Okay so I put stainless steel wick and eco wool on my ihybrid, and I get great vape lots of clouds but the flavor seems a bit muted? What can I do to fix that? Should I wrap cotten around the steal wick instead of eco?

Try reducing the area inside the topcap by putting cotton around the back side of the post. Make sure you roll it tight and just hold it in place and snap the top back on. That might help without you having to take it apart and rewrap it. I love cotton but not with a metal wick. the metal seems to hold the heat and brown the cotton. You could also try mesh around the cable, that's what I'm running in one of my gennies and I really like it.

0.21 ohm dual 11 wrap 28g kanthal around a piece of 28g kanthal. Insane vapor production with great taste. It's a pretty hot vape though.

I know... all the kool kids have chamber reducers nowadays. I will try to make one eventually :p

I bought the Fusions Mods RSST TCI and while the price was ok, I'm not that impressed with the result. Honestly, rolling a little bit of cotton and sticking it up in the top cap had a better result. The TCI also seems to collect all the condensation during vaping and you end up getting a taste of straight e-liquid in your mouth occasionally, not to mention the mess of the condensation that ends up pooling on the deck making a mess when you pull the cap off. Before the TCI, the deck in my RSST stayed relatively clean and dry.

Yes the flavor is better, but the side effects may not be worth the difference.

FWIW, I decided to blow the dust off my AGA-T2 tonight and did a similar SS rope/mesh setup as my RSST. Stuffed a little cotton up in the T2's top cap and the flavor is noticeably better on the T2 then the RSST with TCI, using the same liquid.

Sending a pic where do I put cotton?

The chamber is small enough on the pure. I use the exact same build on the exact same device and its a killer. Let the wick sit loose, not cockeyed and make sure you arent wrapping the wire too tight because it chokes the wicking off. It should just be wrapped not strangled.

Decided to ditch the SS mesh and try Peaches and Creme Cotton Yarn for my Steam Turbine Clone build.
Little higher Ohms than what I was shooting for, but after 3 tries to get this built, Im gonna go with it for awhile ;)

verdict?

i got a Ti SteamTurbine, was wondering if it is worth taking apart to do a cotton build....

Yup. I would eat cotton is always worth I it...

I have two pulse gennys I run them both single wick with reduced chambers and I like them much better than my steam turbine, kraken, aga, everything...
