How do you like that mix of Ribbon n wire, compared to others?

Dude bro, its different in a couple of ways. First, happy Valentine's day everyone! Second it takes a min to build......... Once it's built it needs to be perfect (barely overlapping each flat ribbon wrap) then it's got to be tight, oh so very tight. Then where the screw locks the kanthal in the post that ribbon wire needs to be spaced a bit so your screw makes contact to both wires. OK then you wick it thick and vape. Also, my wraps were done on a 1/8in drill bit

Flavor is like a phat micro coil, and puts out fat clouds like a .2ohm build and! The vape is cool. I don't like warm vape so this really is ideal for me.

Thanks for asking man!

Looks absolutely sexy. Thanks for the pic! I am holding out right now for the Stingray Black Copper, but I may jump on one of these since they are showing up now...

I'm new to this but it seems like everyone has a completely different set up and swears it's the best way to build lol.

Our tastes are all subjective. As of right now I have 5 RBAs (tanks and drippers) and only one has me saying a big "hell yeah!" every time I hit it. In many of them I have tried various "perfect" builds and been disappointed. I have learned a lot, and am still learning, but nothing I own is perfect... and neither is anyone else's, I hate to say. But it is subjective, as one's taste buds will never be objective.

opinions are like a-holes... everyone has one.
There is no such thing as the perfect setup, only the one that works best for you.

Consistency is key, if you can repeat a build you like, then you have found your utopia.

I keep my builds simple and efficient... It is what has worked best for me.
It only takes me 5 minutes, from no coil to vaping...

I'm with you on that one. Consistency is key. It used to be a chore to rebuild because i was always trying something crazy and fancy. Now it consists of 10 wrap micro coils on a DZ coil jig and I'm ready to vape. No fancy stuff, just simple, consistent and efficient!

I love the complicated and challenging builds. I do this as a hobby. I always have a sr boge carto in a cheap tank on the vamo so its not about always having something to vape on. I have settled on a twisted 28 build in the Chaifun GT. Everything else gets rebuilt daily and I build coils all day at work. I do consistent stuff for others but my stuff is always the most challenging thing I can find to do. Just order 5 more spools of kanthal. I don't like running low. Lol.

Just tried my own spin on a MattyB1503 build. 1mm nano's, 28g, 8 wraps each, wicked and bedded, and positive legs twisted for centerpost alignment. Thanks for the idea MattyB. This is awesome!uploadfromtaptalk1392439573213.jpg

Looks better than a KFL to me. Bottom air feed A7 clone gave me some tasty vape but I moved on to 14.5 mm IGO-F which produces similar vapor w/ no chance of flooding the 510 connector. I suppose no worries for Reo and cousin.

It is a rockin RBA for sure. It's 14mm and side air so for BF'ing it's insane. Flood proof, great vape, highest quality and looks to kill :)

I've never used or even seen a KFL in person but and as good as true fresh squeezed juice on demand is, I have not even a curiosity about anything else :)
