Yesterday wasn't completely unproductive. While at my folks house me and my dad build a little stand so my drill can stand super horizontal and another little piece to mount my swivels so I don't have to do it all flat on a table. Save my back this way by being higher off the table. My girl took this picture. I'm staggering 30/40 :D

Life is now easier

The base of my drill slopes in the other direction so i need to build up the front, i put the handle of my pliers underneath.
Whats that thing you're holding in your left hand?

Hahaha I'm staggering it. Learned a ton about staggers today btw. I was going to repeat your build but with a lot higher gauges, 40/30. I lost interest and started working on my new concept. I'll post it when I'm done. I'm not disclosing anything until then :p

What you're really trying to say is you couldn't do it?

Cotton Bacon V2 actually! Rayon is on my list of materials to try though!

Ive been on a Cotton Bacon kick for a few months now actually, some good stuff, little pricey, but Ill pay the premium

It looks like it has some nice thin fibers :thumb: I'm still chewing through my supply of ... pads:) If i use Rayon i use it in things like the aromamizer etc where its continually being fed, i prefer cotton in drippers But having said that i'm using cotton in both my limitless.

TBH I have really been wondering all along if Cotton Bacon V2 is actually Rayon. It has a number of the characteristics that define Rayon I have noticed, like you addressed the thin fibers and wicking speed. My Goblin Mini used to be Dry Hit City when I was using ... Pads, once I went to Cotton Bacon, that completely went away, and it feeds almost too well at times. Another couple things though I have noticed, absolutely no cotton taste at all, first hit is nice and clean flavor, Nic hit is definitely a bit more intense than with ... Pads, it also seems to scorch a lot less easily than ... pads as well. Its definitely some interesting stuff.

From what you're describing it definitly sound's the same as Rayon.
I kind of like my Hot Builds and if i use rayon in a dripper i have to pretty much refuel the wick after every pull, i also get that sound when the wick has gone dry and then more juice has reached that area of wick/coil and starts sizzling.
I also tried it with a 3mm id coil and had to thin out the tails quite a lot to make it all fit in the rda But found that tapering the tails made the juice supply worse, i have a feeling that cotton feeds better across the fibers.

Worked on it today again. This time got 3 feet of 44/40 and stitched it with 40 gauge. Was able to get 2 and a half wraps. Sight. Could have used another foot of it but that sh. T is pretty hard to do.

For any of you that ever claptoned 44 around 40 you'll understand the struggle.

I'll redo this build tomorrow or I'll throw something new. Now that I know what it read I got a bit of a room to play with

Nice work on the wire justadude;)

I took a pic of a build in my other Limitless that's working really well, it's hitting all the right spots, it's 24g n80, there is a seed right next to a wrap but it isn't affecting the vape :)

And I've also been having a play with wire but nothing like yours dude, I've only done trip core aliens up till now so here's a pic of a 2core alien wire

Yeah you wanna do atleast 4-5' of microclap per coil depending on what kinda cores you're going over. I built a 40/46 over 6x.4 staggerton with a 44g fuse over 28g frames once. The microclap work just wasn't worth it, takes way too long. It's a different story with ribbon tho.

Stacked ribbon dimensions are different than round wire. Like if you're stacking 8x.4 it's as if you're fusing 2x26g at .405mm each. About 5' gets around 4 to hopefully 5 wraps on a 3mm

And as for my working wire set up in my Kennedy25:

Missed a few staggers but I don't care, I'm just glad the stainless colored nicely.
