It is about surface area vs heat energy with a host of other factors thrown in. Twisted (round or ribbon or both) increases the surface area per ohm compared to single round. You can get too much surface area per ohm and the vape suffers as well. And to further muddle the subject up, the heat energy will vary with the battery internal resistance and mod resistance (on a mech) as well. (Which is why MM is a little to much for duals)
Suddenly a vision comes to me-----a mod and atty with 2 independent battery circuits for dual coils----have to order more stuff now.

I'm wicking and cleaning less due to the fact I'm not experimenting with coils a dozen at a time anymore. LOL
And on the other hand, I've never gotten a twisted-anything build to work all that well for me. Simple kanthal coils always work best for me for some reason... Different strokes!
I was already thinking about chopping the ring off of one. Maybe a could get a bottle to fit in the 510 extender. That would be cool because I could BF without tearing VTR open. Now I need two of em. Dang. You guys have a way of making my billfold hurt.

Pretty ugly Twisted 28 ga. Dual Coils netting 0.33ohm... Dropped me down to 3nic and still OD'ed me, crazy flavor.

Are you vapin on SubZero there Tbev? That's my ADV, and I'm dying to see what it vapes like over 12 watts. I can't presently get higher than that, and between 11.5 and 12., it tastes scorched to me. I've had a few buddies say that most juices don't really wake up until above 15...
