My v5 doesn't have this elaborate display like yours.. Is it because its older maybe?
I have one exactly like that. EHPro or hcigar makes it. Different than most in that it only does RMS (the desired method) and cannot be changed to Mean mode. Also has a puff counter. But still pretty much identical to any other Vamo V5. There are plenty of companies that make the Vamo. Its been highly cloned you could say ;)

2 strands of 28 ga twisted together and wrapped 5/6 times tested at 0.4 ohms and vapes great, wishing I added another wrap though.

you don't want one, Tbev. Has rattlesnake chip and a 15w max, and it;s ohm reader is crrap and it's just prtty meh in general IMO.

Was my first VV.

although to be fair I do use it sometimes in 18350 mode, generally with the Kayfun mini 2.1s... which are home to my cigarette/tobacco blends, generally higher ohms so works well (won't fire under 1.0). Just threw a 2.5ohm on it @ 4.7v -- good for puff puff

It is a decent starter device for someone sick of eGos but who just wants more control over a conventional vape.

Beautiful Slippy. Is there an easy way to estimate resistance of the parallel wrapped coils?

Yeah halve the resistance of one coil. Will get you really close the little bit of extra wire used for parallels Will add a little resistance to it not much

is just like dual coils, just smooshed together; technically duals are also in parallel

is not like with twisted where you don't halve the res per cm, 'cause in twisted you're also putting in way more wire per cm on each strand
