Cool. I'm usually around .20-.35 area. But .28 has been my sweet spot. Just wanted to know if there was another battery that we can use besides Sony's. Prices on them are getting ridiculous.

The efest 2100 mah purple is a rewrapped vtc4.... Not the 2500 mah that's a 20 amp panasonic advertised as a 35 amp battery.....

That sure is a Purdy one tho, if you do another matching one you can run the dual build it might be low enough to get going a bit....your already half way there...haha

Oh it actually heats up pretty fast. Its a parallel (triple twisted 30ga) to get 0.49 ohms and the heat up time is good for me. The 30ga instead of 28 def helped a ton. Damned wires are just so springy yet stiff, it's impossible to get it nice and tight. Plus I had to twist 9x wires, then a twist for each triplet. Too much work and effort.

Wow, I was thinking it was prolly 28ga and it was ringing in around 1 to 1.4ish. ..hell I'd running it then bro! It does look dope !

Nope :) this was around a 3/32 drill bit too.

I've tried this build using the actual 28ga as specified by the originator. But the resistance was faaaar too low for my comfort level (6x 28ga is veeeeery much lower than 6x 30ga lolololol) and the heat up time on a mech was ridiculous. This was a pretty good compromise.

I know what you are saying.I have been sub'ing strictly on my efest batts too,yes I have a .... ton of the reds myself.I have also been stocking up on the 18650 2500Mah 35A purple efest, and the 18490 purple efest too,i seldom go down to 18350 size strictly because battery life just is not there yet.I sub ohm my 35A efest mainly at .5 and I have a few juices I go down to .25.I also have a few Sony VTC5's and AW's but efest are my battery of choice too.

Have you tried out the 18350 purple efest 10.5A batt yet??? I am wondering why they up'd the amp's on the 350's with just 700Mah to vape with?? I also have just acquired a few purple efest 26650's for my Hades,Tree of Life, and El'Gigante MOD's.
The purple efest 18350 batteries are not 10.5 its actually 6. 10.5 is the pulse rating. So they are a bit scetchy in their advertising. The red ones are rated 7 apparently.

6 pieces of 28ga kanthal.
3 individually twisted clockwise to straightened out the wire. The other 3 counterclockwise to straightened out kanthal.
3 that was clockwise now needs to come together and twist counterclockwise.
3 that was counterclockwise needs to be twisted together clockwise.
Leaving the one you just twisted on the drill grab pliers that are flat, grab the wire between the pliers at the drill. Start the drill and gently pull the pliers through the wire to flattened out. Repeat till it's flat.
Repeat for other wire but remember to go the same way that wire was twisted together.

After both are twisted and flattened, just do a parallel coil.
