32awg at 1.8ohm with 4/3 wraps and have not used juice yet for this one as Im waiting on my radiator pluid to use which won't be here till sat but I do have gorilla juice and bogas bounty coming tomorrow I might try one of those out with the coil wick setup.

The wick this time I folded the end first before rolling that Iseen on a vid and no shorts and looks great. Will def get more rbas. I just found out why people use mechs and not vv which is great as I have 2 twists. Picked up 12x12 400 mesh and 6x6 325 and 100ft 32 awg a1 kenthal. Ordering 100ft soon for my mech.

32 gauge 3/4 wrap. 400 or 500 mesh (cant remember) Both wick holes drilled to 1/8". drilled little hole in back for fill/air hole. Just did this today. working pretty good so far. 0.9 ohms at build. should settle in around 0.8 I hope. One wick was old and one new. So it should get better after a tank or two.
