6 pieces of 28ga kanthal.
3 individually twisted clockwise to straightened out the wire. The other 3 counterclockwise to straightened out kanthal.
3 that was clockwise now needs to come together and twist counterclockwise.
3 that was counterclockwise needs to be twisted together clockwise.
Leaving the one you just twisted on the drill grab pliers that are flat, grab the wire between the pliers at the drill. Start the drill and gently pull the pliers through the wire to flattened out. Repeat till it's flat.
Repeat for other wire but remember to go the same way that wire was twisted together.

After both are twisted and flattened, just do a parallel coil.

Holy cowbell that's going to be low ohms even with 30g (outta everything but 30 and 24)
I got a .3ohms limit on my raptor
Here we go... If my drills gotta cuff juice

Heres mine thought i would try it with 4 strands instead of 6. (makes ne want to get done 32-34g to twist with.
.7ohms heats quick at 6v.
Wish i had some different attys but my TOBH won't work with my raptor mod
So i squeezed this into a igoW (off topic??? Can i remove one of them neg- post maybe pull it out with pliers...)
Getting ready to wick her up with rayon. And ill post back

Here is my current setup I put in my Veritas this morning as I was in the mood to make a new style coil I never did before. I keep challenging myself whenever I have the spare time to see if I personally can handle more complex coil building only been rebuilding for less then a month started vaping on a RDA skipped all the other stuff because I love to tinker. This is a 2 strand 28 ga twisted 5 wrap Vertical coil on a 5/64 drill bit. Sits at 0.7 ohms. Vapes really well I think this is the most perfect coil I ever made heats up right from dead center.

Indeed it does :) Gonna assume those side screw holes are home grown...good thinking, deffo a plus with longer coil wraps :toast:

It is Kayfun 3.1 ES, NOT Kayfun Lite. They come with those holes and when you have those leads made out of NON Resistant wire, it doesn't matter how long they are.

This one is Kayfun Lite:

Finally wicked up my build that I shared above. At 0.5 ohms, the heat up time is solid, and a 1 to 2 second draws give me HUGE vapor production. The strange thing is even with all my airflow completely maxed out, I'm getting great flavor. A little too intense in fact. Gonna hafta make a diluted batch of juice for this. Hmmm

Yeah, I'm vaping on some strawberry kiwi flavored juice from SouthBeachVapor which was sold as a single shot strength, I've halved it (bought 12mg and diluted it 1:1 with VG to make 6mg) and the nic hit is perfect but the flavor is just so intense, might need to halve it again but add a bit of nic to it to keep it at 6mg... damn strong flavors, making me use up my unflavored VG... lol

Meh is right ive been using a ink pen

30g twisted 8 wraps 2mm @ .62 and 5.5v on the raptor works pretty good

24g twisted semi flattened. Wrapped it around a piece of metal like a zip tie.

Comes in at .5ohms, and even at 3.5v on my raptor there's no heat up time, and nice vapor. Tried a few pullS at 6v half second or less lungs full lol.
I think the heat up time is so quick because how thin the coil is. Kinda Llike a tall nano coil lol.
